L'Oreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow Palette

I am a tight arse when it comes to eyeshadows, especially considering it is a part of my daily routine. This wee palette has lasted me clear over a year. It may be all smashed up and loose chunks might drop out everytime I open it up - but i still love the colours. A light dusting usually does me for everyday use - but for the weekends when extra effort is needed...no effort is really required. Love that the colours blend so well together.

I love eye shadow palettes and will give most a try. This one I really love. I use each of the 4 colours which pleases me, as a lot of the time you might not use them all, which seems a bit of a waste. I use an eye primer every time and I have tried different looks and have so much fun. It lasts a good 9-10 hours and comes off easily with my usual eye makeup remover

I wore these eyeshadows to a wedding. The dark colour really brought out my eyes. These colours are really nice for a smoky eye aswell. I used it in the shade 'Nude Lingerie' Would definally recommend this!

I bought this as I was drawn to the colours, in particular the sparkly palettes. The browns/neutrals I use for everyday wear but find one or two of the colours is suitable for this, not the whole palette. For evening wear the whole palette works well and I particularly like that a base colour is included, handy to highlight the upper eye area and shape your lids. The colour lasts for an evening out but I do find it is wearing a bit by the end of a full day. Easy to apply but the tiny applicator is silly, I use my own brushes. I have used L'Oreal Eyeshadow products for some time and have always found them to be very good - this one is no exception. I love the colour ranges but my favourite is the neutral tones and I like the smoky haze look i achieve with it. The colour stays on all day and the compact is a handy purse size.

I have two sets of these. A charcoal set and pinks. The combinations of colours match really well but I found the colour didn't stay all that well. Also the applicator didn't last very long so ended up using my own brushes instead. I also think four colours was too much. Three colours would be just fine. In saying that I just use three colours at a time.

I received my eyeshadow as a gift. My l'oreal paris eyeshadow is called Disco Smoking. It is true to the name because it does contain rather disco like colours in this palette, however I think if I did purchase this eyeshadow again I think I would probably purchase a more natural colour range personally. Disco Smoking includes 4 colours that have a slight shimmer one is black, the next colour is a deep purple, after that it is a dark pinky/purple then lastly a golden yellow colour. Sadly, the pink cracked shortly after I got it so now I can't really use all four colours together. Surprisingly the golden yellow is actually a really gorgeous colour, in the palette it doesn't look nice almost ugly to me but on skin the pigment is so pretty with the shimmers making it even nicer. I think it's a really smart idea how they have instructions on the back on what places to apply the eyeshadow and they have made it so easy to understand which eyeshadow colours correspond with which numbers. Meaning it would be great for beginners or young people only just getting into make up.

I purchased one of these to use for my sisters wedding, and I am so pleased I did! It has become a staple in my make up bag, very dependable and easy to wear. It applies really well and blends like a dream. It lasts all day and doesnt smudge or drop, it is creamy without creasing. They got it just right with this one!
