I've found that my fingers are best for applying cream or gel blush's and liquid highlighters. It's easier to get a seamless blend with my fingers, a brush seems to be a bit trickier.
I liked the Revlon Photoready Cream Blush, but I think it's been discontinued.
Model Co. Cheek & Lip Tint is a gel, which is more on the sheer side. Great if you're wanting a barely there make-up look.
