Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Review

best mascara i have ever tried!!!! so good, doesn't clump or anything! i recommend this mascara to all my friends! and it is reasonably affordable, so that a bonus!

Packaging is good, a bright aqua blue, so it's easy to find in the makeup bag. Easy to hold on to, as the package is not thin and streamlined. The brush has bristles, which I prefer over silicone brushes. I apply at least two coats to get the length and definition I want, drying time is not long. The wand has an 'elbow' about halfway up, apparently this makes applying it easier, but I didn't really see how this feature was beneficial for me personally. The mascara really does last the whole day, and does not irritate the eyes, however I would have liked more of a POP from the purple colour. The purple is very dark and subtle. Comes off well at the end of the day, and I have not noticed any fall out throughout the day. A good daytime choice as the colour is not intense.

I have the purple shade of this, and i find it lengthens my lashes alot, and the colour comes out amazingly on dark lashes. It layers well and doesnt go clumpy or yukky.

I was drawn in to buy this by the bright blue packaging with gorgeous purple writing... but it's just an average mascara.

The brush is a bit strange and wiry, but does an OK job on lashes. However it is quite difficult to use sometimes because it is so bendy! This does hold true to it's claims of a non-stiff, gel/mousse formula but it doesn't do much to your lashes at all. It doesn't hold a curl which is the thing I mostly dislike about this.

I found it made my lashes slightly thicker and spiky, which was not the look I was going for. If you're looking for a more natural looking mascara, this will do for you, but otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Overall I do think there are much better mascaras out there, especially for the price. I son't be buying this again as I have found much better alternatives.

Not a big fan of Maybelline mascara, this one goes gluey . And I hate the brush. Wouldn't buy again .

The brush is very flimsy so it's a mission in itself to even apply would never buy this again or recomend it to anybody I would warn them off it

I really don't like the applicator, it is bendy and the brush is clumpy and annoying, Don't reccomend

The gorgeous packaging caught my eye. I mean, who wouldnt love the pretty baby blue and hot pink metallic tube.

The brush is quite unique in that it is sort of 3 sided.Once you have had a few tries with it I am sure you will get the hang of it.

The formula is ok...along with the design of the brush and formula you will achieve an alright kind of application . I didnt find the formula too thick so I had to apply 2 coats, which is ok if you have the time in the morning, if not with only one coat, the result was rather lackluster. I didnt find the formula clumpy which is great. There was no volume or wow factor.

It will wash off with my usual eye make up remover easily which is a real plus.

Over all, this mascara is not as amazing as other Maybelline mascaras, but for a quick application that will seperate your lashes thjs one is pretty good.

This is an amazing mascara. It gives my lashes amazing volume. Also because of it's gel formula it does not dry up during the day and start to flake off. My lashes never feel too dry or stiff but neither wet. It also gives my lashes a nice curl which doesn't seem to droop as the day goes on.

I enjoy this product. The formula is great, I do find that the bendy brush can be annoying to start with however once you are used to it you hardly notice it. I've also learnt to make sure the lid is done up super tight or it doesn't last long due to drying out, however when applied to my lashes I love it. Gives great length and thickness, it doesn't run or irritate my eyes at all. I love it and will use it again and purchase for sure.
