Can a natural product achieve powerful anti-ageing results?

Over the last few years there has been a huge push for natural products.  As demand increases more and more companies are taking man made chemicals and ingredients out of their products and replacing them with, well, plants.

The very nature of a world full of different cultures means home remedies and botanical cures have been used and trusted for years.  And then came the technical revolution.  Medical labs turned their hand to skincare and cosmetics and suddenly what was once an industry based in nature became one of white lab coats and revolutionary technology.

So in today's society of scientific developments and impressive products with proven anti ageing claims, can products really go back to nature and deliver the same results?

Nature's Identity believe that the answer to ageing beautifully exists in nature.  They pride themselves on only using 100% natural, uniquely sourced bio actives and New Zealand native plant extracts.  Their skin care products are handmade in small batches to optimize quality control.

We're putting Nature's Identity Liquid Velvet to the test.  This gorgeous product boasts superior anti-aging and antioxidant properties.  The serum combining nature’s secret for maintaining the elasticity of the skin - it's the ultimate skin rejuvenation in a bottle.

It's a blend of all natural ingredients, including Blackcurrant Seed Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Tamanu Oil, Apple Seed Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba Oil and Olivem 1000.

Liquid Velvet (rrp $75) is so powerful, it will plump and smooth the skin even on its own without the use of moisturisers.  Our trial team will be using it day and night after cleansing the skin to combat dehydrated and aging skin concerns.

If you'd like a spot on this amazing trial team, tell us why below - what are your main skin concerns as you grow older?  Have you tried lots of products in the hunt for youthful skin?  Do you usually go for natural products or are you none too fussed?

Get chatting and you could find yourself taking Liquid Velvet out for a spin!

I have been transitioning over to using mostly natural products for skincare in the hope that I can stave off those pesky signs of getting older. I've had a few fantastic finds and some abysmal flops with the products I've found and tried. Anything that promises anti ageing piques my interest. I have an increasing crepiness across the bottom of the eye socket at the top of my cheeks, so I'm on the lookout for that miracle product that will help plump up this area and ward off any further signs of ageing.

I'll definitely be watching the reviews on this product - I haven't had a day without moisturiser in many many years! And it's natural!

I use a mixture of natural and other products. I tend to use what I find works. I have combination skin

Hi BR Team would love to trial Nature's Identity Liquid Velvet & put it to the test. I could definitely fall in love with a natural product that combats ageing & contains antioxidants to help promote that. I am 41 & am starting to notice fine lines under my eyes, across my forehead & lower parts of my cheeks so of course I am going to go all out for something that can assist with diminishing this. I also tend to find my skin does get dehydrated & some dry patches which become flakey after a period of time (which I have been combatting with Hannah's Bumble Balm & Rosehip Oil). Particularly a couple of area's on my forehead & a dry nose on one side are issues for me. If you knew me well & my friends & family will tell you I am the Queen of cosmetic & beauty products they flow from the bathroom cupboards through to my bedroom & wardrobe & I am always on the hunt for the next best thing. I have recently tried Skin Physics Dragons Blood which I quite like. I am open to both cosmetic versions & natural products. I'm not a fan of anything further than this (i.e. plastic surgery apart from it's expensive is just taking things a little too far & besides look at some of the celebs eventually their face's give way & cave from all the money they spend...Ewwww!!!)...

I am a mother of three beautiful girls, the youngest are 20 month old twins. I can't believe how my skin has changed since having them and how many fine lines (old age) i now have. I love using natural products and would love to trial this product.

I'm wanting to prevent aging of my skin, and the hyluraunic acid in this is great as it will help my parched skin! I'm also a massive fan of using natural products on my skin! There are already enough toxins in the environment in contact with our skin without adding more

This sounds interesting and will be watching for the results. I hate to admit that I have noticed my skin starting to go down hill. It seems highly unfair that someone can have acne like a teenager and get wrinkles at the same time!

I'd love to trial this

I would love to switch all my products to natural but it's really hard to find good products that actually work. I would love to try this product and see if it reduces my fine lines and halts the appearance of more!

I try to use natural products as much as I can, partially because I have sensitive skin, partially because I like to know what goes onto my skin. If it has an ingredient I can't pronounce I'm a bit iffy. As I get older, I would love to find a product that would help with the lines in my forehead and the Gordon Ramsey-esque vertical line between my eyebrows. I have a very expressive face and I have paid the price for it up top for about 10 years (early twenties)

I love natural products and would love to put Nature's Identity Liquid Velvet to the test! I have worked as a Dive Instructor for over 15 years (both here and abroad) and although I used sunscreen, I do have sun damage. At 41 years young, my skin could do with a gorgeous serum to help smooth lines and rejuvenate it! Would love to try, thank you!

I'm trying to find a good product for my ageing skin. I have skin that is becoming dry & has a few lines becoming more defined. So I would love to try this product to see if it can help my ageing skin.

The ingredients sound good enough to eat....in fact we do eat them. So if it's good enough to swallow, it is good enough to put on your skin so it is taken into your system via the pores. As I get older (47) now I look for anti aging products and have tried a variety' with ingredients of very long spelling in them. Maybe this is better?
