I bought this on sale, and it has pretty much been my go-to brow product since then. Although I actually prefer brow pencils, I thought a tinted brow gel was worth a try because I have long brow hairs that need fixing in place.
This brow product is a gel that comes in a 6ml plastic tube. The colour is a taupe brown, so a cool-toned light brown essentially. My natural hair colour is a cool-toned light brown/dark blonde, which I lighten to light blonde. The tone of this brow gel works very well for me, but may be too light for people with very dark hair.
It comes with a large mascara-style wand, which you use to sweep over your brows. The wand deposits colour, and the gel of the formula helps to keep the eyebrow hairs in place. Personally, I find the wand to be much too big. It is half the size of my brows, which makes it very easy to distribute too much product, making my brows look artificial and overdone. I often end up using the end of the brush instead of the side. I think they could get away with a much smaller wand.
Altogether, this brow product is pretty good. The colour is great and realistic. The gel sets your hairs into place, and your brows look enhanced and natural, but not artificial. I only wish this came with a separate spoolie, as I find it is better to comb the gel through to distribute the product more evenly after application.
Tips: Use a spoolie to comb the product through your brows after application for a more even distribution.
