St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub Review

This is a necessity in my daily personal hygiene care haha - If I don't use this for a few days, my skin starts to show signs of blackheads and spots. I have been using this for about 5-6 years now and will be for many more whilst recommending my friends to use this product.

The micro-beads in this product are superheroes- they dig deep into your skin. While this may seem like a good thing it feels too harsh for the skin. I used this product for years, in awe at how soft my skin felt afterwards. I slowly began to realise this was just a rouse and it was damaging, drying and irritating my skin. I would leave the shower looking like I'd run a 20 km marathon, my skin was inflamed from being over worked. This product is great for a weekly- monthly (depending on your skin) clear out of deep skin to leave a blank canvas. I wouldn't recommend this daily for those with sensitive skin, I found it quite invasive. At the end of the day it depends how you like your skin!

I've never been a huge user of face scrubs etc but St Ives has to be my favourite from the ones I have tried. My skin always feels so fresh and soft when I use it and stays like that for ages! It's hard because some scrubs actually make your skin dry and patchy (depending on sensitivity) but I my face always feels fab after use. I use it when I'm in the shower so it's easier to wash all off.

I have used the apricot scrub on and off for years . As a teenager this scrub was my go to scrub / cleanser , it helped keep acne away and left my skin clear and so soft. I loved this scrub it was all I needed to use but as I've gotten older my skin has changed a lot and it doesn't seem to do the job the same as it use to .

I still believe this is a great scrub, for me I its awesome for getting rid of blackheads , as now I only use it around my nose and chin , it is a bit too harsh for the rest of my skin.

This is a nice gentle scrub, that doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. Leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh. It also smells great! The product lasts ages and is worth the money. This product definitely helps with dehydrated skin, i have areas of eczema where my skin has obvious dry patches on my face.. using the scrub has smoothed out my skin, and hydrated these areas making it less noticeable. I recommended!

I got given this product and loved it!! I love the Apricot smell. I love how when you are applying this product you can almost feel it working on your skin. It has quite a lot of exfoliation in it -so if you don't like that scratchy feeling then this is probably not for you. This product is quite thick and lasts quite awhile! It is a screw lid and would be easier if it had a flip back type lid. This product does what it says it will do! You are left with soft clean skin!!

I've been using this for years. It is reasonably priced and is available in most supermarkets and chemist.It delivers on its promise to invigorate your skin.It does not need to be used daily though. I usually team it up with another product and will use it mostly at night to give my face a good thorough clean.

I normally don't like facial scrubs but i love this one. Its nice and gentle on my face compared to other scrubs which leave it feeling raw and dry. I did however have to use alot of it each time and the bottle is quite small. I don't think I could bring myself to spend $40 on something that would last me 2 week max.

I used this product twice and am really against it, its far too rough for skin on the face, it made my skin very itchy and very red, I was only using light circular hand motions. When I started beauty school it was the first product we were told to avoid!

I used to purchase this fairly often years ago couldn't remember why I stopped buying it, decided to give it another go after spotting a good special on it. I soon remembered why I stopped buying this, it's much too rough to use as an every day cleanser. I was thinking this would replace my every day cleanser but I also need something gentler to alternate between using the apricot scrub every 2-3 days. If I use this scrub 2-3 days in a row it leaves my face feeling a little raw as it is quite good at taking the skin off.

This scrub is a thick cream with little bits of shell through it that looks like sand, very coarse very effective. I rub this stuff over my face for around 30 seconds before washing off and it leaves my face feeling sooo soft & smooth to touch. The way this scrub makes my skin feel to the touch reminds me a lot of the L'oreal magic blur cream, velvety. This scrub has a light natural apricot scent, delivers a thorough clean, and brightens the complexion. A little of this product goes a long way, the 150ml tube lasts for ages which makes it value for money.

I've successfully rekindled a happy relationship with this product and will most likely be replacing.
