So I purchased this after rave reviews on a MUO page. I tried using it as my main makeup remover as it said you could remove all your makeup with a cotton pad soaked in it. I needed about 6 cotton pads to get anywhere close to having a clean face lol. I have sinced changed tactics and now cleanse once with my facial cleanser and then finish off using my micellar water which seems to work way better and saves on my facial cleanser too. It feels nice on my skin and I like the idea of not having to remove it. I would definitely purchase it again or perhaps use it solely for removing my eye makeup.

Tips: Be prepared to use more than a couple of cotton pads at a time.
This is the third micellar water that I have tried and it compares very favourably with the others. In a large clear bottle, this product is twice as much product for about the same price as the Simple one. I use this after cleaning my makeup off with aqueous cream, and it does a good job. Unscented and it doesn't leave a residue. I still get makeup residue on the cleansing pad, so feel like it does a good thorough job.
Micellar water may be a 'miraculous' product, but I want to start out by making it clear that it's not a cleanser. It does a damn good job of removing makeup (although, I find it can't budge waterproof mascara, or a long-staying one like Benefit's They're Real). That being said, because it's essentially a soap suspended in water, it leaves a film all over your face, so you still need to clean your face afterwards. I use this on a cotton pad as a once-over before using a cleanser proper. The one thing I can say is amazing about it is how long a bottle lasts!
Tips: Use a second cleanser afterwards. Your skin will thank you for it!
Garnier clean and sensitive boy I was getting really upset as I couldn't find it anywhere it just disappeared. I heard heaps about micellar water had some brought over from Australia. And a generous sized bottle it is, it looks like a clear water that gets a wee froth on it if you shake it and it's fragrance free. So I tip a bit on a makeup pad and wipe, yeah baby I'm a happy camper off comes my make up eyes and all no stinging or irritation. It says you don't have to rinse after you have uses it but I like to rinse then use a cleanser after as well. I don't think I need to as my make up is all gone, but that's what I do. This will last as I don't need much. I Love this it's worth every cent for me a total makeup remover. Not stinging or irritation I'm just left with a makeup free face. Will be on my list to keep buying .
Tips: wash your face after using it:)
I honestly believed this was just overpriced water when everyone went crazy for it and the first thing that appealed was that it was Garnier, its a brand i do trust generally so i thought cool. It was a bit pricey (for water) but i got it anyways. My skin is oily in the T-Zone area and i wanted to see how this water performed by cleaning and not stripping the skin. I have to say, it felt like water but definitely refreshed and cleansed my skin well, no need to go to the bathroom and wash off, just a clean facial pad and micellar water and all while you are laying in bed, makeup off, clean skin and asleep in under 2 min ;) I would definitely recommend this to my friends and NON-believers , i think it is worth a try at the least. It lasts really long too as you do not need much to cleanse your skin so thats a definite bonus for me as well.
Tips: I suggest using 2 cotton pads... one to cleanse initially and another to refresh.
I generally use makeup wipes as a quick way to remove my makeup. This product work great for me to remove any traces that are left behind. It leaves your face feeling completely clean. I have other products I prefer to remove eye makeup, but for foundation etc this works well. I think it's a great (and less expensive) alternative to Bioderma. The bottle is a generous size and I would repurchase.
Everybody raved about this product but when I tried it I found it was actually really drying on my skin even though I moistured afterwards and I also found my skin started to break out after a week of using it, so I stopped when I did use it though I found it was pretty good at removing make up etc a lot of ladies swear by this product but I personally didn't like it
I'm one of those people who doesn't have time for lots of fussy routines, so I was really pleased to trial Micellar Cleansing Water, mostly because it can be used eye makeup as well.
Although it is called water, I was unprepared for the fact that the consistency is that of...water.. That made me sceptical, how could this water do water plain old tap water can't? Well I was pleasantly surprised. I applied the Micellar Water with a make-up remover pad. It glides over the skin effortlessly and I could visibly see by the residue on the pad that it was cleaning the make up off my skin. My skin felt refreshed after using it and I looked forward to using it each day, especially before I went to bed at night.
The product promises to be effective on eyes, if I was to be a little critical I found it wasn't very thorough at getting mascara off, but that wasn't too bad, a little rubbing got most off, so for the most part I do think the product delivered on what it promised.
Price wise, this product is RRP $12.99 and I think that represents excellent value for money. I researched Micellar Water when I was picked for the trial, as I had never heard of it, and most were alot more expensive, so I think Garnier Micellar Water's price makes it alot more accessible for the average person.
The packaging is appropriate but I have one issue with it, the cap is designed wrong. It says about 1/2 a teaspoon is all that's required, but the cap prevents the flow of the water so hardly any comes out, so you have to give it a bit of a shake and then too much comes out.. it was annoying.
I have only been using the product for a week, but so far I am happy with how it makes my skin feel, how it cleans and how I can put make-up etc on after I have used it.
I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
Tips: Be careful pouring it out or you'll use too much, which doesn't matter on your skin, but it won't last as long.
Not a fan. I've tried to love it. I really did. I dislike (intesely) the amount of cotton pads I need to use to remove my makeup (I wear a full face each day). Also, I userproof mascara and eyeliner:This won't remover that, back to Neutrogena Oil Free makeup remover I go. This also leaves a greasy feel to my skin -I can't wait to clean my skin properly. All in all, for makeup removal, I much prefer Clinique Take the Day Off Balm: Or coconut oil!
Tips: I can't believe this is promoted as a one stop 'clean your face'. Clean your face afterwards - this is a must!
Recently I've had the biggest breakout I've ever had and I've been useing this every morning and night for the past month and it's helped a lot! I find my breakout has calmed down a lot and I love the fresh feeling it leaves afterwards
