Going out for coffee or lunch with mom. I haven't decided what to get my mom and dad for mother's and father's day this year. I usually want to give them a practical gift. Last couple of years it's been some quality sheet sets but they have enough this year so trying to come up with something new.

That sounds nice Tanny girl. Time is the best gift! My boys are overseas so I am treating myself to chocs and a movie :)

My son is coming over tonight to cook dinner (secretly hoping he brings Indian takeout). As long as he visits and brings me scorched almonds, it’s the best Mother’s Day!

i sent my mum a trio of travel sized Antipodes products and a package of Japanese treats called Yatsuhashi. The Yatsuhashi are my absolute fave Japanese sweet treats - basically Japanese cinnamon wafers and I introduced Mum to them 20 years ago when she and dad visited 17 year old exchange student Japanese schoolgirl me... so theyre special.

I couldnt be there today but amgoing up for 3 days next week so I’ll take her up some flowers or something then

I didn't get to see my mum today as an out of town for a funeral. I rang her this morning though and we had a good catch up which was nice.

I messaged my Mum this morning. Have a new coffee cup to post to her, was super busy at work last week and didn't get a chance to post. We had a combined mothers day dinner and Husbands birthday dinner last night.
Mum's, you are all special, dont you ever forget that xx

The timing of Mother's Day was not great this year as we just lost my Nana a couple of days ago so it was forgotten amongst everything going on.
