I own the lipstick Creme Cup, which is a creme sheen finish, and to be honest, I was actually quite disappointed. These lipsticks are so hyped everywhere, and I actually can not see why. I think the formular is quite thick and not very comfortable to wear. Furthermore i do not think these are very long lasting. According to me, they are too expensive. You do not get what you pay for.

Tips: Wear a gloss on top for a smoother feeling.
I bought my first mac lipstic the other day in the shade viva glam 2. It is a nude shade and looked really good on my compelxion, the aplication is very smooth and pigmented. I got a lip pencil to go with the lipstick so its long wearing and doesnt transfer when i eat which is a first for any lipsticks i own. Im very happy with the quality for the price and look forward to buying more shades
Tips: Use a lip pencil underneath for extra long wear
Moisturise lips before applying if using a matte finish lipstick to stop your lips from from drying.
Easy review! My first lipstick is Mac's lady bug which is a red and in their lustre range. great pigmentation, decent lasting power, Fab colour would be a staple red for all year round. Perfect product to spend a little extra money on :)
Love mac lipstick!!! Stays on for a good while.doesn't smear as much! Very pretty shades as well. Also very affordable prices .
I have a few Mac lipsticks and all of them are great. My most used lippy colour would be "Heroine" made famous by our very own Lorde which is a bright violet purple, it easily vamps up any make up look. I've found the application to be quite creamy but dries matte.
I've always thought the price of Mac lipsticks are a bit of a stretch for what they are as I use Jordana lipsticks just as much for a fifth of the price but in saying that I love the variety of different shades that Mac offers.
After wanting a Mac lippie for so long I finally decided to go for it. Absolutely no regrets.
The packaging is so simple and sleek. It has the yummiest smell and the texture is creamy and feels quite moisturizing, applies easily and smoothly.
I wear this to work and even with drinking coffee it last half the day with a bit of fade. The fade isn't bad, it tends to fade evenly and doesn't look patchy at all. I will either apply a clear gloss and re-apply just a little after lunch.
It doesn't feel like it dries out my lips, but I do apply a balm before applying anyway.
Cannot wait till my collection grows bigger
Tips: If you are buying online and you are unsure if you have a fake there is a brilliant you tube video you can watch that shows you what to look for.
Wow, my first Mac lipstick, infact my first Mac product ever, to be honest I am taken in a bit with the hype of Mac products. I am expecting something good on this.
The colour I picked was St Germain, this is a amplified crème lipstick in pale pastel pink. When I opened the packet I was a little down I thought I had picked a fushcia/magenta colour, never mind these things happen and I have other clothes that this will go with. The lipstick tube is a black bullet shape with a brushed metal band and "MAC" written at the base of the lid in silver, a basic elegance was the aim I am thinking and highly identifible. The lip stick goes on cleanly when applied and feels instantly soft on the lips. The lipstick has a vanilla scent to it that sticks around, much like the colour as well. On the days that I wear it I only reapply twice, lunchtime and before I leave work and there is still plenty of colour still on my lips at that point. The mistake colour has become my favourite for statement lips in the short time I have had it. It has a moisturising feel to the lipstick that hits as it is being applied to the lips.
If price was not an option I would be buying a few more of these with no issue but I will stick to finding a few colours that I will wear on a regular basis to get, I won't be buying colours that I only wear once or twice.
Tips: St Germain shows on white disposable coffee cup lids as a fluro pink but it sticks tight to your lips.
I received my first ever mac lipstick on Christmas last year and i was in LOVE. It was the shade, neon orange. The texture is creamy, it glides on easily, and its super pigmented. Two months ago i received my second ever mac lipstick in 'sin' I LOVE the color, although i am disappointed that it rubs off so easily and actually goes quite patchy and crusty i would most definitely go out and buy 'sin' once i ran out of it, i need to invest in a lip scrub as it might just be my lips that make this lipstick go patchy, overall i would definitely go out and buy a mac lipstick :)
Tips: Use a lip scrub and moisturize lips before using lipstick :)
I personally only own and like the M.A.C Matte, Retro Matte and Satin finish lipsticks, I think the formula for those are just really good, they feel luxurious on the lips, they have great colour pay off and the staying power is amazing, . My faves are Kinda Sexy (Warm/Peachy Nude), Flat Out Fabulous (Bright Fuchsia) and my newest addition Instigator (Dark Plum). They don't feather, they last hours and they don't sink into lines. I would say the quality of the formula varies I have most of the retro matte colours and Runway Hit, which is a very similar color to Kinda Sexy isnt the greatest, it sinks into my lines and when i want to get full on color i have to use either concealer or foundation to erase my natural lip colour, and even then i still have to build it up and still looks patchy. So if you like the look of runway hit skip it and get kinda sexy. Also another fav of mine is Riri woo. Update i now own a creamsheen and lustre finish not my fav but the colours are really pretty. fanfare and
Tips: M.A.C lipsticks prices start from $40 in NZ, I personally don't think these Lipsticks are worth that price, I purchase mine from the M.A.C US website for $16 USD = $23.91NZD and I use Youshop to foward my parcels to NZ.
I own two colours; vegas vault and peaches (something?) Enjoy using this product as it really gives a strong colour that lasts. Will buy again when I run out.
