Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky Shampoo and Conditioner

My mother used eyer H & S shampoo and conditioner out there on us kids since I can remember. This one would be one of my favorites!

It comes out very creamy and lathers up nicely, you only need a pea size due to that. Which makes it very economical.

The scent to me is very fresh and almost abit floral but that is just me. This always made me feel really fresh and clean, also my hair got really smooth.

Sometimes a little too smooth that it weighed my hair down. mind you tho, this really worked if I straightened my hair and wanted the sleek look.

When it comes to the dandruff part of it I must say H & S have some more powerful shampoos and conditioners for that problem. I would say that this one is one the weaker side of the scale and focuses more on taming that frizzy hair.

I buy this when I start to notice a few white spots on my shoulders. I always find it works within a few washes, and I can go back to my normal shampoo.

I have extremely long hair which is also quite dry, so therefore I need to look after it. My scalp is very sensitive, dry and "dandraffy," and I also get eczema around my hair line. This shampoo does not exacerbate the eczema, but helps decrease it (it has actualy disappeared but I believe this is mostly because of the new skincare range I have been using). I only wash my hair every 5 - 7 days, so this product isn't always great at keeping dandruff away as I don't use it often enough. I do not need to wash my hair more often than I do because it does not get oily.

I only use the shampoo and not the conditioner (I use a conditioning treatment on the ends). It cleans my hair well, and has a pleasant clean scent. I does not dry my hair out - my hairdresser who colours and trims my hair said to me "your hair continues to amaze me," by which she meant that she expected the product to strip my colour and dry my hair out, which it does not. Maybe it would if I was to use it more often though.

Smooth and silky shampoo really does leave my hair feeling just that! I would recommend it to someone with a similar hair and scalp type as mine, but maybe not someone who has dandruff and coloured hair as it might strip the colour.

My mum has short hair and I have fairly long hair, but since mum does the grocery shopping she always buys this! I have to use alot of product on my hair, but it does the job. I love a good-smelling shampoo but this is pretty average! Pretty basic and nothing too much to rave about :) Cleans the hair and that's about it!

I bought this for my husband a few months in a row to help with his dandruff & his hair smelled delicious as well as stopping the dandruff problem completely within a couple of months. Great stuff

I feels like they all manly work the same. Gets rid of flacks well. Don't no about the silkey ness tho. But don't have anything bad to say about it :)

This comes in a fresh white ,shaped container with blue and pick writing and design and a blue lid with a flip cap. The shampoo conditioner is a white thick lotion with a floral scent. All good to this point but I found using this has not helped my scalp and itch more after use so end up with more white flakes than before. I find the mixture of shampoo and conditioner just does not work for me and I end up with greasy lank hair.I was disappointed as it is not cheap for 70 mls however it may be just me as I do have sensitive skin.

I enjoy this product however did not reduce signs of dry scalp or dandruff. As a standard shampoo it leaves hair smooth and clean.

I have tried this product as a cheap alternative supermarket hair shampoo. Firstly it offers a great lather without having to use too much. The frangrance is all really good.

The pricing is also excellent at $5 to $6 from any local supermarket.

However, I dont believe it provides for great long term benefits. I would recommend this problem if you have a skin condition. If you are after something because you may have a dry scalp from a little sun burn etc.

I bought this product long back and used it for about a month. To say about packaging, the shampoo comes in a white plastic bottle which is curvy from one side with a cap. I like its simple and cute packaging.

The consistency of the shampoo is thick and the color of the shampoo is milky white. I love the flowery fragrance this shampoo delivers which I did not expected from an anti dandruff shampoo at all.

I had mild dandruff, so there were no much expectations from this shampoo at first from my side. The very first time I used it, I felt that this shampoo lathers good and rinses out easily. Rinsing out shampoo from my hair is quite a task for me as I have long black hair. After a week of using it, I found that it made my hair little frizzy. I also noticed that it dried my scalp. So, I had to use a heavy nourishing conditioner with it. The smooth and silky conditioner did not help. However, I must say that it did its primary task quite effectively. It did reduced the dandruff and prevented it all the while I was using it.

I recommend oily and normal scalp people who have dandruff to try this shampoo. Dry scalp people will need intensive conditioning of the hair if they want to use it.
