Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I have been using the Colgate Optic White toothpaste for the last month, for twice a day as the instructions stated. Taking a photo of my teeth at the beginning has helped me to keep a track of the whitening process.

For starters I didn’t have highly stained teeth to begin with but having being given a free coupon for a full size tube via email marketing I couldn’t resist it.

The packaging is quite appealing in its metallic red coat with its easy to squeeze, almost thin feeling plastic tube that allows the right amount out onto your toothbrush without any hassle. Opening and closing is a breeze with the click down lid that actually stays shut once closed, its flat top means it’s happy to stand upside down on the bathroom vanity, without falling over or being easily knocked off.

As with all good toothpastes the pleasant scent of fresh mint is highly detectable and the formula itself is quite thick which is excellent for getting it onto the brush then your teeth without the paste running off down your top, this also allows you to be quicker as it doesn’t make excess foam so it’s less clean up. Another thing I noted while using this was that normally toothpaste when it foams around my mouth it can cause the skin in that area to become a bit sensitive and tingle as the paste site on it, I never had this sensation with this toothpaste which was a bit of a surprise considering its a whitening toothpaste and people generally label these as being harsh.

It didn’t leave a nasty taste in my mouth and left a nice minty linger for most of the day. Now with the verdict of the whitening, like I said my teeth were not horribly stained to begin with but after 4-5 weeks, which is how long the whole tube lasted me, I found that it had made my teeth a few shades whiter, very bright in fact, with no stains on the edges and that included the not in visible smile teeth.

I have sensitive teeth and normally use a brand that is designed for that purpose, but found that even though this is whitening toothpaste it hasn’t aggravated my sensitivity, I encountered no painful flare ups or sore gums which I have had in the past with other brands. Very impressed with this toothpaste to be whitening but gentle, I don’t think I need to use continually as my teeth aren’t so bad but maybe as a treatment once or twice a year to keep them looking bright might be ideal for me.

I had been wanting to try this for a while before I had brought it due to those ads with the girl in different outfits brushing her teeth. When I finally got round to buying it I wish I got it sooner as my teeth felt so clean. I feel like I won't be changing toothpaste anytime soon. everytime I have to use someone else's it just tastes like the weak kids products. The optic white has whitened my teeth and makes them feel properly cleaned.

I got this toothpaste just for a change as I had been religiously repurchasing White Glo for a few years, and I've found a worthy rival for my usual toothpaste in optic white! Now this toothpaste is quite pricey in comparison to my regular white glo, but I beleive that it is justified in that it is much gentler and much more pleasant tasting.

My teeth were already relatively white to begin with and I haven't noticed them appearing any whiter than usual with this toothpaste, although it's certainly maintained the whiteness of my teeth and I honestly didn't expect them to get any whiter than they already were.

This is the best tasting toothpaste i've ever used, typically minty but very mild. It's a lot less foamy and has a thinner consistency than most other toothpastes, and feels very gentle but effective and leaves me with a really clean feeling. I've noticed that i'm brushing my teeth less often since using this toothpaste as I tend to get excessive with brushing my teeth, but my teeth feel clean for longer with this.

The pretty colored ruby red tube is softer and more flexible than other ones so you can easily squeeze every last bit out, and has a large flat top so it can stand up vertically.

This toothpaste has impressed me for sure and I think that i'll stick with it even though it is damn near twice the price of my usual one, it stands out to me as being quite delightful as far as toothpaste goes.

Just started using this toothpaste and i flippen love it. You can notice a massive difference in my teeth. Definitely whitens your teeth and makes them feel amazing. Has an amazing taste. Love it >~<

This toothpaste has been a steady favourite for a few years now and I just love it. It is a little more expensive than other toothpastes at the supermarket but it does actually whiten your teeth a bit I have noticed. Plus it tastes great and leaves you with fresh breath and clean teeth like a toothpaste should!

I have been using this product for about 2 years now!! It is well worth the price and has helped my coffee stained teeth. I wouldn’t look back if change brands at all!!

I've tried other whitening treatments and had sensitivity and little/no results. This is actually very good! I definitely noticed a difference in a month, not Hollywood white, but definitely whiter, and I didn't have any problems with sensitivity. It tastes different from normal toothpaste, but I got used to that quickly, and as a bonus it somehow makes my teeth feel cleaner.
