I own the Nude Palette in both the Beige, and Rose editions. The palette is very tiny for a ten shade palette and for the price tag; this makes it easy to travel with but you get very little of each eye shadow which makes this quite pricy. The packaging is a simple sturdy black container with 'La Palette nude' written in gold. Inside there is a mirror and an applicator. The applicator has a sponge tip on one side, and a brush on the other. Like most freebie applicators included in palettes, it's very flimsy and doesn't apply the eyeshadow well at all. This is disappointing given this palette's RRP. The Beige palette has 4 matte shades, 4 shimmers, and 2 satin (?) shades. The Rose palette has 3 matte shades, and the rest look like shimmers, it's hard to tell apart the shimmer vs sheen shades. The nude shades in the Beige palette are quite dull as far as nude palette go, the mattes provided are the ideal shades for eyeshadow bases and transition shades. but they are not very pigmented. The shimmers are barely visible, and need to be applied with a wet brush to show up at all! The colours in the Beige palette are very cool toned and dull, I would have thought they were good beginner shades but the colours lack pigment and barely show up, so it's definitely not ideal for beginners! I also found the shimmers faded very fast throughout the day. I never really reach for the Beige palette as I have so many nude palettes that just work much better. The colours in the Rose nude palette are more pretty and flattering. It is a pink toned tuned palette, with rosy pink mattes, and pink and purple shimmers. This palette is more pigmented and for some reason performs better than the Beige palette, I find it is a bit more long wearing and the colours have more oomph. However, I still find it lacklustre; the shimmers are still too subtle for my liking, and the colours fade too quickly throughout the day so it just doesn't wear well. I wouldn't buy these again. I normally really love L'Oreal eyeshadows but these aren't cheap, and there just isn't enough pigmentation or decent wear time for me to like these.
