Do You Want to Try a Cleansing Brush?

17 June, 2019 - 08:09pm by - First Lady | 181 Comments

Have you used a cleansing brush before?  You know, a battery operated gadget that you use with your cleanser to reallllly clean your face.

If you're a bit of a skeptic, sitting there thinking, do I really need to go techno in an area a flannel has sufficed for, well, forever?  I only have three words for you.  YES.  You do.

Cleansing brushes cleanse better than a 'manual' cleanse removing dirt, makeup and oil much more effectively, and efficiently.  They stimulate and exfoliate the skin, improving circulation and removing dead and dry skin cells.   And after all of these benefits, you have one more.   You skin is better prepped to receive the next steps of your skin care routine.  All of those powerful ingredients will be better absorbed by your super-fresh skin.

Of course we have one to put to the test - and it's such a cute one!

The Manicare Sonic Mini Rechargeable Facial Cleansing Brush ($59.99) uses sonic vibration to assist in cleaning impurities from deep within your pores, for a superior cleanse.

It's clinically proven to remove five times more impurities than a manual cleanse and can be used on all skin types - including sensitive.  The compact, light-weight and quiet tool is water-resistant and suitable for use in the shower; and you don't need to worry about batteries - it comes with a charging cable!

You might have guessed by now - we're going to be putting it to the test.  So if it sounds like something you need to try, comment below and tell us why!  Do you currently use a face tool like the Manicare Sonic Mini?

I'd love to see if this would help with combination winter dryness + menopausal (= hormonal breakouts) skin

I've looked at cleansing brushes many times and been so keen to try one out but yes I'm sceptical about if I really need it. I work outside around trains and constant dust so my face always needs cleaning so I'd love to try this wee cutie out please

ive never used a cleansing brush before, i have super sensitive face skin (eczema) so i can't wash or clean my face daily without having some issues, i would love to try this, see if it works for me

I have never tried a brush system like this to cleanse my face so would be keen to try . I have some pitting on my face and this might be just what I need to really cleanse the 70 year old skin

I am loving the idea of the Manicare cleansing brush. I cleanse my day away at night then again after a night sleeping to ready myself for the work day. Have looked at cleansing brushes and always wondered if they would really do more than my old flannel. They make total sense especially the improving circulation. Would love to be chosen to trial this and see if it really does remove the impurities that lurk on/in my skin.

This is such a clever idea and compact as well. I cleanse my face every night but feel like I don't get rid of all those dead skin cells so my skin can look dull. These look like they could be the answer.

I would LOVE to try this! I've seen a few of these on the market and am always looking at ways to get the best out of my beauty products. As well as giving a deeper cleanse it sounds like you would use less product too!? Also, who wouldn't want fabulous glowing skin this winter?!

Have never tried one before but have looked at them in the shops. Think they are a great invention as it is so hard to have totally clean and clear skin.

Yes love to trial this,I am a total sceptic on products like this ,thinking they be a waste of money ,so love to be proved wrong and as I have sensitive skin this seems to tick all the boxes ,be excited to give it a go ,yes please count me in .

I'd love to try this! I've been fighting clogged pores and blackheads for a while now. No amount of exfoliating or clay masks seem to help. I'd love to try this and let you know whether it works on my stubbornly congested skin!

You had me at "all skin types - including sensitive" I'm yet to discover a way to exfoliate and cleanse my skin thoroughly without damaging it or irritating it. This would be absolutely incredible. Yes please xxx

I would really like to try this, I don't currently use an exfoliator as the last time I tried one my skin was aggravated for a few days after. This sounds like the perfect gentle solution to exfoliate without the sensitivity issues afterwards.

I have had the same skincare routine as long as I can remember! I need a change this would be awesome to try!

Im interested . Tell me more .

I'm really interested in this! I don't really have anything in my skincare routine right now to help get rid of dry/dead skin cells and my skin looks dull
