I got this as part of a beauty box and, as I usually now use some form of base under my foundation, was keen to try it out. On squeezing out of the tube it appears to be an opalescent thick creme. It applies fairly easily but felt quick thick on my skin, but did make it very smoothe and silky, which was great. i'm not sure if the thickness was putting on to much or my not being used to it. It definitely does do what it says; in that it covers, or blurs, pores and minor skin imperfections. I'm just not sure I like the feel of it. I also found it left a residue on my kabuki brush after I had applied my powder foundation. Again, not sure if this is just my heavy handedness or a problem of it. It's an ok instant fix for problem areas at a good price but I prefer others.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Blur Review
***THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED BY THE BRAND***
New Skin Perfection Magic Touch Instant Blur. Enriched with Optical Blur Polymers the formula optically blurs the appearance of shine, pores and irregularities for a soft-focus finish.
The velvety cream works with your complexion to enhance your natural skin tone. Excellent base for make-up.
In your 20's and 30's your skin is still young but not always perfect. Stress, fatigue and an unbalanced lifestyle can affect skin quality causing irregularities to appear imperfections, enlarged pores and an uneven skin texture.

Tips: Use sparingly on problem areas.
It's a good cheap alternative to some of the more expensive pore fillers. This comes in a handy tube and you squeeze out a small amount and apply it where needed. Don't use too much or it can go quite clumpy and rough looking especially once make up has been applied. As you don't need much it does last quite awhile, I only use it where needed not all over my face.
I find this primer really comparable to the smashbox photo finish pore minimizing primer. It fills in pores well and provides a smooth base for your makeup. Great for smoothing over pores, breakouts and uneven texture. It is a bit of a dryer formula, and can get a bit clumpy if you apply too much. Controls oil to an extent.
I was the lucky recipient of this from Qween Karen.
It comes in a cute tube with a screw on domes lid that was quite nice I thought.
The product comes out brown. I apply it evenly with a slightly heavier hand where my skin is uneven or lined. Then I cover with my Nude Magique foundation. It fills in the 'gaps' very well and leaves my skin as smooth as it can be, before applying foundation.
I like the effect and find it quite good as a concealer-come-primer.
$24.00 seems a fair price as I don’t need to use much at a time.
I notice there’s a wide variance of how people found this product and I’m in the camp of people who like it.
This is my current go to primer it is amazing!! i also use the skin perfection face wash they are both such great products and i recommend them to everyone!!
Firstly the packaging - it comes in a box, so I was unaware of the tube packaging until I opened it & there it was - my nemesis - the round ended cap. grrr. I REALLY don't like these as the tube cannot be stored with the minimal amount of space and it is harder to get all the product out. The rest of the colouring looks nice. The product itself comes out a tan colour, and is quite solid. On applying the colouring disappears and it feels a bit like a mousse. I found I had to use more product than I normally would for a primer. There was some blur, but I found as a primer it was terrible for my skin. Makeup definitely did not stay on as well as using other primers and I think I may have been better off with nothing at all. I did persevere with the blur for at least two weeks, but am now delighted to have another primer on hand so this one can go in the "giveaway/throwaway" box.
I love this product! I don't use it everyday, but for special event makeup it is perfect for flawless skin. I initially purchased it to compare to the Garnier version and it is quite different. The L'Oreal version is a lot thicker and has a flesh tone, rather than the pink tone of the Garnier version. I find it does a great job at "blurring" the appearance of pores and fine lines, and it sits well with other makeup products.
Tips: Don't use too much! A little goes a long way :) I love the whole Skin Perfection range, especially the face wipes and serum!
I really like this. I have large pores and I use it under my estee lauder double wear. I find it helps my foundation last longer and my face feels really soft. There are other primers out there I do prefer but I still go back to this as its cheaper and readily available at most supermarkets and the warehouse. I highly recommend.
Tips: Use the moisturizer from the same range for the softest skin.
At first I really liked this product as it did blur the look of lines on my face and made the pores on my nose look less visible and my skin feel very soft. But once I applied foundation whether it was liquid or mineral powder it was like my skin wasn't dry and within an hour or 2 my make up would start to slide off. I tried many different things just in case it was something I was doing wrong but I think in the end I came to the conclusion that it was the primer making my make up slide off. It's such a shame because when I first apply the primer it looks and feels great.
This is one of my all time favourite primers im so gutted to see its been discontinued. This primer is defiently a velvety cream, when you apply it it feels like its just smoothing everything away. The packaging was always super cute too and it was pretty affordable.
