CeraVe Moisturising Cream

I’ve been using this moisturiser on my arms mainly as they are quite dry and it works really really well. It doesn’t leave a greasy barrier and makes them super smooth and hydrated all day. I’ve noticed a better texture to my skin since using it. Totally recommend!

I'd have to say that I was a wee bit skeptical when I received the moisturizing cream to try. I've become a bit of a skincare snob recently and I was dubious about putting the cream on my face which is not overly dry. My first impression of this brand was that it was for people with eczema or skin conditions and probably wasn't for me. But I smoothed it on my dry legs and straight away was impressed with the texture. It felt smooth, absorbed immediately and didn't have a strong scent. The next morning my legs felt lovely. I was so impressed by the feel of the cream I decided to throw caution to the wind and apply some as a night cream to my face. I can honestly say that my skin has never looked so good after just one week of nightly application! My skin is smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy. I absolutely love it!! And the price is so good - really great value with the large size tube you get. I feel bad for doubting this cream - amazing!!

I first saw Cerave on Tiktok and have been desperate to try it since. It sounded ideal for my skin - which is sensitive. I am pleased to say it is as good as it sounds. It applies nicely, and doesn't leave a greasy shine or take ages to 'soak in'. While it is nice to have a fruity or floral-smelling product, I do prefer a non-fragrenced option as it means fewer ingredients to irritate my skin. The packaging is basic - nothing fancy, just like The ordinary and Cetapahil - the product speaks for itself and doesn't need fancy/attractive packaging to convince people to pick it up off the shelf.

Working shifts in the hospitals and community and having to wash and sanitise my hands a lot they are in need of some care in between.

I am having to wash and sanitise pre and post patient contact and can see 15+ people in a shift so they are getting washed and worn out. Under my ring my skin was peeling so I had to start using something to return moisture to my skin. I had a few supermarket items but they didn't do a lot then I got to try this. I am not the only one loving it, I shared it around and they also loved it.

It's amazing. Very comparable to an more expensive one I have tried in the past. Its been great for using between washes without being greasy.

It moisturises without accumulating on skin it softens and smoothes skin without sitting on top and feeling heavy or transferring.

It isn't scented of coloured and has been amazing on my sensitive and currently dry skin. Its a great size not a little tube so you get a lot in the tube so will last a long time and slots easily into my hospital bag.

Even used a little on my lips and has been great.

I’ve been using this cream for almost two weeks and I have to admit it might be a new favourite. It’s very gentle on my sensitive skin being fragrance-free, has a lovely luxurious application and leaves little to no residue so no sticky hands or face. My skin looks and feels more hydrated in general after using this, so for me it ticks all of the boxes. I would highly recommend this particularly for sensitive, normal to dry skin types and will definitely purchase again.

I must admit CeraVe weren't a brand I was aware of until this trial team - now I think I need to try al of the products

First opinions: It looks very clinical / pharmacist brand. Sort of prescription product-esque. It's not the kind of branding I'd gravitate to unless I was shopping for an ailment to be honest!

But never judge a book by its cover right? What's inside definitely counts with this product - it is a fantastic, dare I say it, unmatched moisturising cream!

The cream is thick and rich and cooling and soothing and allllllllll of the things you want a cream for very dry skin to be!

It's fragrance-free, big tick for me. I used this on my dry legs, feet, knees, elbows and arms to noticeable improvement. My skin is no longer showing any signs of dryness and is super smooth.

I only needed to use this once to see marked improvment in my dry skin, but once a day use has really improved my skin - I'll be using this throughout winter that's for sure.

Colour me impressed!

Since using this product my skin has been really hydrated and soft. I don't think I could find one single area that's still a bit dry!

It has made my skin glow and look so healthy.

It says for face and body but personally this would be way to rich and heavy for my face.

It really is a case of a product doing what it sets out to do, and doing it really, really well!

I've had a look at the pricing on Chemist Warehouse - I can't believe it's so cheap!

So happy CeraVe finally came to NZ! I've always wanted to try it. As someone with pretty dry, sensitive skin, I'm always looking for simple, gentle moisturizers. This is my new favourite.

It's creamy and easy to apply. Quite thick but without being overly rich or hard to spread. For drier skin it's like a drink for your skin! I enjoyed this moisturizer on both face and body. It was particularly good for when I wanted to give my skin a break from using actives. It helps reset it, if that makes sense. It's gentle and calming.

One of the best things is that it doesn't leave a greasy residue, which is something I've found with other comparable creams. It absorbs really well.

The quality and feel of this product is also a lot nicer than other similarly priced creams.

The packaging is a nice big size, and the product lasts ages. The price is very reasonable as well, especially for how much you get. I like that it explains about ceramides anf hyaluronic acid etc on the packaging, it feels like it's well researched and contains helpful skin friendly ingredients.

This is definitely the most effective and calming moisturizer at this price point that I've used for my really dry skin. My skin feels less dry and flakey and more moisturized and happy since using this product. Definitely a total favourite.
