Best Loose Eyeshadow Ever!

So, when I first got my hands on these I didn't know how to use loose eyeshadow at all, and boy was I scared - no, petrified! I got it in a baby blue, so I had to be extra careful with applying it not to look like some kind of eighties Madonna wannabe.

I dipped my brush into the pot and slowly lifted it out, the brush was bright blue, so do you blow a bit off or dab it on and hope for the best? I decided to just dab it on and get it over with. Here I went from Angelina Jolie to Cindy Lauper in less than 3 seconds... 2... 1...

But no, it wasn't that bad after all! It didn't leave me with blue flakes all over my face. It did fall onto my lashes a bit, but it was easily corrected with mascara.

The colour pigmentation of this is absolutely incredible, I have a few colours at the moment and I'm adding to my collection every couple of weeks. They have an astounding range of colours and it's really affordable.

The pots are a little smaller than I thought it would be, but there's ample product in them. They are all shimmers though (well, I haven't found matte ones yet).

They also don't blend as well as pressed eyeshadow, but you definitely won't be disappointed. I love using these in conjunction with my normal eyeshadows and they last really long.

To everyone who's still sceptical about using loose shadow I'd say if you don't try it you will never know.

Tips: Just dab it onto your eyes, if you try to swipe it on you swipe away the colour. A primer helps keep it in place if you don't want to use other shadows with it.

Ooh, this sounds so nice! I've never tried loose shadows before, but I'm definitely keen to. Adding this to my (sadly ever-expanding) wishlist. Great review! x

Very good for beginners!

I bought my sister two of these for her to try and experiment with before buying more higher end stuff (inglot pigments) and I was surprised by the quality of them. They are a good cheaper alternative but they aren't at the quality of dealer stuff.

Tips: Be careful of where you are applying and of fallout (don't use too much or there will be fallout throughout the wearing of them
