Have You Used A Cleansing Brush Before?

Even if you're not exactly sure what a 'cleansing system' is, you might be familiar with what they look like.  Picture a giant electric toothbrush you use to clean your face.  They promise to give you a deeper, more cleansing clean and to generally improve your skin.

So, what, you may be thinking is wrong with my $2 flannel or facecloth?  Haven't we been cleaning our faces perfectly well for years?  Do we really need to go electric when our mums did a decent enough job with the old "lick and rub"?!

Well here's the science part.  Cleansing systems have a vibrating head, which combined with a gel cleanser will effectively and efficiently remove dirt, make up and oil.  The vibrating bristles both stimulate and exfoliate the skin, improving circulation and removing dead and dry cells.

Now you might be thinking that these cleansers are aimed at either under 25s or those with problem skin.  Think again.

The new Braun FaceSpa Pro [RRP: $220] is the World’s 1st all-in-one device for epilation, cleansing and skin toning.  You can gently remove facial hair by the root with the epilator attachment for long-lasting smooth skin. The sensitive facial cleansing brush gently removes impurities from even senstive skin. The MicroVibration head works with your serum or cream for skin-toning effects and a better application of your lotions and potions.

You might have guessed by now - we're going to be putting it to the test.  So if it sounds like something you need to try, comment below and tell us why!  Do you currently use a face tool like the FaceSpa Pro?  What feature excites you the most?

I’ve seen cheap face cleansing brushes before. The do intruige me. I do love a good cleanse considering my pores could fit a house in . This tool looks amazing! I would love to trial. I use a silicone pad with tiny bristles and a gentle rosehip cleanser it’s ok but it doesn’t do a deep clean . I bet this feels like a face massage and spa all in one, totalbliss!

Oh what a fab trial.. I’ve only used the olay brush before. This just looks a whole different level! I would love to give this a go!

What an amazing product to trial. I'm most excited by the epilator attachment. The cleansing one too. Ive just started to take extra care with my face so this would definitely be put to the test if I was to trial it.

This looks like a very exciting product! Something i would love to add to my daily skincare routine. I am quite intrigued to use and find out how well the epilator attatchment works. I think i am most excited to use the facial cleansing brush to get rid of the impurites in my skin. Would absolutely love to try this product!

I'd love to try this, I have very problem skin and this would be great for that and help prevent all that congestion that happens.

This would be amazing to trial. Turning 50 soon I have just changed my skin care routine and it has been recommended to use one of these. It would be amazing to trial.

Oh my word this sounds like an exciting product.I would use every attachment! The cleansing brush would help me properly remove the makeup and build up on my face every day. the epilator would be amazing to keep my face hair free. The MicroVibration head would be great for applying my serums. Sounds like the perfect addition to my skin care routine. Everything I am missing!

I've used an Olay cleansing brush before and a Nivea freebie. The Olay was really good, but after a year or so I felt the brush heads needed replacing and I couldn't easily find them.

This is so cool, I'm intrigued by the toning head!

oh so love this. Haven't tried one but would like too. I think just a cleanser doesn't clean skin properly and I am lazy to use scrub every day. This seems ideal for me.

I’ve seen so many influencers and friends use something like this. It intrigues me to hopefully try something that works 10x better than face wash and a flannel. To really clean my skin. I always find myself rewashing my face because I don’t get it all clean in one go. I would love to try something that does it all for me 100x better than I can do myself and then really see the difference in my skin.

No haven't tried 1 of these I would love to try it now I'm getting older I just need something different maybe this is the answer I've been looking for!!!!

Oh my...how pretty! I've never used a cleansing brush before but admired so many and noticed on Instagram that all the 'experts' use them. Balancing the cost with family life its always been put on the backburner for a lotto win. But I've often wonder if it's the little bit of magic to get my 40+ skin glowing and smooth once again. I use flannels now and then but as I age my skin is more delicate so it's a pretty rough form of exfoliation. I'm a serum addict so the microvibration head would be awesome... The epilator would also be amazing ...I'm starting to notice old lady whiskers across the top lip that frustrate me and the hair removal creams are too harsh for my skin and waxing terrifies me.

I use a Foreo silicon sonic cleansing brush. I really like it, but I've never tried an oscillating/rotating brush so I'd be interested in comparing the two types.

This really intrigues me and I'd be so interested to try it out - I haven't been much of one for facial cleansers but I'd love to see if something like this makes a noticeable difference to my skin. The epilator attachment would be really cool to test out.

I can relate to the whiskers :( I get weekly treatments. I wonder how this would work.
