Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara - Washable

I saw this mascara on an ad online and knew I had to try it! It's called sky high and it definitely lives up to its name. I love the packaging of this mascara it's really pretty and the words pop out which also makes it easier to grip on to when opening and applying to my lashes. The wand is quite flexible which made it great when applying and the small bristles work like magic to lengthen my lashes, I couldn't believe how much longer they looked afterwards. I found there wasn't alot of product on the wand which was great because it didn't get all messy like some mascaras do but I had to do quite a few coats just to get a bit of volume. If you want the length on you lashes this is the mascara to buy but not really if you want alot of volume. Overall it's a good mascara though, gentle on your eyes and easy to remove.

But when I do, this could well be the exception to the rule. This has a very well sized generous cylindrical shape, and the addition if the raised Sky High branding is a great touch, it adds a tactile element to using makeup, and that is a rare detail most manufacturers do not think of (and it is easy to locate in the makeup bag first thing in the morning when you are tired). When the wand is pulled out from the base it comes out cleanly and there is no excess on the tip of the wand nor on the stopper, so this reduces wastage, I appreciated the absence of the chemical smell that can quite often come with mascaras, so this was a tick for me as well. The wing tipped silicone end was good for application and the smaller end handy for the outer lashes, I wear my mascara over primer and had no fallout during the day, colour payoff was good. I did not have to bring out The Separator (see below tip) I like my lashes to be well defined and separated, this does the trick nicely. The click when putting the wand back in and closing is another really thoughtful touch, well done Maybelline. I wouldn't say this made my lashes any longer but they were well defined and removal is not too bad, only slight panda eye after a shower, but if you are after a solid go-to black mascara this is it

Was really excited to try out this mascara and have been using this for the past few days now and I must say.... this is wow. Formula has a nice consistency and it is really dark. The bristles are short which is something that I prefer as it is a lot easier for me to get to the roots of the lashes and it grabs on really well. Loved the length it gave my lashes which opened up my eyes and made them look larger. This mascara did not smudge on me and I used it on my upper and lower lashes. Impressed that it actually lasted really well all day and kept the length with no fall outs. Removing this was really easy, I was able to get this out with my regular foaming face wash without any hard rubbing.

Great packaging, mess free application and easy to clean off. Will highly recommend this to everyone who wants great sky high lengths for their lashes. Thank you BR for introducing me to maybelline lash sensational sky high mascara. Found a new favorite mascara.

Very attractive packaging, I love the rose colour that they’ve gone with, however with all the embossed writing on the side it does make it rather bulky, so if you’re after a slimline mascara to fit into your portable make-up bag, this might make you think twice.

After the current mascara I’ve been using recently, I was surprised at the length and slimness of the wand, however it proved good at applying the product and separation of lashes. Two coats did me and I was really happy with the results and the thickening effect it gave. It lasted all day with no flaking or clumping, and easy to remove in the evening since I opted for the non-waterproof version.

Would I recommend and purchase? Yes, yes I would

My daughter was raving about this new mascara on tiktok so I checked it out and the reviews looked impressive. So when it was on the shop shelves I had to buy it and of course I bought one for my daughter too. We both love it!

It comes in a pretty sleek tube with embossing which makes it easier to hold. The flexi brush is fantastic and makes application so much easier for getting right to the base of your lashes for optimal lift. This mascara does it all for me separates, provides great length, holds the curl (all day), easy to remove, natural looking volume and does not smudge at all (bye bye panda eyes). This mascara gives an almost false lash look without looking over the top and it has no scent to it.

My lashes have never looked this good and will definitely continue to buy this.

This mascara certainly delivers on its promise of adding length, I don't think I've ever seen my lashes so long! I didn't see a single clump, as promised it didn't smudge or flake, and heck - I even managed to poke myself in the eye with it and it didn't burn like my usual mascara! I was apprehensive when I saw the thin, long brush but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It allowed me to apply the product easily without making a mess. It also removed well using my regular facewash, no makeup remover required. My only gripe is that I don't really think it gave me as much volume as my usual mascara.

Love love love this Mascara, my 16yr old Daughter bought it for me as part of my Mother’s Day gift..The small brush is also great for making sure you get every strand of your eyelashes, they also come out very fine looking with no clumps!

This is the perfect everyday mascara for days when you need some on but want it to come off easily at the end of the day - ideal for work! It has a great flexible wand which makes it really easy to apply, it works great for contact lens wearers like myself and doesn't leave you with the dreaded panda eyes! Definitely recommend - my new go to everyday affordable mascara.

I was so excited after reading all the amazing reviews on here but this mascara hasn’t wowed me. I love the price, the packaging and the fact that it doesn’t smudge at all. It just wasn’t what I was hoping for, it does separate and coat even the tiniest lashes but there was no length or volume. I have fairly sparse lashes so I really did appreciate the fact that the wand grabbed onto the smallest almost invisible lashes. I wasn’t expecting volume but definitely length and my lashes aren’t short (just sparse). While this works beautifully for some it just wasn’t for me unfortunately. I’ll use the rest of the tube up but won’t be repurchasing it.
