Was gifted this from my sister. Simple white tube with a pop of yellow on the label and the Mascara wand itself. The wand doesn't look anything groundbreaking. However, this performs really well. 2x coats is my preferred why to use this for best curl results. Lasts almost all through my work day. I can't complain.
Not a top fav, but definitely a decent product. Prefer other brands for mascaras, won't be repurchasing.
I scored this mascara from the vault, and I like it. Its not my all time favourite, as I like a longer looking lash, but this makes my eyelashes look thick and nicely curled. I quite like the think curved wand, and find it easy to use, but think I prefer the smaller ones that you can get a bit more precision with.
I found this easy to remove, which is a big bonus, and would probably be a reason I would repurchase alone. I also didnt have any smudging, and no wee dry bits falling off during the day!
I’ve only worn this twice but can confidently say it’s a decent mascara. It lengthens but I’ve found I do need at least 2 coats. It’s not the most voluminous mascara but pretty nonetheless. I love dramatic lashes and while this didn’t blow me away it’s definitely one I’ll use again. I’ve found most non waterproof mascaras smudge on me and this did but very minimally and only because my eye was watering. The wand is slightly curved and easy to use and the packaging is very nice, solid and comfortable to hold during application. Maybelline really knows how to do mascara.
I was lucky to be picked for a BR trial of this product. The product does exactly what it says it does, your lashes are big and bouncy. My lashes are quite long and nicely curled to begin with but while wearing this mascara I was asked if I was wearing false lashes and not believed when I said no. The mascara is easy to apply and the brush works well. The mascara was easy to remove with a makeup remover wipe. The packaging is basic and plastic but durable and good for something like keeping in your gym bag. My only gripe with this product is that the end of the tube is not flat so I can’t stand it upright when I’m applying the product. For some reason I didn’t want to lay it on its side without the lid on.
Really nice, super black and nice and thickening. I love the wand as it’s not clump city. Doesn’t give me the lengthiest lashes but I would use for a bold eye look.
The first impression when I saw “Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara, Blackest Black”: Wow! It is cute and fresh look! The Presentation: The packaging is beautiful in White & Yellow rounded tube design. The mascara when I try it on: I tried one coat and I noticed that my eyelashes become a bit curly——thanks for the special designed brush. This is standard size curved bristle and it is easy for me to apply mascara on. It says “memory-curl formula” on the product and this made me feel exited. My habit is to use an eyelash curler before applying mascara, and with “Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara”, seems I can save the “eyelash curler”:)) The effect: I noticed that “Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara” not only not clump together on my eyelashes, but also my eyelashes looked natural, thickened yet flake-free. I am Asian and my eyelashes are short and straight. I like to use up to two coats of mascara because I enjoy the natural look ( not very thick and not very dark). The longevity of this mascara: It is quite long lasting on my eyelashes. I work 9.5 hours a day and after work I can see the mascara are still stayed on my eyelashes. I was very curious about the “washable mascara” feature that it says on the packaging. So I tried just use face wash to see if it really work like that. The outcome was: some of the mascara were still attached on my eyelashes and I had to use eye make-up remover to clean off the remaining mascara. Overall: This is a very nice mascara on the go. It combines “curler”and “mascara” for an easy use. The curl N bounce effect is amazing. The outlook of the product is pleasant. And the price of this product is very affordable.
Tips: My tips: # I never put mascara on my under eyes because it is not easy to maintain a clean look all day. # For the short eyelashes ladies: do not try too many coats otherwise your eyelashes will look too thick and the mascara might clump together easily. # I suggest that you had better use “eye makeup up remover” first before you wash your face.
At first glance, the packaging makes this mascara look like a little bluetooth speaker, however the indented panelling makes it very easy to hold. I am OBSESED with the wand. The arched brush of the wand makes it very easy to cleanly and precisely apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes, and helps easily build up length. The wand is also quite thin so its super easy to get to the outer edge lashes. The bristles have an interesting spiral alignment, which keeps the lashes separated despite how many coats you apply. In terms of lash length and intensity, I was fairly impressed. Personally I prefer more natural looking lashes for everyday wear, so this product was perfect for that. It kept the lashes separated, added length and didn't pack on with product so the overall look was very natural. It doesn't dry instantly either so you can build up more volume and length fairly easily. Wearability was quite good, however there was a small amount of product buildup under my lower lashes after a couple of hours. The lashes retained their length for several hours though which was great and stood up to a lot laughing tears. Overall, I really loved this product, and will be adding this to my every day routine.
Tips: Use the curved wand brush to your advantage to build up length to add shape you your lashes.
This mascara comes is called ‘Curl Bounce’ which is a little confusing - it’s not clear what effect that would have on your lashes.
It comes in a white tube which looks a bit like a tampon. The brush is curved so if you hold t correctly, it follows the curve of your upper lashes and encourages separation and even distribution of the mascara.
The formulation is lovely and smooth in its application, and one application was enough to see separated lashes without clumps.
The only annoying thing about using this mascara was having to adjust how I held the applicator to make use of the curved brush - just a tiny bit more effort than than a non-curved brush which you can use on any side/angle. I was also not sure how best to use the curved wand on bottom lashes, but they looked fine
The tube closes with a satisfying click. The mascara still looked very good at the end of the day. Would recommend.
I've always been a Maybelline gal for Mascara but was a lil skeptical going in to this trial about it definitely curling my lashes. BUT WOW! I love the curl it gives to them and definitely means I won't need a lash curler so less time to get ready :)
I love that its still waterproof & clump free. It stayed on all day with no probs even in the crazy weather we had last few days.
I think this will be the go to in my makeup bag over the others now.
Tips: I find that like my other waterproof mascara this comes off easily when I use Micellar water over just a wet face cloth ;)
This has actually become a favorite of mine, i really like the look it gives after two coats, it does what is states and ill be buying once im out for sure,
