I was lucky enough to nab these in the last vault and am really pleased I did.
They both had lovely long brush handles which I really liked, made them nice and easy to use and the bristles were beautiful and soft and fluffy.
I am not a huge eyeshadow wearer or very clever when it comes to eyeshadow application I’m a bit more of a one colour on the lid and one colour used as a smokey eyeliner type of girl but these worked perfectly with my powder eyeshadows.
They were easy to use, picked up a good amount of eyeshadow without swallowing it and made application and blending easy.
At this price I would definitely purchase these myself and recommend to others to try.
I managed to pick these brushes up in the recent vault (hank you BR!). I'd been curious about these since I first heard of the brand but didn't want to pay $14.95 for 2 brushes.
These brushes are insanely soft. I am not 100% sure if they are synthetic but the way they perform makes me think they are. One brush is a medium sized dome brush that is great for blending and the other is a semi domed, flat eyeshadow packing brush.
The handles for these are a good length and the brushes aren't heavy. I personally prefer something a little heavier. They washed with ease and I haven't had any shedding from them whatsoever.
Because I am spoiled with Zoeva brushes, I find these average. They don't pick up eyeshadow as much as my Zoeva brushes (which are a blend of synthetic and animal hair, so I wonder if that is why?). This isn't a massive issue, it just means that I have to dip my brush into my shadows more than once. I think this is great for people that aren't too confident with eyeshadow as it reduces the risk of applying too much shadow at once.
The blending brush is a decent size and is pretty good at softening and blending out any harsh edges. The bristles are a good length but I wish they were slightly more dense as I have to work a little harder at blending with this.
Overall I think they are ok brushes. They aren't horrible but they aren't the best I've used either. For the price I would honestly rather get some of ELFs studio line brushes. In my opinion they are around the same kind of quality and perform similarly, but the ELF ones are a fraction of the price.
