For a really subtle look, this palette is perfect. You’ll need to really build layer upon layer If you want a more vibrant look. If used with a good primer then the eyeshadow will certainly last all day without budging, so pretty good on that front. The size of the palette is really handy for keeping in your handbag if you prefer a touch up or apply your makeup on the go. For $32 I’m not super impressed, but luckily the palette will last ages and ages so no need to restock very often.

Loved the colours in the quad also the application steps at the back is very helpful for all eye shadow applications. I loved the smokey effect yet it gave a neutral look and i can wear it everyday. However, it was not as pigmented as i would've liked it.
Tips: Use an eye shadow base or primer
I found the pigmentation quite effective, however the eyeshadow tended to have a chalk like texture and was likely to crease.
I got this from a gift with purchase. I found it not as successful as other Revlon eyeshadows I have used which was a bit disappointing and found that the colours were quite powdery and lacked pigmentation particularly the dark brown (this was the quad above) Having said that I have found with these quads that some colours last/apply better than others so it is a shame about the lack of consistency.
We got this free when we bought a whole lot of Revlon in bulk for the purposes of ball make up at work. Feeling the texture it is fairly silky but not the best some seem a little chalky but not bad the pigmentation is not very good though if you want something subtle then this is good for beginners the fact that two are bigger than the other two in this quad is a bit weird the applicator is so so your own brushes will work better how long the colour lasts is not true to claim really unless you have the right skin texture and wear primer underneath. Blending is easy enough but for the price and only four shadows I do not think I would buy more of them the brown in the picture above could double as a brow definer. Nothing huge to rave about but not bad.
Perfect neutral palette to take on the go. I like to through these minis in to my handbag, for travelling or keep in my desk at work. Pigmentation is not the best and will need to be built up.
I have two of these quads enchanted (pink & green shades) and Serene (light and dark blues). Nearly all of the colours in both quads have really bad pigmentation. As soon as you put them on your lids the disappear and you can't see them.
a few of the darker shades have an alright pigmentation but it is terrible as you cannot possibly blend them with the non-pigmented shades.
I'm very disappointed and these are fairly expensive for lower-end eyeshadows and they crap quality anyway
I have been using this Revlon Colourstay Eveshadow for a long time now, but not because they're necessarily awesome. I don't have a lot of spare cash, and so I wanted to get an eyeshadow that was a pretty good brand, and funnily enough I wanted it to last all day. The 'Colourstay' was essentially why I bought it. I have the neutral pallet - same colour as in the brand pic above I think.
I apply with a brush, not the ridiculous pad things it comes with. If I apply heaps, I can get some colour. Not tons of colour, but enough to go to work. Not enough for a night look in my opinion. So, does it last all day? I can only say 'kind of?'!! I have paid very careful attention over the last few days as I knew I'd be doing this review, and honestly by the end of the day my eyes are just a bit shimmery - that's it. Maybe my expectations are too high, but what I was hoping for wad my eyeshadow looking pretty much the same at the end of the day as the beginning, and that has not been my experience.
I will say that as advertised, it does not crease.
So, now that I'm at the end of the pallet, I will be moving onto eyeshadow with more pigment and staying powder.
Revlon will release new colours every now and then but so far I have found these eyeshadows easy to apply but not very pigmented. But this may be because I usually prefer neutral colours rather than the brighter palettes that are in the range. It lasts a decent amount of time but I don't know if up to 16 hours as I have never had it on that long
I like Revlon shadows, but I don’t love them. I seem to be a sucker for their colours, as I own a few quads, but I usually only use them for day time wear, when I want just a hint of colour - not when I want a vibrant, bright eye look. I find the colours quite transparent, and lack pigment. Applying a primer helps, but I need colours with a bit more depth and vibrancy.
