Five Ways You’ve Never Thought To Use A Beautyblender!

Who can remember life before their Beautyblender? Makeup professionals and beginners alike have embraced those little sponges of goodness, and the way they bounce their way to beautiful flawless finishes. But are you doing everything you could be doing with yours? Check out these five amazing uses for Beautyblenders!

Do you swipe your skincare on using your fingers? Show your skin some extra love and apply it with a Beautyblender. Bouncing serums and moisturiser on is so much gentler on the skin than smooshing it on and around with your digits. The Beautyblender can also be used to apply sunscreen too.

Is your Beautyblender coming to the end of its days but you’re not quite ready to toss it out? Use it to create ombre nails! Not only will you get a little more bang for your buck by repurposing the sponge, but also you’ll create a gorgeously soft look.

Like to dye your hair at home and aren’t afraid to try something a little different? Take a leaf out of hair stylist extraordinaire, Jamie Stevens, and use the Beautyblender to strobe your hair. Yes, hair strobing is a thing, and it’s basically just taking your Beautyblender and using it to add colour to your hair where the light hits to make it look shinier. Much like the ombre nails it’s probably best to use an old Beautyblender because you’ll have to chop it in half. I. Know. The horror.

Is there anything worse than getting ready to head out and then noticing deodorant marks on your clothes? (Ok, there are plenty things worse, but it is a pain in the rear.) Well apparently a damp Beautyblender can be used to take out the marks. Just dampen and buff. Now that’s a quick and easy solution we love!

Do your boobs need a boost? Women are now using Beautyblenders to stuff their bras from the outsides, resulting in killer cleavage. One tip, don’t dampen the sponge before doing this…

So there you have it, five uses for a Beautyblender you may well never have thought us. So do tell… what other uses have you discovered for the Beautyblender? Is there anything we need to know about it? Sharing is caring!

Bra stuffing is something I never would've thought of. Never heard of hair strobing sounds cool so have to look that up. I know it can be used for primer but I wouldn't want to use it for my expensive serums and moisturizers or sunscreen since it absorbs quite a bit of product and I like to make sure I have enough spf on.

I never dreamed of repurposing a blender before. Lately I've been using it to put on cream highter. I'll try an ombre nail look with mine. Oh my blender is shedding :0 too. I'm going to try and strech it out to another month. Great ideas here.

There's some great ideas there. I'd use one for my skincare products.

I love the idea of using it for skincare but it's so much faster to slap it on. When I buy a new one I'll have to give it a go!

I didn't know they had one Rajvee. Definitely look that one up.

Oh I can't bear to use the beauty blender with my expensive serum foundation. I'm not letting a sponge suck up that over 100 price tagged liquid, but I do use it for some of the BB creams and the cheaper stuff.

I would think the bra stuffing would be relatively expensive - how many of those would you need for "killer cleavage". I would need the store's entire inventory!

I want to know how they stuff a bra with something as oddly shaped as a beauty blender...

Pifithrin I'm guess you cut it in half and use it as mini chicken cutlets or whatever those things are that people use to stuff their bras.

tannygirl I hadn't even thought of that! That makes way more sense :)
