essano Vitamin C Brightening Polishing Scrub Reviews

I purchased this in the Beauty Vault. It's a nice gentle facial scrub when your skin needs that extra clean. A clear tinted gel with super tiny exfoliants that don't scour your skin. It has a slight citrus scent. I wouldn't use this on a daily basis more like weekly or when I feel that my skin needs that extra clean.

Picked this up in the vault and excited to try as it's been awhile since I last used an Essano product. Aesthically pleasing, dark bottle, rose pink label (signature from the brand). Package writing describes it as "Refresh & revive, micro exfoliant, gentle enough for everyday use."

Though I tend to use this in the evening, it has a lovely refreshing orange/fruity scent. Would probably be ideal for morning use. Slightly tinted colored gel with very fine gritty exfoliant. Reminds me of sand but a lot smaller granules. Would love to know what the exfoliant part is made of though I couldn't see it on the label.

It is a gentle exfoliant, skin is left feeling clean and unclogged, not dried out or over exfoliated. Was in two minds about this product after initially trying it but it's been a couple of weeks now and I quite like it. It's a good product, easily accesible for repurchase from the supermarket, an NZ brand and CF. Will be looking to repurchase when this one is used up. Which could be awhile as you don't need to use product, about a fingernail size amount is enough to get the job done.

My cousin recommended the Vitamin C range of Essano as she really loved it but I found this product in particular far to rough on my skin. I have sensitive skin and found this product left my cheeks feeling quite raw and they would then sting when I put moisturizer on afterwards - not a great sign! Just not gentle enough for me unfortunately.

Love it. A little really does go a long way. I'm not typically into exfoliators as I do have sensitive skin - but this is gentle enough that I can use most days if I want to without any irritation. Delightful orange zest sent, easy to use, gentle, great price and easily available at the supermarket.

I use this product quite regularly and I like the rest of the brand as well would I buy this again yes I would because it's worth the money and it works for me

The Vitamin C scrub is a lovely scrubby face polisher that leaves skin soft, smooth and glowy!

Its not too abrasive and my skin felt hydrated after use.

I am in love with this product! It is gentle on my skin (I have rosacea so I do need to be careful) and I use it most days! I will continue to buy this once my bottle runs out. I would gladly give this one a 10/10

The bottle is a nice size and the normal Essano colours and packaging. The scrub is not to harsh and a nice soft exfoliant. Used the scrub on a daily basis and it does not damage your skin and leaves my skin feeling soft and bright.

Only necessary to use a small amount. Will definitely get this again.

I am a fan of essano’s products. I decided to purchase this because I was looking for a very gentle facial exfoliator, and this one claims to be gentle enough to use everyday. This “polishing scrub” comes in essano’s regular coloured packaging of pink and black. The bottle is an opaque black plastic with a white flip-top lid and a pink label. The bottle is 100ml. It claims to contain no “parabens, sulphates, silicones” or to be tested on animals. It contains “Micro-exfoliants” and is “Gentle enough for everyday use”. It is meant to “refresh and revive”.

The directions say to apply to damp skin and to gently massage in with circular motions, and then to rinse off with water. They say for best results to use it daily. I have been using this on my face nearly everyday in the shower since I purchased it. I have dry skin, which is easily irritated. However, I get congestion around my chin, nose, and forehead, which contributes to blackheads and whiteheads. I find that exfoliating helps to keep them at bay.

This scrub is easy to squeeze out of the bottle. You only need to use a small amount each time, and the nozzle on the flip lid means that you can easily control how much comes out. I have been using this for the past few months and I am only now reaching the bottom of the bottle. The product has a citrus scent, and is clear, with an orange tint. I think this is due to its vitamin C content. The formula is very gentle and it dissolves well. It has not irritated my skin, and my face feels less congested after using it. I have mostly used it daily, only easing off when my skin has been particularly irritated and dry.

Altogether I think this is the perfect facial exfoliator for people with dry and sensitive skin.
