Pretty good

I had the honour to trail this product I’ve worn them twice now.

I found it difficult to get them out of the packaging they were really well attached and I had to be supper cautious not to damage them.

Applying the eyeliner was simple and attaching the lashes was a breeze. I didn’t notice the magnets and they didn’t feel heavy when wearing and they looked amazing ( I trailed the natural ones ) I feel I could wear these daily.

I did find they came unattached at a few points of the day and I looked abit silly had to reapply the liner to that spot and reattach. I’m not sure if I did something wrong but I think it’s defiantly worth noting.

All in all though I really loved them and I’ll be going out to purchase the dramatic lashes as I love a more full look. Wish me luck

Faster and easier than traditional lash systems..

I like the opacity of the liner formula. The brush tip makes it easy to create thin or thick lines. Unlike traditional lash glue where it's best to wait a while for it to get tacky, this formula is at it's stickiest from first application. I did a few test swipes on the back of my hand to see how long it stays sticky for, and it does stay sticky for quite a while. I would even go as far as to say that it never quite dries down completely. It was still about 10% sticky after about an hour, but that didn't prove to be an issue when wearing it. The lashes themselves seem to be quite short. Usually, I have to trim lashes just a tiny bit but these ones could have even been a little longer ideally (I do have big eyes though). Applying them was fairly easy. If you have to reposition the lash, it doesn't get messy or gloopy as I've experienced with normal lash glue. Being able to apply the liner adhesive first means you have more control over the placement so, in that respect, it was easier than normal lash glue. The only issue I had is that if you mess up applying the liner, it's a bit of a mission to clean up (you REALLY have to scrub to get it off!). My eyes did get itchy a couple of times throughout the day but I can not be sure if it was the lash glue or not. Unsurprisingly, if you go over the same area multiple times with the liner (filling in gaps or tidying up lines etc) it is sticky so it can tug ever so slightly, but not to the point that it's unworkable.

Other than that, they were light and comfortable to wear (I had the Natural set). The biggest downside is just removing the liner when you've finished wearing the lashes.

I would use it again and would be interested in picking up the other styles too.

Edit: after using this for a while longer, I've come to find that the eyeliner dries up really fast. So you really only get a few weeks to use the eyeliner. I still use the lashes but with regular lash glue now.

Tips: If you want a winged liner, I would recommend first applying your normal eyeliner and then applying the adhesive liner on top, only where you will apply the lashes.

Do one eye at a time so that you have maximum stickiness for best application.

Have a good eye makeup remover handy for removing the liner at the end of the day.

Stand Out Lashes

This is the lash product I've been looking for. The glue is applied through a pen that looks the same a liquid eyeliner and is so much easier to apply than conventional lash glue.

The advantage of glue over the magnetic lashes that had a similar eyeliner is that you can cut the glue lashes down to size and have them connect to the skin at every point.

As a way of applying lashes I am completely sold and will never go back to conventional lash glue again.

In terms of formula, it is still glue so don't expect it to feel quite like your eyeliner, for glue it easy to apply and remove. Plus in the pen it doesn't go everywhere. It is important to note that it is black, so mistakes will show. The glue also lasts all day and the lashes remain stick which is essential.

In terms of the lashes themselves, I really like the mink look, they are flattering and standout lashes without being crazy. Big fan.

All in all, it was a real winner for me.

Tips: Make the switch, it's worth it.

Glamorous Lashes

For the past week I have added these lashes to my full make up that I wear to work daily . I was excited to get on this trial .I’ll admit I’m not the greatest at eye lashes. I was keen to give it a try.

Packaging comes in a box with a plastic clear case . I brought this case daily to work with me just in case these lashes come off .

I did a patch test as I’m sensitive to most eye lash glues . It makes it difficult for me to wear lashes . I was happy when my skin was ok with these lashes . I tried them on they were a bit a long I cut them down to size .

I put the eye liner across the base of my lash line . I also put some on directly on the base of the lashes . It sticks on perfectly . I find the inner corner of the lashes detached after five hours wear . I will take the adhesive pen with me to work tommorow see if it improves . I use tweezers to put them on .

Their beautiful full lashes . I’ve had good comments and bad when they slowly come off during the day . I must say it is an extra step in my make up taking an extra ten minutes of my prep time before work .

Honestly I’m shocked that I have managed to pull lashes off at work especially with my one hour window to get ready . Today I did a full make up beat under 30 minutes with lashes . Even if I get it wrong I’m not afraid .

I would definitely buy more lashes from this brand to collect . I work a eight to nine hour day it wore reasonably well . I would recommend to give this a try .

Great value and very natural look

This is great! Gone are the days of single use eyelashes! I have applied these three times during the trial period and all three times they worked well and came off well. I'm not sure I'll manage 30 uses, but if I'm careful I suspect I'll get at least 15-20. The eyeliner itself comes in a gold tube with an applicator. It goes on easily and then you just pop the eyelashes on top of that. It's ridiculously easy! I trialled the "natural" line and I really liked the look of these eyelashes. I prefer my falsies to look reasonably natural rather than clearly false. If that's what you prefer, then the natural line is definitely for you. Overall, what a great product. Very easy to use and great to see a reusable false eyelash on the market!

Ruby-Grace (green box, length, #72)

Manicare's new Glam Xpress Adhesive Eyeliner and Lash Kits consists of an all-in-one hypoallergenic eyeliner pen (black eyeliner adhesive in a slim gold felt-tipped pen style packaging) and a set of false eyelashes.

The eyelashes come in three different styles: Ella-Rose, which has a crisscrossed mink effect lash style for a natural and soft appearance (Natural, blue box, #71).  Ruby-Grace lashes are more defined than Ella-Rose, with a multi-length mink effect style (Length, green box, #72).  Mia-Louise lashes add intensity with a voluminous mink effect lash style for a statement finish (Intense, pink box, #73).

I got Ruby-Grace, the black and green box of lengthening lashes.  According to the box they're quick, easy, reusable and cruelty free.  Simply shake the tube well, apply the eyeliner and press lashes on top for instant application ... It sounds too easy to be true!

I've been applying false eyelashes for years, so applying lashes is not something new for my, but this line and stick method is definitely different.  The Glam Xpress Adhesive Eyeliner is applied directly along the top of the natural lash line, just like a liquid eyeliner, and then the strip lashes are just pressed on for instant application.  There's no applying the glue to the lash strip, waiting for 30 seconds for it to go tacky, sticking the lashes to the eyelid, and then having to touch up liquid eyeliner to disguise any patchy glue sections.

I will admit that the first time I used this pen-style liquid eyeliner adhesive that it was a little tricky.  After checking the fit and trimming the lashes, if necessary, I applied the liquid adhesive.  The first eye (my left eye, I'm right-handed) went fine, it all worked perfectly, the lashes stuck and application was perfect on first try.  On the second eye (my right eye, which I usually battle to apply eyeliner to), I used the adhesive liner exactly as I would a liquid eyeliner, and I got a little too close to the inner corner of my eye, which promptly smudged and ran into my eye once I'd closed my eyelid and was trying to apply the lashes.  This adhesive stings!  I quickly rinsed my eye before touching up my make-up on that eyelid and trying again.  But now my eye was a little weepy, and the lashes wouldn't stick to the outer section of the eyeliner adhesive.  Eventually it stuck, and the lashes were comfortable to wear and stayed stuck all day.

The next day I tried the eyeliner adhesive with a different set of lashes.  They're a different brand with an extremely thin, almost invisible lash band.  I wanted to really test this adhesive out and see if it would work with different types of lashes that I own.  The thinner band was a little more tricky to stick onto the adhesive, as it was difficult to see where the band was against the black eyeliner, but once I'd lined it up, it stuck and stayed on all day.

Tips: (review continued ...) The only problem I did experience was that one of my nails got stuck in the adhesive while I was holding corner of the lashes down (I find the inner and outer corners don't always stick properly on the first press, and need to be held down a little longer before they are secure).  It didn't pull the lashes off or mess up the eyeliner adhesive, it just felt a little weird and really wasn't something I'd expected to happen.  This eyeliner works with heavier, feathered eyelashes, too.

What I really like about this product is that the adhesive goes on in a nice smooth line, there's not patchiness, and it looks exactly like liquid eyeliner.  It's flake free, smudge proof and waterproof. You can even wing it out, and once it's dried, the tackiness fades, so there's no need to use a separate eyeliner product if you're wearing false lashes.  The only time I ever managed to smudge this was while trying to apply the eyeliner adhesive to a weepy eye. The extra moisture mixed with the eyeliner and just ended up in one big panda-eyed mess.  Other than that, it's been fuss free!

Removal was easy, just peel off the lashes gently from the outer corner inwards, and place them back on the plastic tray to retain their curved shape.  They can be washed in warm soapy water if they've been used a few times, or wipe them with makeup remover.  The eyeliner adhesive came off my eyelids really easily with an oil cleanser (I use Palmers Cleansing Oil), and Maybelline's blue and white Eye & Lip Make-up Remover also works as well, although there was less eye rubbing involved with the oil cleanser.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this product.  It's really easy to use, the box states up to 30 uses, and it'll be interesting to see how long it actually lasts before the adhesive starts drying out in the pen (the recommended replacement date is six months after opening).

Glam Adhesive eyeliner and lash kit

False lashes has always been a thorn in my side when it comes to application. First there was the dreaded glue, wait till dry and stick kind. Never got them on properly. Either too much glue or too little or patches that don't stick at all. Then the magnetic ones came out making it a little easier.

Thus far these lashes as probably been the easiest to apply. Looks great, natural. Stays on all day and didn't remove any of my real lashes upon removal. Will buy again.

I really wanted it to work!

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this product.

Let’s start with the packaging. Love the design of the liner and great having a felt tip liner for easy application. The lashes themselves were nice, gently flared at the outer edges and not too over the top which I like. (I’m a fan of lashes that actually look like lashes).

Application: after having used the magnetic liner I assumed you would need a thick liner to ensure there was enough for the lashes to adhere to, so I went for a nice big ole winged liner. I felt the application of this liner was much smoother and easier than the magnetic liner so we were off to a great start. It did bleed a little bit but Not as much as the magnetised liner.

Alas, it all went a little down hill for me after the liner. It took a bit of adjusting to get the lashes applied correctly and I had to be careful not to smudge the black liner in the process as it was still quite tacky. One lash applied perfectly in the end, the other I had difficulty getting to stick down in the inner corner, I ended up adding extra liner to the inner corner to get the lash stuck down. I liked the look of the lashes on, they definitely added a little drama to my eye look. (Have uploaded a pic on the photo wall if you wanna see)

Off I went to work with my lashes secured. (Day 1 of lockdown but I work in a pharmacy so am in essential services). I was at work for about 20mins when alas, the lashes had popped out on both eyes. More so on my perfectly applied side than the side I had trouble with! I had to take the lashes off, there was no way to fix it quickly while working.

Unfortunately my liner looked a little messy once I took them off so I attempted to use a regular felt tip liner to correct the issue. The adhesive liner stays tacky which made this very difficult. Also, because the liner is so annoyingly sticky my hair kept getting stuck to it all day.

Now, I do have to say that when I test products I usually test them a couple of times just to make sure but I have only had a chance to test these once due to all the covid-19 stuff going on.

I’ll give them a go again when I don’t have to be anywhere (pharmacies are very busy right now so no isolation for me!) and maybe look up some tips and tricks with them to see if I can find a way to get them to adhere better. Honest opinion, I don’t think the adhesive is quite strong enough and I don’t think the liner drys down enough, I don’t imagine any tips or tricks would change that.

I will add any new findings to my review once I’ve had a chance to have another go with them.

Tips: If you are winging it out, I suggest using a regular liner pen for the wing and just use the adhesive liner along the lash line as it is quite sticky liner.

You Must Buy These

I am very much a novice with putting on eyelashes. The few times I have put these on have been extremely unsuccessful. For whatever reason I am not very successful when it comes to application. They just looked wrong on me. When I found out about the trial I knew I had to get on it. I have been wanting to try magnetic lashes for the longest time!

I cannot believe how easy these are to apply. All you have to do is trim them to size, use the eyeliner which acts as an anchor to attach the lashes to (it's the magnetic ingredients in the liner that the magnetics in the lashes stick to) then apply them. I do think if you are not used to using lashes or know properly how to apply lashes you might struggle a little, but if you start at the middle, then the ends you should be pretty successful.

They were extremely comfortable to use, it didn't even feel like I was wearing any, and they made my eyes look amazing. Even after the 6 hour mark they looked good.

Now that I know how easy it is to apply magnetic lashes, I know I will be wearing them a lot more now. I have seen reviews on other brands and their magnetic lashes that haven't been too good, but these ones, I really do not have one bad thing to say about them. Well, only that I wish I had tried them sooner!!!

Tips: None really although you need tips on how to apply these, check out their videos on their YouTube Channel

Love the lashes

It felt more natural applying the eyeliner but I found you need a good layer to ensure the lashes actually 'stick', end result was good there was a little lifting at the ends, not sure if that's because i haven't applied lashes my self much or the eyeliner itself but I will be using again!

Tips: Apply a really good layer of eyeliner
