I do really like this gel eyeliner, it is very easy to put on and if done right look perfect. I prefer to use liquid eyeliner though.

I got given one of these from an aunty of mine for Christmas. I think this stuff is so good! It lasted me for so long and I'd wear it everyday. Although, on the summer the gel eyeliner would melt on my eyes and smuge which put me off this so I started using liquid eyeliner. This stuff is super good just not so good when its super hot or if you sweat a lot :p
Tips: Set this with a black eye shadow. Keep the applicator brush clean because it gets dirty quite fast from the eyeliner making it hard to work with
Awfully fiddly and it's a lot harder to get a thinner line than what you would with something like liquid eyeliner. Gel liner looks so awesome and lasts (provided you let it set). If you don't, it goes everywhere and is such a hassle. Blackest Black doesn't exactly come across as heavily black soo.. Hmm.
Tips: Keep your eye shut for a while and let it dry.
I was very happy with gel eyeliner i loved how easy it was to apply this rather than using a pen and it always achieved my desired looks as well
Tips: clean the brush after each use. and keep it out of the sun
I have the one in brown with very slightest amount of shimmer. The color pay off is opaque and the quality compared to its price is very good. Though I would not recommend to those who have hooded or oily eyelids due to smudging. I don't even have either of those eyelids but found the eyeliner transfers to under eye on hot days or if I wear it for a long day/night out.
Tips: Topping off with eyeshadow does help to keep the eyeliner from transferring.
I love how opaque this eyeliner is and how easy it is to apply but also how long wearing I've found this eyeliner although I find my eye lidsget a bit oily so after a period of time I do have to touch up. The product is great for gel liner lids get but I do prefer liquid.
The Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner is not the most amazing gel liner but it's not bad at all. It's black, it dries to a matte finish and doesn't bleed or smudge but it's not the creamiest or the blackest gel liner I've ever used. I will finish the pot but I don't think I'll repurchase as I'm looking for something a little creamier and blacker.
Tips: I would definitely suggest not to use the angled liner brush that it comes with as it's not really the right shape for creating a crisp line or a winged liner. My suggestion is to saturate both sides of your brush the wipe off the excess and do short strokes as opposed to a one swoop line as it doesn't glide across the eyelid very nicely.
I bought this yonks ago and I must say, while it's far better than a pencil if you want it to last a lot longer, but for me - after a couple of hours, it starts to run.
I've only used the black so haven't managed to get around to any other colours yet, but maybe because the one I'm using is so old, the formula has changed.
Tips: I do the liner with eyeshadow first, then put the gel over top once I've got the line drawn it. I'm far too uncoordinated to do it in gel straight off the bat!
This eyeliner is okay, it's affordable and usable.
The brush I find is not angled enough. A cheap angled brush from The Warehouse worked better for me.
I also found that it dries out really quickly, within the span of the month, it became unusable in conditions where the lid was on and in a dark cool place.
Tips: If it dries out boil some in a pot, put a shallow bowl in the boiling water and put your liner in the bowl. Wait for it to melt a bit and store it somewhere cool like the fridge until set.
My eyes tend to get a little oily and the crease gathers product all the time, so I rarely use eye makeup other than mascara (though I love it so!). I read great reports of Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner, so sought it out at Farmers. I don't usually like to buy waterproof eye makeup as I don't like the extra work it takes to remove, so I bought the regular version. The packaging is really cute in a little glass pot, it seems precious. The tiny brush is black and easily misplaced I found, and the brush cover is a little fiddly - I prefer to keep the brush cover though to keep the bristles tidy for such delicate work. Application was smooth, the formulation doesn't run or drip. It felt nice to apply and is a great intense pigment of black. The bristled brush also allows you to get in between lashes for a truly dense line. Unfortunately for me, it didn't have the staying power I am hunting for, even with a primer and setting powder used. I think the oils in my eye area just refuse to allow any eye makeup to sit!
Tips: If you are blessed with eyes that wear eye makeup well, this is an excellent gel liner and I would recommend it! Excellent for the retro cat-eye look.
