Black XS L'Exces by Paco Rabanne

wow wow, just stunning, everybody compliments this perfume, woody, slightly heady, and sweet florals all rolled into one beautiful scent.. i just love it , wish the bottles were bigger but ooh you get what you pay for, stunning, a definate keeper

I was gifted a 50ml of this fragrance for my 21st and I absolutely adore it.

I'm not great with explaining a fragrance but I definitely felt this was a night time fragrance. You know the one you put on before a dinner date or out for a few drinks with the girls? Yip, this is what I would always wear.

For myself i loved the floral scent you can definitely smell when spritzed on. It's not overpowering or a smell that would essentially put you off but rather subtle instead. Read above description if you would like the 'proper' description of notes :)

The longevity of this perfume is fantastic! When I first started wearing it I carried it around in my handbag just incase it wore off. But it was not needed! It stays on for several hours. Dulls down by the end of the day but is always left lingering on the skin.

One thing I love about this perfume is the price. Its affordable compared to some of the others on the market and there are different sizes. This is one of the perfumes I have asked for my 30th birthday! So that must be saying something if I love it all these years later :)

I got this in duty free and risked not smelling it first because I just loved the the bottle but it did more than impress me! I LOVE the smell. If you are after a night time bold and sexy smell this is for you. It is very strong so you dont need to use too much which is a bonus as it lasts longer.

Decided to pick this one up from chemist warehouse on a sale and since then I’ve gone through 3 bottles! My fiancé absolutely loves the smell of this on me and loves smelling it. It’s definitely a perfume to wear out on a date, night out, drinks or event. It is one of the only perfumes I own that actually keeps the scent strong (but not too strong) throughout the night/day. I find 3 sprits does the trick! It’s high end without the high end budget.

I bought this perfume when I was a teenager as the packaging attracted me and looked quite cool and rebelious.

I was pleasantly suprised by the perfume. Its sexy, spicy, musky and sweet all rolled into one. Even though I bought it as a teenager I certainly think it can be used by adults as well as its quite a mature scent. Its very bold and powerful so I think it should be worn on occasions where you want to make a statement.

I first discovered this perfume when a friend arrived back from Australia - to me it is definitely a statement perfume, it is quite strong so it pays not to be too heavy handed with it. The packaging I beautiful and the scent always gets a lot of compliements - Love love love paco rabanne perfumes

I was given this as a gift from someone travelling to NZ from Australia. She knew I wore Black XS by Paco Rabanne. I liked this version of Black XS but do prefer the ordinary Black XS For Her. The scent is sweet, strong and slightly musky and wears down nicely though it goes on strong. And although the base notes are vanilla and cashmere wood the floral notes of jasmine and rose add a floral finish that softens the spicy top notes. The packaging is solid and very cool. Loved the skull.

I first purchased Black XS a few years ago when I fell in love with the cute little bottle and the beautiful scent. The base note of Vanilla is what drew myself to purchasing this beauty, so I got it in the smallest bottle of 30ml at the time to see how it would last throughout the day, with the perfect size to go into my handbag. Now it is one that needs reapplying part way through the day for a refreshing scent, but not much is required.

Part way through the bottle, I noticed it went missing. Sadly, I thought I had misplaced it like I usually did or left it somewhere at my mum's place like I do everytime I'm visiting. To my surprise my mum took it! She loved it so much, she thought she would make it hers. Not worried at all I let her have it as she wasn't one to buy perfume for herself but re-purchased it for myself.

To this day I still love this perfume, and so does she. It's the perfect present for Mother's Day at a great price, plus now I don't have to take mine down when I go visit her.

This was my first 'signature' scent.

I came across it while duty free shopping a few years ago. Being as I was at the time, a bit of a rock chick, I was initially drawn to the appearance of the bottle/packaging. My fave colour is pink, and pink always looks good against black.

I've always been a sucker for anything vanilla, so I immediately loved the mix of candy-like sweetness and musky spice. It's a very sexy fragrance to wear.

I purchased the 50ml EDT for myself then and there, and the following 2 bottles I owned after that were both gifts.

I used to wear this everyday. I found the scent goes on quite strong, but after a while I couldn't notice it so much myself. I know from the compliments and comments of others though, that it was still detectable, and every now and then I would catch a hint of it.

I've since 'grown out' of this fragrance, and prefer softer, more floral fragrances. I think this scent is suited to an edgy, confident, younger woman.
