Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo Review

This product was the most reliable out of the various products i used to get the orange pigments out of my hair when going blonde. It's quite strong so you only need to leave it in your hair for a short amount of time and you should be fine. It smells great and leaves your hair feeling good :)

Love this shampoo for taking out the brassy tones in my hair.

Be careful how long you leave it on for other wise it will stain it a purple tone, however if you want a temporary purple hue this works quite well at that.

Overall this is an amazing product that really does what it claims

I was recommended this purple shampoo by my hairdresser, she told me its the best one out there and I definitely aggree! Just a tiny amount and your hair is a perfect blonde! My hair dresser told me that this even makes underneath the tips of your fingernails super white. It smells great and really does the trick, easy to lather and makes my hair feel great, and no funny colours. Its pretty pricey but if you use it right it should last you at least 6 months :) I reccommend the conditioner to go with it as well! Weirdly, my hair doesnt feel as smooth and soft as some of my other products but it definitely does its job with the toning and leeaves a lovely shine! Comes in a great big squeeze bottle and its easy to tell the difference between the shampoo and conditioner as each bottle is a different colour

This shampoo comes in a really attractive purple tube with a flip top lid, it screams save my hair buy me I'll do wonders. Let's just hope the lid stays secure I don't know how I'd feel coming home if it leaked out as I stands on the opening end. I recently treated my hair to a colder blonde than the mix of warm blonde caramels I'm used to, argh I hate it yellow sheep's wool cannery stained oh with near black roots pretty icky.

Anyway I squirt this runny violet coloured shampoo into the palm of my hand, it instantly starts staining my skin so as quick as I can I run this through my hair and work it into a nice soft lather instantly I feel my hair go hard with hatred for this shampoo. I let it soak for at least 3 minutes while enjoying the clean soft fruity fragrance. Everything around me goes dark purple eek the foam everything, I really give this a good rinse out, I run the water through my hair till it's running clear. Oh my hair feels hard so on with a really good hair treatment then I let it soak.

Lots of hair product to tame my mangled mess while I dry my hair smooth. My hair has taken on a colder platinum blonde with some purple streaks obviously on the more porous hair, the greys in my dark roots don't seem as white. All and all a nice tone away from the yellow, this does the trick to ditch the yellow I wash my hair a bit so I'd say I use this every third wash I will do so still I get lots of low lights sooner than later I hope.

To tone the yellow yes, a cleaner blonde yes, healthier hair no but then the amount of peroxide I had put in it no wonder it goes hard with a lifeless texture of a wet sheep. Does the job well.

I recently went bleach blonde and this is my go to in between a toner at the salon. Don't be scared by the vibrant colour either! I use the shampoo once a week and the conditioner everytime i wash my hair. It is amazing at getting rid of the yellow tones. I do find that it will only work on bleached hair that is very light.

I love this stuff! I find it an economical treatment for in between salon visits as I have been going through the process of lightening my. It is super pigmented so can stain your hands, hair and walls if not careful. I only use it up to 2 x per week between it is super drying on my hair. You get heaps of product for the price too!!

This is one of my staple beauty items which you'll always find in my shower. (for as long as I have blonde hair anyway)

It is quite a concentrated formula and smells divine. A little goes along way, which means the 300ml bottle is great value. You really only need to use this every second or third hair wash if you are a frequent hair washer. I wash my hair approx. 2 times a week so use it normally both times.

This is a great product for keeping my blonde hair looking fresh and I would recommend to anyone with blonde coloured hair wanting rid of brassy/ginger colours that they don't want.

Only downside is that it can dry my hair out a little, so I always try to follow up with a really hydrating conditioner. Most blondes would have this issue with needing good hydration so its probably just a given that you'd use a hydrating conditioner.

It will make your hands go purple but this should be gone by the end of your shower. I've never had an issue with it staining my skin, or hair for that matter.

I have been white-blonde for about 7 years now and fudge's clean blonde is a product that has stayed in my hair care regime since the beginning.

This product is so good for when I'm wanting to hold off going to the salon for another couple of weeks and my dark roots have started to grow out and my cool-toned blonde hair starts to tint back to a horrid yellow colour.

The only reason I am more on a 9/10 than a 10/10 for this product is it can be quite patchy on your hair in terms of the silver tinge. Sometimes I will come out of the shower with purple patches in one area and still a yellow-y tone in other areas.

Love it though!!! If you are blonde you need this in your collection!

This is my absolute favourite shampoo, my hair bottle blonde. I have been using this for over a year along with a violet conditioner and I can say my hair is a far better colour because of it! So much so that I get comments on how nice the colour is looking. And even my hairdresser complemented on how nice the colour is looking and she knows I do it myself. Definitely has taken the brassy look out of my hair. Fudge has the right mix for my hair. Won't be swapping from this shampoo for a while.

Blondes do NOT have more fun! Whoever said that clearly wasn’t blonde! The maintenance is time consuming to say the least. Purple shampoos were ok, toners are overall pretty good but nothing would beat the toner at the salon. Then one day I switched hairdressers and she highly recommended this shampoo and thought it would keep my ashy blonde hair looking pretty tip top.

It comes in a 300ml squeeze tube which sits on its lid. That alone makes me love it, no product wastage! The tube is black and silver with a bright purple lid, it looks stylish and stands out.

The shampoo is a very dark vibrant purple I was almost scared to put it in my hair the first time I used it. It has a very mild scent, it almost smells kind of powdery floral. I wet my hair, wring out as much of the water as I can then apply about a tablespoon of the thick shampoo to my long hair. I let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it out. And wow the foam this shampoo produces is quite insane It feels like it takes forever (thinking the shower is going to run out of hot water ages) afterwards my hair already feels slightly conditioned from the shampoo and doesn’t leave it feeling stripped like some blonde shampoos/toners can do.

After I condition with the matching conditioner I lightly towel dry my hair then take a sneak peak at it and my hair looks a perfect blonde and definitely over time my hair seems to look brighter and more ashy certainly no more unwanted brassy tones. It almost leaves it kind of purple which I do love BUT if you had more of a golden blonde and didn’t want the slight purple colour be very careful.

I first used this several times a week but now it’s only a once a week thing and it keeps my hair well maintained. (I don’t want it too purple) It is quite well priced too, a 300ml bottle costs about $19. I love this shampoo as it does leave your hair looking salon fresh all the time and it also leaves my hair feeling so soft and nourished at the same time so you can’t really lose. I will be repurchasing this for sure.
