Maybelline Define-a-lash Mascara Review

My eyelashes are quite long so I look for a product that is going to make them stand out and this mascara does just that! It makes it really easy to get into the corners of your eyes to get every last lash and and spreads them out so I look like I have thick lashes!

I am really impressed with this mascara. Its packaging is really nice it comes in a pretty metallic pink tube. It has a a good rubber wand for applying the mascara. It is really easy to apply and makes my lashes look really long. I can also apply lots of layers of this mascara without it getting clumpy. Its also really easy to remove. Overall I am very happy with this mascara.

I've had this mascara for a while now and its not something I always reach out for.. I don't hate it, I just don't like it either.. It just doesn't work that well for me, it doesn't make my lashes stand out, they do look darker but they're not WOW LOOK AT HER LASHES lol.. When I use this mascara I feel like my lashes are quite heavy? Kinda weird.. :o

Its OKAY for me, I will reach out for it every now and then when I run out of my fave but for now it can hang out at the back of my collection :)

Maybelline does a great economical mascara to suit every lash concern. I already have dark lashes so my main goal is adding length and volume, so this mascara seemed like the perfect choice. Even though this one technically failed on one of its main claims - to provide zero-clump length, it did a good job at adding volume to my lashes. It served as a good daily mascara - applying just one coat on my top lashes really extended them and opened up my eyes, and the clumps were not overly noticeable. The brush allowed me to reach every little lash right from the base, and always came out of the tube with the right amount of product. I didn’t experience any flaking, removable was normal, and it didn’t irritate my eyes - it definitely lived up to my expectations of Maybelline mascara. If it had done a better job of separating and defining my lashes, rather than just volumising them, it would have been a definite re-buy, but I will probably keep searching for a mascara that can do both.

I am happy using this mascara for day wear. It difines and shows off your eyelash length but I didnt think it made them look thicker. It dosent clump which is a definite bonus and comes off easily with eye makeup remover. For thicker,more lusious lashes I have another mascara but on the whole, I like this one and enjoy using it.

It definitely defines my lashes and separates them evenly. The formula is nice, not drying and doesn't clump in the bottle. I can apply it in the morning without needing to touch up if . It doesn't leave any fall out under or around my eyes. This is a great mascara for a very decent price.

Again love the packaging on this and the brush on the inside which is kinda more like little nodules rather than "brushes"

I found this formula great for me and my lashes, I wear it all day and get no fall out.

This is my "work" mascara lengthens and defines just enough however it is not my mascara of choice when going for a going out look.

I found this mascara great. For me, this product did define my lashes and provide me with the length that I love. The brush is a great length and size making it even easier to apply the mascara. I found the formula a little on the dry side but despite this, I'm definitely going to re purchase!

This mascara is my all time favourite. I have used others, but always come back to this one as I find it heaps better than any other. This mascara does exactly what it says, it defines and doesn't clump. Every time I apply, the formula goes on smoothly from top to bottom, separating lashes and lengthening them. This mascara is also great to build up, and I usually put a second coat on to darken and lengthen lashes more. Overall this is a very easy mascara to use, with a great formula that glides on with no problems. I couldn't recommend this more.

When this product first came out - (the green one) i Loved it. That was when i was starting out in makeup though so was impressed, however having used most of the others available this one falls somewhere in the lower half of the heap. Very natural looking mascara, just blackens your natural lashes. I didnt see any 'wow' factor, thickening, length or anything like that. I ended up finishing mine off using an old lancome hypnose wand that i had cleaned off as the formula itself isnt bad.
