I found H&S to help with the itchy scalp and dandruff, but the conditioner is too heavy. Can still notice its in my hair after drying and styling due to its heaviness. I have to alternate this with other brands, as using it too much causes a build up in my hair.

Reviews
Reading other reviews, it seems that H&S works for some and not others. Personally, I don't love the smell but find it does help wash out the flakes. It doesn't stop them reappearing however, so I needed to keep using the product. I used to wash once with this, then again with another brand and another brands' conditioner. The combination worked well for me. I also found that this Smooth & Silky product was less drying than other dandruff shampoo products, including the other Head and Shoulders products.
Tips: Use before your usual shampoo to help wash out dandruff flakes.
I liked this product, it got rid of dandruff after washing, but on the third day i get it again so i find i need to wash my hair every second days. No biggie. It also smells nice, and my hair feels soft and clean after using it.
As far as dandruff goes, this stuff does the trick! There is no doubt in my mind that if your scalp is dry and itchy, buy head and shoulders shampoo! What I'm not confident in is the 'smooth and silky' claim made by this version. I found the shampoo actually dried my hair out!
Tips: What I do now if I need dandruff care is just use this shampoo on my scalp only! Then I shampoo the ends of my hair and my scalp again lightly with some regular shampoo that isn't so drying.
I use this shampoo and conditioner religiously! Unfortunately my scalp is sensitive and as a result any products make it react badly. I have found most other shampoos and conditioners are too harsh and make it worse and even more dry so I tries the Smooth and Silky head and shoulders duo and wow what a difference! I haven't looked back since. My hair is so smooth and silky just as it says which for me is huge because my hair is so damaged from bleaching it when I was younger. I am 98% flake free and confident again yay :D
Tips: Shampoo twice if your scalp is really dry and condition once it helps :)
I dont use this religiously, but my husband does. I had some dandruff appearing on my scalp and thought i would give this a go. To my surprise, it definitely does the job. Definitively good to use when wanting your hair to be free from dandruff.
When this came out i was so excited as i always found regular head and shoulders left my hair looking dry and dull. The smooth and silky head and shoulders leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy and keeps my scalp in check too! This is the shampoo i always use now and bonus its affordable as well!
I bought this as my normal products weren't available at the time, and through being dehydrated, my scalp was dry and flaky.
It has a gentle and pleasant scent unlike other anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioners which was a bonus.
Used every 2nd to 3rd day, and with my below hip length hair, the bottles lasted about a month and a half, so in comparison to the price and quantity was very pleased.
I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the results were. No more dandruff, and worked a treat with the silkiness and smoothness of my hair.
Although I haven't been converted, I am still very happy with this product. Hubby seems to like it too, so I now purchase it for him!
Tips: I'd recommend trying out the small bottle, as its obvious its not for everyone's hair type. Also, leave the conditioner in a wee bit longer than directions imply, and use it more away from the roots and through work through to the ends...could make a difference.
Also, one thing I had noticed was after rinsing conditioner out the base of the shower was rather slippery, which I haven't found with any other hair product... so just a pre-warning :)
i start using this when i start to get a bit of dandruff ,you don't have to use a lot and it lathers well . it also doesn't smell to strong so that's a plus. over all it does a good job , only needing a few washes and then my dandruff's gone .
This is my go to when I start to get a bit flakey. I find it only takes a few washes to sort it out if I get early enough. Smells nice & is silky when my hair was in good condition. Now that I'm (artificially) blonde it's not great.
