Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo Review

I recently died my hair blonde, it took 3 visits to the salon to get it the color i wanted but it kept going brassy quite quickly. I use this shampoo once a week and it makes my hair a beautiful silvery blonde while keeping my dark ombre roots the right color. The only downside is how dry your hair feels

This is a really great product, it does get rid of unwanted yellow tones, which is what the product is for. This is perhaps the strongest purple shampoo I've used to date.

I usually leave purple shampoos in for 5 minutes or longer and it gives me the results I want. With this shampoo it's recommended not to leave in for long as the shampoo is quite strong. It has turned my whiteish parts purpleish. Though it does look good, it was not the result I wished to achieve.

Overall, a very good shampoo for getting rid of yellow tones.

I died my hair a light blonde and it went bright yellow. It was so horrible and gross. I got recommend this by a friend. I loved it after a few washes the yellow started to go. The only thing I didn't like with this shampoo is that my scalp went a bit purple. I love using this because it works the exact same as some more expensive ones. I love this. You don't need a lot of it so its lasts quite a while as well. I use it when my hair is starting to look brassy or yellow, I just put a small squeeze of the shampoo in my hand about the size of a 10 cent coin and get some of my normal shampoo and mix them together. I love this and would so buy this again.

i enjoy using this product (i use it approx 3 times a week as my regular shampoo) and it does what it says it is supposed to. BUT i find that because my hair is dry from mid to end (i currenty have ombre style hair) and oily at the roots it is hard to not to dry out the ends of my hair by trying to tone it with the shampoo. i feel i need to leave it in my hair for atleast 5 minutes to get the product to be effective and i have to wash the walls and shower curtain straight away if product comes in to contact with it as it stains easily. after a few trials with branded conditioners i found Garnier 72hr sleek and shine Conditioner worked the best to prevent fly aways and frizz.

I am naturally strawberry blonde and have dyed my hair a black to silver balayage. I use purple shampoo to get rid of any yellow tones coming through in my silver shades. Fudge definitely gets rid of those. However, if left on for too long it tends to semi dye the bleached hair purple and on many occasions i skipped the fresh silver look and went straight to a lilac purple! it still looks cool though if thats what you're after.

I have highlights in my brown hair, so bought this shampoo to keep blonde colours blonde, I’ve later found out that blue shampoo is better suited for me as my highlights tend to go orange/brassy, rather than green, which is what purple shampoo is best used for. :) Nonetheless it always revives my colours anyway and I usually get dry, itchy scalp from a lot of shampoos, but this one works fine and my hair is in great shape for the next few days until my next wash comes along. I only leave it on my hair for about 5 minutes though.

I love this shampoo. Whenever im blonde, i keep a litre of it in the shower. Predominantly i use it on dry hair, and leave for about an hour to really lift any brassy tones. It smells amazing but does dry out hair a bit. I like to combine as an extra shampoo in my hair washing regime, rather than on its own.

I find the Fudge purple shampoo excellent on my blonde foils. I only have a quarter of my head done in blonde foils so don't need to use too much of this shampoo but it really works well to keep the nice blonde tone. It helps blend the foils nicely with the natural greys that are coming through. The only issue I have with it is that it does dry my hair out so using a good conditioner would be a good idea. It smells great, other purple shampoos I've used haven't smelled the nicest but this one is lovely. I highly recommend this product.

Really loved this purple shampoo, and I've tried quite a few! It is super strong, so you don't have to leave it on long at all I've found. I have extensions too & it works well on these, however it works faster on my extensions than on my real hair so bare that in mind if you also have extensions in. Didn't dry out my hair like some other brands can. The smell isn't too intense either.

Ive been a bottle blonde for most of my life and my hair pulls a lot of orange when dyed. If the hairdresser dosen't tone enough I can always count on this to tone my hair perfectly. I also find freshening up between colours helps keep my hair bright and fresh
