Maybelline Define-a-lash Mascara Review

I love this mascara . My first one I got for free , and I was surprised at how much I loved it ! I use it daily and find it fantastic for build up and long , natural looking lashes . I use it over my more expensive mascaras and find it lasts well all day .

I love this product bought it for my sisters and they haven't bought any other kind since. defiantly does what it guarantees. Dosent thicken them at all so I would have to use another mascara first but worth the price.

I love Maybelline Mascara anyway, but this one was my deadset standby when I lived overseas and had a different range of choices. I still buy it in NZ too. It just WORKS. What more can I say?

The hot pink (or lime green, depending on if you want the waterproof one or not) tubes are funky, eyecatching and - importantly - easy to spot in your makeup bag.

The thinner tube and flexible, skinny brush are ideal for full application and ensuring that lashes are all found and painted.

The mascara goes on easily, doesn't clump or flake, and definitely defines lashes.

It also comes off the way it should (ie cleanly, with the help of makeup remover) without smearing and residual black marks.

Main drawcard - makes my lashes look hot!

I love this mascara! my favourite everyday mascara, gives my lashes length and a nice thickness. I also like how the wand/brush isn't to big so it's good to get the bottom lashes also!

This is my favourite mascara. I really like the different brush, it never clumps! I went back to a normal brush mascara but just ended up buying this one again. I don't think

For me the issues are always with the brushes and how fast it dries. I Have not had either of these issues come up with this product and has been a great replacement for my old favourite that got discontinued and this is now my daily go to.

The fine teeth on the brush mean I have had very few clumps over the time I've been using this product. You can quite easily get great coverage with two flicks of your wrist for each eye, the liquid itself is great for giving you a decent coating and just going over it again can give you a thicker bolder coverage it that’s what you are going for.

Even if you do manage to give yourself a clump somehow you can give the brush an easy wipe and use it to separate your lashes with it wiping the mascara off your lashes due to the brush having what looks like a non stick coating on it, (it actually reminds me of my non stick rubbery bake-ware) so the product will stay on your lashes and not get wasted drying on the brush over time either.

The brush does well against causing clumps and is not one of those fat ones that leave you scared you'll be putting war paint on your cheeks instead of accentuating your eyes.

This is a good lasting mascara that I have never had smudge issue with, maybe a once a day touch up before going out at night if you're wanting it a bit bolder for the evening but I’ve never needed to touch up during the day, and then at the end of it had little difficulty getting it off. You are not going to need to scrub very much to get this off your eyes I've always found it come off quite easily with a decent makeup remover or at a pinch baby wipes.

I am really in love with this mascara. The wand is awesome for getting to the root of the lashes, it lengthens, gives volume and doesn't clump. I find that it is actually quite hard to get off though - "removes easily with soap and water" yeah right Maybelline, I have to reaaly soak my lashes with a drenched cotton bad using a eye makeup remover. That's my only problem though, other wise the mascara is damn near perfect.

At first i did not like this product but after not using it for a long time i came back to it and started liking it! Defined my lashes just how i like them :)

This mascara is my everyday & all time favourite mascara. This mascara does exactly what it says, always goes on nice & easy & defines each individual lash. Overall this is a very easy mascara to use. The pink packaging makes it nice to have in your makeup kit. BUT as much as I love this product I have just replaced it with a new one (same product) & it is very cloggy & doesn't go on AS nice .. However I will give it another chance!

I have used this mascara for years with no problems and will keep using it. The packaging is awesome my favorite colour pink it has a small curved brush that works really well both top and bottom lashes. I find that two coats is enough coverage and length for me. It is easy and fast to apply and not clumpy is waterproof and it stays put all day. Mine is very black but it is more soft black in colour it looks great and is good value for money.
