Maybelline Define-a-lash Mascara Review

If you want a simple, frills free non-dramatic mascara, this is the one for you. I had never intended to purchase this mascara, however I got it sent to me as a free sample and I was actually pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. I would re-purchase, however I tend to be more big-and-bold with my lashes. But this is great for those days when you want a no-make up make up look.

I didn't purchase this myself, got given it as a gift. I like it for my bottom lashes as the wand is smaller than my go to mascara (falsies). i dont like the look of it on my top lashes as it doesn give me any volume or length. which is what i look for in a mascara

I love this mascara if I'm going for a more natural look, it doesn't clump up and it goes on very easily. It doesn't make my eyelashes stuck together and it just looks very nice and fresh. I use this with one of my Clinique mascaras to give more volume since the Maybelline mascara is a lengthening mascara rather than for volume.

This mascara is ultimate i love it. was given to me and i will use nothing else! doesnt clump or go yuck, it makes my eyelashes look longer and all in all looks great i reckon :)

If you are someone who likes natural makeup or is still at high school I would definitely recommend this mascara. Its gives a really nice natural defined lash look, but doesnt give much volume and drama which is 100% fine if thats what you are looking for. But for me, I like bold defined dramaful lashes hence why it isnt for me.

This mascara does exactly what it claims. Clump free defined mascara. If you are wanting a mascara that colours your eyelashes, does not volumise or thicken then this is for you.

This mascara isn't the worst mascara i've ever used, but it's not one I would repurchase. It doesn't clump, and it does define lashes in the sense it makes them darker. But what I look for in a mascara is full volume, and the appearance of longer lashes. Even though this product claims to do both, I didn't get either.

At the moment I am using this mascara and I have no complaints it goes on easily and nearly smuedges throughout the day I like the fact that it doest clump up or take much to make my lashes darker would consider buying it again

Not the greatest, but definitely not the worst. It doesn't clump, it darkens lashes and the result is nice. However, it does not add volume, does not make my lashes look noticeably longer and is not the best Maybelline mascara I have used.

All in all, I am happy with it in the sense that it was a freebie - I would probably be slightly disappointed had I had to pay for it. The brush is nice and small so it is easier to coat all lashes and it is fine to use as an everyday mascara for more natural looking makeup.
