Here I go again....Another fantastic kotia product!! Honestly I can't say good enough things about this brand and the hand cream is no exception. Makes my hands soft and supple and look younger. Has a great little pump top for easy use. It's not at all greasy and has a very soft subtle smell which I find beautiful. I have tried nearly all their products now and love them all. A BIG THANK YOU TO NZ FOR FINDING THE MAGIC IN DEER MILK!! I just wish they did hair care now.....:)

Tips: Try kotia!!
I received this hand and nail cream in a Beauty Vault. I was curious to try it because it is made in New Zealand from deer milk, and I have not tried anything with deer milk as an ingredient before.
The hand and nail cream comes packaged in a luminous cool brown cardboard box. The packaging states that it is “scientifically developed to strengthen nails and improve skin roughness.” The hand and nail cream itself comes in a luminous cool brown tube the same colour as the box. The tube is 50ml and it stands on its head. It has quite a large lid, which pops off to reveal a pump. The pump is easy to use and dispenses an appropriate amount with each depression. I find 2 – 3 pumps is enough for my hands.
The cream itself is white and has little to no discernible scent. I have been applying this at night before I go to sleep. The cream is not too thick, and it is not greasy at all. It absorbs into the skin quickly and easily. My hands feel very soft after applying it. They have been less dry overall since I began using this cream over the past few months.
I like this cream. It is on the pricier side considering you only get 50mls. But I think it is worth the splurge if you can afford it.
I was super excited when I managed to get this in the vault. I love that this is a NZ product and I was quite intrigued by it. It comes in an attractive brown 50ml squeezy tube with a pump.
It is a medium consistency and a little definitely goes a long way. It absorbs super well into my hands and doesn't leave any greasy residue. My hands feel nourished and hydrated which is what I need now after all the hand washing and sanitising lately.
My only negative with this hand cream is the scent. It has a nice floral smell but then I can smell something horrible, it reminds me of off milk. It's rank and really offensive to me. For this reason alone I cannot continue using it and will gift it to someone else and see what they think of the smell. A real shame!
This is such a rich formula that provides much needed hydration to your skin. It contains protein and amino-acids found in Deer Milk to give your hands both protection and nourishment. I work as a nurse so am constantly washing and sanitising my hands, this cream provides enough hydration to keep my hands feeling nourished all day.
Tips: I personally like the scent but I have read that other people find it unpleasant.
Picked this up in the vault and I’ve been using it on and off for a few weeks now, I really can’t recommend this hand cream at all. I really dislike the scent, it’s very unpleasant, smells like there’s some kind of perfume in it, but had a vile smell underneath that just comes out more sadly. This handcream sounds almost too good to be true, in writing it’s got everything going for it: Shea butter, keratin, vitamins, olive oil, deer milk, supposed to be good for nails too, preventing aging? No, I think they went too far with promising so much, yet delivering average results. My hands don’t feel softer after applying, it soaks in rather slow, yet doesn’t hydrate properly, rather just sits on top of the skin and I need to reapply it or simply just use another hand cream. The smell really makes this hard to reach for and I’m glad I haven’t paid for it at all, let alone the full price, because it’s not worth it in my opinion at all.
