Color Craze

For the price paid it is actually very good. It has a large colour range and the results are long lasting. Just went and bought five more shades yesterday. Was slightly hesitant at first because of the price of $5 it probably was very poorly created. But truly surprised me how long lasting and chip resistant the polish was. Also dried quickly

Very affordable since all of the LA Colors brand at Warehouse is $5 each, which is very good when your are on a budget.

But because of the large colour range it takes quite a long while to decide on the colours I need to have in life.

Polishes ranged from Brights and Bolds to Deep and Darks along the way with essentials and glitter shades. Also has nail art sets.

Currently owning; Caribbean Pink,Candy Sprinkles, Nectar, Diamond Top Coat, Sassy Sparkle, Chalkboard Nail Kit and Intimate

Tips: Cleanse nail to get rid of any old nail polish. Apply with base coat then polish and finish with top coat to extend wear time

These dont stand alone well

The great thing I have to say when it comes to this range of polishes is there is a tantalizing selection of colours! If I go in with the intention of buying one, I usually walk out empty handed because I just cannot decide.

The colour intensity of these nail polishes are sometimes a bit hit and miss, I remember buying a red and a black. The red was the most vibrant red I have ever owned whereas the black I had to throw out because when applied to my nails, it looked like it had been watered down, this could have been a once off but I have had a similar experience with another colour I have purchased from this brand.

I have found these, alone are not chip resistant and have little staying power. For a night out, its ok but beyond that without a base coat and top coat you arent going to get it to last more than 12 hours without having to tidy them up. I do however find them fast drying and using a top coat and base coat I can get a couple of days wear out of them.

The consistency is nice, not too thick and not too runny. the brush applies the colour nicely, I dont have problems with streaks and the handle is easy to hold. If you are the kind of person who doesnt want to spend a fortune on nail polish or who doesnt need polish to last (or even if you already own a base coat and top coat) try out a bottle. They are $5 and the colours really are pretty!

Tips: Use a base coat and top coat to extend the wear

Colour Craze Nail Colours

LA Girls product stands can be found at The Warehouse and some various two dollar shops. Their range is has all your make up needs to a certain extent.

Within this colour craze range there are vibrant colours from orange through to black. Overtime I have seen them make many different lines from glitter through to magnectic colours. I got my first bottle in a vibrant teal colour from the $2 shop. Got it for $3 dollars at the time.

The bottle itself is a decent size. A normal nail brush that applies well to your nails. This nail laquer liquid is quite thin.To get vibrant nails you need to apply at least two to three coats for full coverage. About a ten minute wait in between coats. Is not fast drying as suggested. Took a long time to dry.Was not chip resistant. It chipped off my nail on the second day of wearing it. By third to fith day it was completely worn. Bit of a disapointment.

Overall, the best thing I liked about this product is the vibrant colours and brush. As for the long lasting and anti chip definately didn't do this. Still good to have for when my daughter and her mates want to have a bit of fun playing.

They Didn't Nail It

I've been looking for a lovely minty shade for a while now, and been a bit stingy about the price, so when I saw this (having never heard of the brand) amongst a bunch of OPI and Essie polishes at a clearance store I grabbed it - and it cost 50 cents. Bonus.

I realise now thought that it cost 50 cents for a reason, because as much as I loved the colour 'Green Satin' - mint with a gold sheen, the formula was not fabulous. It's very wet and it took three coats before it stopped looking incredibly streaky, and even after three coats there were still streaks. On top of that it took FOREVER to dry, even the first thin coat took ages. By the end of it there were nicks and bumps on most of my nails.

I must admit however, that the promise of chip resistance was met - yes, my nails chipped, but they did so in the same time that it would take if I were wearing a more expensive brand.

Overall, I like the colour, but I wouldn't repurchase, not for $5, not for 50 cents.

Great colour selection but no stay power

My sister gifted me the LA colors 18 piece set a while ago and it comes in in a wide variety of shade. They range from light to dark, matte to metallic and some coloured glitter shades.

They are small and the brush is easy to hold, the formula is not to thick and not too thin, you can get a good amount of nail polish and still have enough time to dip your brush back in to add more if you need to. I am bad for not getting the edges on the far side of my pinky fingers so I always have enough time to add more nail polish before it sets.

Dry time is about 4-5 minutes in between shades, and I do 4 coats. They don't last long, by the 2nd day they have started to chip on the tips of my fingernails. When you apply the matte shades to your nails they are always lighter than they look in the bottles.

I have given this set to my daughter as its perfect for her, easy for her to hold and clean up is easy. I still use the glittery shades for top coats but don't use any of the other shades.

Sticky, never seems to dry

I own this product in the polish called Broken Hearted. Broken Hearted is a transparent pink polish filled with small and large pieces of holographic glitter. This is hard to apply as the polish itself is very gel like and tends to blob on the nail. I also find it quite difficult to get any large pieces of glitter to actually adhere to the nail. I've tried applying this to my bare nails and over a nail polish yet it never seems to dry properly and stays tacky all day before it peels itself off within a few hours. The packaging feels a bit cheap but that is to be expected for the price. I would not repurchase as this was such a hassle to use and it wouldn't dry properly.

Okay-ish nailpolish

Pretty good value for a nail polish and great colours but I find that they just chip so easily!! I have a bright red colour and I love it but am never overly keen on putting it on as my first chip will likely be there the next day and I hate imperfections on my nails!! But with a few extra layers and a top coat it will last a little longer.
