Lush Let The Good Times Roll You can use this cleanser for your face and body – it’s gentle enough to polish and buff your skin all over. It’s scented with Pia’s popcorn perfume that’s in the sugary lip scrub of the same name. It’s smoothing and soothing and ever so slightly warming on the skin.

Great Cleanser but can't Beat Buche de Noel

I bought this cleanser at Christmas time in their sale. I couldn't get hold of Buche de Noel at the time and so substituted that for this one.

The first thing I noticed was the three pieces of popcorn on the top of the cleanser, I thought it was cute and hilarious at the same time. I was thinking 'I wonder whether I can eat this or not' lol. Don't worry I didn't.

This cleanser is similar but different all at the same time. It has a more playdoh texture to it but more bitty. It cleanses well but it leaves big pieces on your face. It does seem to be greasy however I don't find it very moisturising like some of the others.

It does cleanse and it does smell nice. The price is good and is in pot that is user friendly. Also when you have five of these containers, they can be traded in for a free Face Mask, which is super generous of Lush.

On a comparison with Buche de Noel and Angels on Bare Skin, I wish I could say it was the same but it's not. Unfortunately, I don't find it very moisturising like the other two are which is sad as I wanted to love it. Not to say though that if the other two weren't available I wouldn't purchase because I would. But only if I couldn't have the others.

Pretty good!

This would be the best-smelling fresh cleanser out of Lush's range. It smells like sweet biscuits and has a slightly grainy/playdough-y texture. This is also one of the more gritty/exfoliating fresh cleansers lush has (aside from dark angels).

However, in comparison to herbalism and angels on bare skin, it isn't as moisturizing as them and doesn't seem to do much else for my normal skin.

It is pleasant to use, feels exfoliating, smells delicious and leaves my skin feeling temporarily soft but other than that- you would be better off going with the other lush cleaners with ingredients that actually work to improve your skin.

Caramel Popcorn anyone?

I was given a 100g tub as a bonus for placing an order online. Upon opening it I was in love... it smells just like salted caramel popcorn... I can't get enough of its scent!

The product itself it an oddity as it is ply-able as a solid mass add water it goes creamy but it had gritty ground up popcorn through it... If you had told me a year ago I would be smearing popcorn on my face as skin car I would have laughed you out of the building! but after using this for the last two weeks every second or third day (don't get this in your hair line... it's not a good look), I actually like how my skin feels afterwards (be prepared that during use it looks kind of gross). It leaves a kind of oily residue on my face but it feels silky and doesn't look like an oil slick.

I don't think I would race out to buy this again (apart from the yummy scent) as I have other products that I personally find do more for my skin, but this isn't bad and I still have a lot left in the tub so it is reasonable value for money even though you only have 3 months from making it to expiry date (check this before purchasing to get the most out of your purchase; Lush do make their products fresh though)

So yummy you could eat it

Lush Let the Good Times Roll Facial Scrub is an absolute delight! 🌟 The gentle exfoliation leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and refreshed without being too harsh. The sweet, caramel scent is just heavenly—it's like a treat. The natural ingredients are a big plus. Highly recommend for a little self-pampering! 💆‍♀️✨

Tips: Make sure to use it within three months!

beautiful

the smell like with most lush products is amazing, it is quite sweet and caramelly. the scrub itself is a bit harsh on the skin so it is good to use maybe once or twice a week, or would work well for people with oily skin or large dry patches.

Lush Let the Good, Caramel, Smooth Skin Times Roll

I'm surprised how much I liked this scrub. I've been using it twice as a scrub for a few weeks and I really like it. From what I've discovered a lot of face and body recommended scrubs are too harsh for your face. But this is really gentle facial cleansing scrub. It smells like caramel and it has no ruff particulars. This fresh face cleansing roll has a short ingredients list. The maize flour and cornmeal are supposed to be the exfoliants. I don't think for a manual scrub it gets much finer than that. This mixes into a nice smooth paste and doesn't leave a mess unlike some of the other cleansers. After using this, my skin is soft and smooth. And because this scrub is so fine and not scratchy or harsh I can even use it while I have breakouts. While I do prefer Angels on Bare Skin to this because I find it more moisturizing, this is still a great scrub. I think this would suit most skin types. For those looking for a simple, natural very fine scrub this might be worth a shot.

Tips: The way to work with this scrub is to take a small bit of the dry scrub and mix it with a bit of water in your palm to form a paste. You need to keep the product in the pot dry until you are going to use it so don't store this in shower. I would recommend storing the pot somewhere dry and just taking a small amount in a sample container in the shower with you so the main pot and product doesn't get any water in it.

Movies and porridge, anyone?

Honestly, it feels like I've walked into a movie theatre but woken up in a bowl of porridge. Strange I know but I love it. Its the smell that sold me if you cant already tell - popcorn and cinnamon oats. As if you could have guessed - yes this is a great exfoliate. It promises to scrub and soften with its granting oats and maize flour yet stimulates with its cinnamon powder. Its not a daily cleanser as I don't want to exfoliate too often but for when my skin looks tired and cluttered from the days makeup and events I know a can rely on this little guy. The afterglow is amazing, my face feels silky soft and all make up is removed. I would happily purchased this again as a fave exfoliate, that is if Lush doesn't put out anything better. Side note; watch out for random appearing corn kennels … their in there somewhere!

Good enough to eat!

On a recent Lush escapade I was given a very knowledgable skin consultation where I was recommended Let The Good Times Roll as a cleanser. I was told that this cleanser was special in that it would help deliver moisture into my oliy, acne-prone skin, helping stopping it from over-producing oil.

First impressions of the product? The yellow-coloured, grainy formula was almost like a soft scrub in consistencylike the polenta it is made up of. It reminded me a lot like an oaty cookie dough, and smelled like it too. Sweetly scented, in fact it smelled so good that I may have licked my lips when washing it off and it really is good enough to eat!

To apply I grab a small amount of scrub and mix it with water in my palm to make a smooth paste. I massage it into my skin and the granular texture makes a nice exfolliant which is gentle enough not to irritate my skin. After washing off my skin feels so soft and smooth, and like I was informed it actually felt like very nourished, not tight or dry like most cleansers leave it. The cleanser itself does give some moisture back into the skin so I think would be suitable not only for oily skin types but those with combo and normal as well.

I have been incredibly impressed with this product as I really expected it to break my skin out given it's lack of chemicals designed to fight acne, instead it's worked really well and left my skin looking great. I prefer to use this more as a scrub than a twice-a-day cleanser because despite how gentle it is it's still exfolliating. The only downside of this cleanser is I found the formula a bit more time-consuming to use and a bit messier than the standard cleanser, but this is only a small downside to a very great product.

Tips: This reminds me a lot of Oasis' Tropical Smoothie which I also have as I found you can also leave it on like a fresh face mask, and then exfolliate and cleanse as you wash it off.

Lush Let The Good Times Roll - Review

If you're a fan of Lush's other facial cleansers and you have normal-dry skin I think you would love this! It's a solid cleanser that you mix with water to form a paste. You can find it at Lush stores nationwide or online and it retails for around $19.50 for 100g of product which I think is quite reasonable because you only really need a pea sized amount per use.

This product comes in a classic Lush black pot, and is a golden colour. It smells absolutely divine - just like caramel popcorn, super rich and yummy, I wanted to eat it! It also has fine particles which help gently exfoliate the skin and soften it. I found that once I used this product, I was left with soft, hydrated feeling skin and it wasn't too greasy at all - I do have oily combination skin keep in mind, and it still worked great for me although I do prefer another one of Lush's cleansers to this.

I would definitely recommend this product to you if you are a fan of Lush's cleansers, or want to try them for the first time, and want something that smells super yummy and gently exfoliates and buffs dead skin cells away! Since you only need a tiny pea-sized amount, the whole pot will last you for a long time, and the ingredients are also natural. Thumbs up from me!

My go to

After trying a few other Lush cleansers I thought I would try this one - the sweet caramel, popcorn smell got me good! This has now become part of my daily cleanser routine (at night). I love the smell of the product, the consistency is great as it is moist, not crumbly and easy to work with, plus it makes your skin smell amazing - my partner has asked numerous time what the 'yummy' smell is! I found that this cleanser worked better for my skin than any of the others (combination of oily and dry in patches lately :().

Tips: Like all the other cleansers mix with water to form a paste then apply to skin.
