L'Oreal Color Riche Volume Matte Lipstick (vault shade sent at random)

I got the opportunity to trial this product thanks to BR. I received the colour 'Wood Nonchalant' which looks like a nude colour, but goes on a bit darker, or 'intense'. It seems almost weird seeing dark or bright colour on my lips after three years of not wearing anything! It will take some getting used to. First off, the package is very luxe. Matte black and gold, slim and feels very nice to hold. The lipstick applies beautifully, glides on and feels moisturising. It does plump the lips somewhat, not too much, just enough. This colour actually reminds me of Revlons 'Toast of New York' shade, which was my go to colour back in the day. I did find it a bit dry feeling after a while, but less than other matte lippys. The staying power was average, re-application after eating was required, but it didn't come off on my cup when having a cuppa.

Felt moisturised and also had the matte look. great for everyday or something more subtle for a night out. Great to carry around in my purse and I love the stick format! I will be using this again!! <3

With mask mandates lifting lipstick is once again my new friend!

This is a beautiful long lasting formula and the narrow shape of the lipstick makes it super easy to apply.

I wore this for over 8 hours ( and ate) and never needed to reply. A perfect lipstick for teachers!

Off to buy some more colours!!

I was super excited to be part of this trial! I chose the colour Rosy Confident. The packaging is gorgeous, a slim line almost velvet soft feeling and gold inner. The lipstick itself seems a bit small, but the pricepoint is quite low to make up for it. No strong scent, just your standard lipstick smell.

The colour is lovely and the lipstick glides on smoothly and because of the slim line design, can be used with precision to get the outer corners and cupids bow. Now here is my struggle - I don't find this either matte or volumising! There is no shine, but I would not have jumped to thinking it is a matte product. It is also NOT smudge proof and although the high pigment lasts quite well, the transfer is very apparent and all my mugs/glasses had obvious colouring on them from drinking.

This is definitely moisturising and my lips didn't have that parched sensation many others give me, but I also think that's because its not a very matte effect product.

Overall, I do love this lipstick and have enjoyed wearing it daily, and I will definitely look for other colours to try when this one is finished!

I really liked how sleek it was, small thin black square tube, which is just the right size for purses or even pocket. When you twist the lipstick up it has an imprint which made me not want to use it so it would stay there and it didn’t have a nasty waxy smell like some other lippy do.

After trying it I didn’t feel like I was wearing a heavy lipstick felt more like I was just wearing a lip balm wasn’t drying and the colour lasted pretty well. Can’t wait to try some of the other colours

I love this L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick. # The presentation and the design: it is in a black slim packaging and there is a “R” engraved monogram which gives me a very stylish and elegant impression. # The texture and the color: it is powdery matte finish on my lip. It says that it lasts up to 16 hours. After applying the lipstick, my lip feels moisturised (not feeling dry) also non-transfer and non-smudged. I really loved that kind of matte feeling. I chose number 241 ( Coral Irrevere) and this color brighten up my face! # The ingredients that benefit the lips: Hyaluronic Acid// Argan Oil// Jojoba Oil. According to my experience of using it, these ingredients did benefit my lip and my lip looked volumed. Also it is very easy to apply on my lip.

I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick! First of all the packaging is lovely, it feels very luxe, the soft touch matte black tube with gold accents is reminicent of Chanel and I'm here for it. The lipstick itself is soooo creamy, it's very pigmented and the colour is completely saturated so only needs 1 application. I really like the slim stick and found it much easier to apply cleanly than traditional sized lipstick. I wouldn't say it dried to a complete matte finish, more like a soft velvet finish. I love that it did not feel dry on my lips and did not flake. Reasonably long lasting without doing that horrible thing where it wears uneven, I found it wore quite evenly. No bleeding or smudging but I would not say it's completely transfer proof. Overall very impressed and have already purchased in a different shade. Highly reccomend! Especially over liquid matte lipstick, this wins hands down.

This felt nice to apply and didnt bleed. I believe you can feel the moisterisers it contains when applying. It lasts until mid afternoonish before needing to be reapplied. The colour I chose was nice though slightly different than pictured, though this could be the computer monitor. I would purchase this in different shades. I received my colour choice of #603 nonchalant. It was a beautiful colour and I'm pleased with my choice. I love the stylish tube it comes in, it has a soft outer covering that feels nice to hold in to. The lipstick goes on very smoothly and sets a little bit HOWEVER, it came off onto everything! I kissed my husband on the check and it transferred, I had a cup if tea, it went onto the cup, I wiped my hand across my face by accident and it smeared. I like a matte lipstick that stats put, this one did not, at all, and to use it I would have to use a base powder or a sealant to keep it on and I don't have time to mess around doing that. I was excited to try this lipstick, but feel a little bit let down by it's performance, I guess I expected more from the L'Oreal brand. I would not recommend this particular lipstick to others based in my trial, which is a shame since it really is a lovely colour.

Thanks to BR for sending me this to review. I requested colour 480 Plum Dominant, as I was looking for a deep plum statement colour. The bullet is a slim, black, soft-touch finish, with gold accents and feels like a good quality item.

On first swatch, the pigmentation is good, and there appears to be no staining.

On wearing, lip texture shows up if the lips aren't well moisturised and/or exfoliated beforehand, but this is common with a lot of matte lip products in my experience.

Coverage and pigmentation are good on the lips. I found that without lip primer this product is pretty comfortable and not too dry, lasts around 1-2 hours without touch ups with normal wear (sips of water, no eating), and responds well to touch-ups without pilling off the lips. When used with a primer (I used ColourPop lippie stix lip primer), I find it has a bit better wear and is a little more comfortable, but still requires pretty regular touch-ups.

Mixes well with other lip products- I did some gorgeous ombre lip looks with Revolution Pro, Morphe, and Revlon products and they layered beautifully.

I didn't find it to be transfer proof, as it left smudges on water glasses, coffee cups, and masks even when allowed to dry down, and smudged across my face if my hair got caught in it.

Overall, a nice and comfortable lipstick with good pigmentation, I personally found it didn't live up to the smudge-proof claims, but I'll still enjoy wearing it, and there's lots more I'd still like to try with this lipstick.
