Trilogy Age-Proof Botanical Lightening Treatment

I have age spots and nothing has worked, but am always willing to give a sample a try , sooo pleased I did . Trilogy Botanical lightening treatment WORKED. Its a thicker cream and absorbed a bit slower than my moisturizer, smelt healthy ,yummy good ingredients smell. Took about 2 weeks of using it just on the age spots before I noticed any fading . Really would recommend. Now a permanent addition to my routine.

I am a big fan of a number of Trilogy products, including their Rosehip oil and Everything Balm, and was excited to try out the sample size I had of this. This kind of product is not something I gravitate towards at all - 'lightening' is not an effect that appeals to me as my skin is quite even in tone and I don't have mature skin. Had it said 'brightening' I would have been more inclined to try it however.

This has a very planty, herby smell. It's not offensive, just unusual. The product itself is quite greasy, but it does absorbs well and almost leaves my skin feeling taut once it has absorbed.

This has quite a thick texture but leaves the skin with a demi matte finish, which I really like, and would be good as a base under makeup. I did not notice any lightening effect, but I don't have any hyperpigmentation or darker areas of skin.

The pump packaging is great, and uncommon for a thicker cream. I would consider using this again if pigmentation became an issue for me.

I was excited to try this product as I have uneven skin tone and a few darker patches that really bother me. I really love Trilogy products but this one didnt live up to my expectations. I used it morning and night following the directions carefully but I didn't really notice any lightening of my darker patches or evening out of my skin tone. In saying that I did enjoy using the cream as it went on well and absorbed easily and has that trade mark Trilogy fragrance. The tube is easy to use having a pump and it is the usual classy trilogy packaging.

I have only used one tube of this but i noticed that it worked so well. I am young and use it for acne scarring instead of age spots and i found it lightened and faded scars so well. Makes my skin so soft and glides onto my skin so nicely. Its a bit on the expensive side but is definitely worth the price.

I have absolutely fallen in love with triogy products and this one does not disappoint. Glides on skin nicely and leaves skin feeling soft and looking great with a more even skin tone. I have teamed this product up with the trilogy active enzyme cleansing cream and trilogy night cream and my skin is feeling and looking better than I could of ever imagined. Love that it can also be used as a spot treatment

After trialing this one for around two months I found that after the initial outbreaks of pimples and unusual sensitivity of my skin I noticed an overall lightening of my melasma. Also my general skin tone seemed lighter and actually made some blemishes more prominent again. Would be best for me as a spot treatment rather than all over skin care item. Not sure why my skin broke out either, I think maybe the formula is quite rich, but after a few weeks my skin cleared up and I started seeing results It really helped to even out my flaws overtime such as redness and sunspots... and even my dull tired skin looked more healthy

I love most Trilogy products, so I was excited to try this!

I also love supporting New Zealand based products, and I do tend to try to buy more natural based products these days.

Firstly, I like the packaging, and the white tube includes a pump that you can dispense the product which is handy and convenient.

After cleansing my skin I apply this cream over my face. It is very lightweight and non-greasy, which just sinks into your skin. It hydrates it well, and found my skin felt a lot smoother after using this.

My dry, sensitive skin tends to react to certain moisturisers and cleansers, but this product made my skin feel lovely. My dry skin felt moisturised and much more hydrated than before I used this.

Overall I really did like this product. It really helped to even out my skin tone, by smoothing the dry areas on my face. This product under foundation, gave me a lovely healthy glow, with just a hint of a shimmer.

A nice product which I will continue to repurchase.

I've just finished a full tube of this treatment but have to admit I'm a little disappointed. I think perhaps I was asking too much of the treatment and that my pigmentation lays deeper below the skin's surface that this treatment could reach.

As with all the Trilogy products I've used, this applies easily and feels good on my skin - with the added bonus of knowing it's NZ made and uses a range of natural ingredients.

This cream is light and absorbs really fast, a little goes a long way. The mica in the cream does give your skin a subtle brightening glow but that's about it for results as a lightening/brightening cream. I used a whole tube and didn't see my skin any lighter. However I would probably buy it again in the future because it's natural and looks gorgeous under foundation or mixed with foundation if you want a tinted moisturizer and I love the texture as well.
