The lipstick comes packaged beautifully - a nude rounded lipstick bullet with gold accents. 'Mellow' is even etched into the lipstick itself which is a fabulous touch, so the lippy is off to a good start with classy packaging! The lipstick has a lovely vanilla cupcake like scent which adds to the luxury feel of this lipstick. 'Nude' is a pinky-brown shade, definitely leaning towards being mauve so I wouldn't call this a nude but more of a neutral shade. The colour is the perfect shade for wearing to the office - neutral enough to look professional but still bold enough that it makes a statement! The colour glides on and as promised, has a very velvety finish. It has a lovely matte finish that doesn't dehydrate the lips or emphasise every line and flaw on my lips like a lot of matte lipsticks do! It's incredibly flattering, barely requires touch ups throughout my work day (and I drink a lot of coffee!) and is just a dream to wear. It's become a weekly staple in my work make up routine and I love the luxury look & feel this lipstick has. I'd happily repurchase this and am keen to try other colours from the Mellow lipstick range!

Picked this up in the vault yay. When I think of nudes I tend to think a shade of brown/neutral type shade. This pulls a warm deepish pink. Not that I mind cause it still looks great on my medium skin tone. Lovely matte formula. Have had compliments while wearing this shade.
Would definitely repurchase when I've used this up.
The lipstick goes on smooth and stays on - I’m fair with red undertones to my skin and find it hard to get a good shade and i love this colour - got compliments straight away! Love the way my lips feel with it on
Tips: Matt can be a bit flat so I add a little gloss if I need it but at least I have the choice
Was just recently gifted this shade to add to my extensive collection of Mellow lippies and it’s getting a lot of love from me. It’s such a perfect colour, for when you want to be a bit extra, but not over the top. It goes with everything and I adore that. These creamy matte lipsticks are wonderful, and last for ages. The triangular tip allows you to get right in there, and I’ve never had much success with creating a fuller lip effect but I can with this. Super good for my poor dry lips, too!
This lipstick is a beautiful shade (although more dusty rose than nude). It looks stunning on and has reasonable staying power.
Like all Mellow's lipstick packaging, it has the classic gold trimming. And right from opening it, you feel like you're about to wear something classy.
It wore well, but was definitely more matte than creamy. I expected the application to be a little more smooth than it was.
I absolutely love the colour so I possibly would get again.
