I find this primer to be one of the best! It applies easily with a light scent which makes it a pleasant smell. It holds make up perfectly for about 8 hours.

Tips: Only apply a small amount. Be carefull not to use/waste to much at once.
I have used the Napoleon primer for several years now, and it so far is my favourite primer. It smooths your skin and adds moisture to your face, under your makeup, so your makeup lasts longer. A great product that I never do without.
Tips: Stock up when Farmers have a gift with purchase sale , to make the most of this expensive item, Napoleon have wonderful gifts.
I used this primer with my napoleon foundation & it gave me incredible lasting coverage with a flawless finish. absolutely love it! lasts for ages too
Tips: use a brush for the most even application
ME: "Primer, what's Primer" MUM: "Are you serious? You dont know what Primer is? You don't prime? Not to prime is a crime!".
Rewind 3 years ago, I had NO IDEA what Primer was. My mum introduced me to Primer. Her primer of choice? Napoleon Auto Pilot. Naturally, I invested in it to see what all the fuss was about. 3 years on - it has become apart of my everyday beauty routine. I absolutely love this primer. It fills in the fine lines which have recently "blessed" my face (I earnt them!) and big pores I have on my cheeks. It really does assist in creating a flawless finish, so much so - that the very first time I wore it, a friend was 'blown away' by how flawless my skin looked. I have and always will recommend this product - it is quite pricey, but trust me, a little goes a very long way. The wee bottle lasts FOREVER! Money well invested.
I've tried many primers on the market and this would have to be one of my absolute favourites.
With the packaging, whats not to love? A beautiful gold tube, that I love to look at pride of place on my dresser. It looks like an expensive primer, and it is. What I've found though, is the more expensive primers tend to be the best. This and Smashbox Photo finish primer are both amazing!
What's so amazing about this? Well, for starters it's great for my sensitive and slightly reactive skin. The formula is lovely, it's a white colour and easily absorbs into your skin. My dry skin feels nourished, hydrated and smooth.
This primer creates the perfect base for my foundation. I can't believe I went so many years without using a primer! It's such a necessity for me these days! Using this it really helps with the longetivity of my foundation. At the end of the day, my makeup still looks nice. This primer does what it says it will and more.
I totally agree with Napoleon how Says: āNot to Prime is a Crime!". If you haven't tried this primer, you should!
Five stars. I would definitely recommend this primer and won't hesitate to repurchase.
I needed a new primer and given the rave reviews on this primer I had to try it. Now I haven't used a lot of other primers before but this one is the best and longest wearing primer I have come across. This is my to go primer when I pull out my best and finest makeup. I can apply make makeup at around seven in the morning and my foundation isn't slipping around on my face till late afternoon. I have worked out with my makeup and this primer on and my foundation didn't move around as much as other primers. Of course if my hair gets in my face then there will be little streaks of foundation but other than that this primer does a fantastic job. It comes in this really nice gold tube that gives it a luxury feel, the downside is you can't really see how much you have left but since I like my products in dark or opaque packaging that doesn't really put me off. This primer doesn't really have a scent even though there is fragrance added on the ingredients list, it's just a plain unscented smell that sort reminds me a bit of Nivea products. It doesn't feel thick on my skin either which makes it comfortable to wear and doesn't take long to set. I find I don't need a lot to cover my face. I like that although this is supposed to function as a primer there are some soothing ingredients - yarrow extract, chamomile extract and vitamin E. I haven't tried many primers but this is a fairly reliable one for me and I will be repurchasing when I run out.
Tips: I am in the habit of applying primer while I do my eye makeup before I do the rest of my face. This gives most primers plenty of time to set and I don't mess up my face while I do my eyes. But primer doesn't take long to set so if you are in a hurry this is great option.
I used to use this stuff quite a bit a few years ago and I loved it. I'm not sure if it does much for helping my makeup last, but it certainly gave a nice smooth base for me to work with. Unfortunatly I no longer have a Napoleon counter near by and this is why I haven't repurchased in quite some time, but if I'm ever out of town and come across it I will be snapping it up. In the mean time, Farmers Invercargill please please please bring back the Napoleon counter!!!
I have tried a few primers and this is by far the best. It's light with a nice texture and smell keeps my make up fresh looking all day long
and I'm still not sure. Before this I had been using MACs prep and prime and one part of me still prefers it. However this review is about Napoleon's Auto Pilot!
When I purchased this product the sales lady told me I could use it as a moisturiser as well, I rolled my eyes and quietly walked away but she was right! This primer makes the skin lovely and soft and I found that it made my skin appear a little less red.
It's quite a thin consistency but spreads very well so you only need a small amount, which let's be honest for that price you want it to last a while!
It certainly did make my foundation look smooth and the pores seemed to disappear and as for longevity, my makeup lasts all day without a top up, FANTASTIC!
I think what makes me just a teeny tiny bit hesitant is the fact that unlike the MAC Prep and Prime it doesn't seem to sit as thick on the skin, now you might prefer that but I think for those wrinkles under the eyes the MAC filled in the lines better than the Napoleon.
I notice a significant difference in the health of my skin when I don' t use a primer. This product looks after my skin well and it smells beautiful. I have combination skin and I find it can work with me!
Tips: You don't need much!
