Surprisingly impressive

I am someone who is always trying to get rid of excess hair! I was over the mood to finally find a cheap alternative to salon waxing. When purchasing this wax I was very spectacle. Every other supermarket wax I have brought has either burnt me, stuck to my skin or didn't pull any hair off!

There is many great features to this wax. One of the things I loved was that the spatula told you if the wax was too hot or not.

Part of the reason why I hate doing wax by myself is the sticky residue that you have and can't seem to get off your skin afterwards. Not with this wax! It comes off with water!!

The only minus I can this of is that there isn't enough fabric strips in the box.

Tips: Be patient, you may have to keep heating the wax up if you are doing a large area!

Easy to use

I have used this wax a few times, its pretty easy to use and delivers. I do find that you can end up going through quite a lot per use.

Average

I had never even considered waxing, until I saw this product on special and thought i would give it a try (this was at least a year ago). I had always been a razor girl so was interested in how I would find a waxing kit.

This product comes with the wax in a big white tub. The tub has a twist off lid (which can be hard to get on and off and the wax residue can harden and make it stick). The tub is boring, and nothing special. It also comes with a spatula, which has a heat temperature spot which lets you know if the wax is too hot to use (something that i found really handy), and it comes with fabric wax strips as well.

The wax is slightly darker than golden syrup, and an almost solid consistency. Once heated the consitency turns into a thin runny honey, which makes it really easy to spread thinly. Then its easy to place a strip down, rub it over the wax, pull skin tight with one hand and remove the strip with the other,

This product definitely isn't painless (but easily bearable), and removes about 80% of the hair on the first go, so i find you do have to go over the same spot more than once which makes my skin a bit tender.

There are some issues with this product. I find there actually arent enough wax strips to wax my entire legs, especially when i have to wax spots more than once. I find that i actually use a lot of wax as well, which means this is not a cost effective option for me. The wax also cools down really quickly, which is annoying because then you have to reheat it.. and wait for it too cool down and it's really time consuming.

On a positive note, it does remove hair and provide long-lasting results, as well as the residue wax spots being easily removes with a warm wet flannel.

Overall, this product has as many pro's as it does cons. Its a nice product, but the design and kit needs a bit more thought, and using this requires patience which I don't always have.

Tried and True

I have been using this product for years. It comes with 10 cotton strips and an applicator. You can heat this in the microwave or in a pot of warm water. I find that 40 seconds in the microwave for a full jar is enough (just make sure you mix the very hot centre into the edges).

I get mixed results every time I use it. But I think the results depend on how long the hair is and how warm the wax is. But practice makes perfect.

It smells pleasant and I have had no issue with sensitive skin.

Tips: You can reuse a strip more than once in one sitting. I find I can use one strip three times before I need to continue with a new one.

Make sure you pull your skin tight and dont use really hot wax otherwise you can end up with big nasty blood blisters on the inside of your thigh if doing the bikini line.....

Ouch!

Before this product the only thing that I waxed was my eyebrows and we'll not even I did those!

However a friend had mentioned this product that she tried as she wasn't confident going to a salon and getting her legs done, this is what she used. In light of our conversation and how, quick and easy it was to do and in the privacy of your own home (if you needed to let out a tear you could) I decided why not give it a go?! After all I'd rather not have to shave MG legs every 2nd day!

The packaging? A cube cardboard box inside a tub of wax, cotton strip and a stick which has a heat spot on it (resembles a iceblock stick but thicker). I was surprised by the cotton strip I was expecting, well not cotton lol

So basically you heat the product up in the microwave (in my microwave 50 seconds did the trick) pop the stick in the wax if it's too hot the heat spot will go black, spread it evenly over an area of your leg. Place the cotton over the wax on your leg, give it a good rub so the wax and cotton are jelled well together, pray for the best and well rip.

I will admit this took me a couple of times to see any result. The first couple of times I tried the wa x didn't stick well to the cotton so no hairs came out, the wax wasn't hot enough the second time. On my third attempt Hello!!!!!

In all honesty my only issue with this product is I think the wax is too thick and it cools down super quick and I found my self re heating it often.

The only reason I don't like this product is I'm not one for pain and I really like shaving over having the hairs yanked out of my legs.

Easy to use

This is easy to use, put in the microwave for about 45 seconds mix and the heat bit on the stick will tell you if it's to hot. I had mixed results, probably because I didn't let the hairs grow long enough

Gets the work done.

When I first go my legs waxed I liked the smooth feeling so much that I decided to buy this to try at home. (I didnt have spare $55 for waxing every month)

As the description says, try this if you have enough time because sometimes it does take a while. The wax comes in a pot with heat sensitive stick/spatula and cotton strips all packaged inside a cardbox.

The wax is pretty hard and dark brown. Smells like honey and sugar. You need to zap it in the microwave for a minute or so depending on the microwave voltage and the amount of product in the tub. I made sure my skin was dry (no moisturiser or oil) and the work area was covered with newspaper.

The wax should be like thick runny honey. Always test on wrist for correct temperature. Apply towards the hair growth and before it cools rub the cloth on it to make it stick. Holding the skin taut pull against the hair growth. The strips can be used atleast three times before it stops picking up hair. Might have to use twice in an area depending on the hair type. Although be careful if you have fragile skin. It leaves my legs feeling smooooothhh. I just clean off the residue with warm flannel and apply a rich moisturiser. I used it for my underarms as well. Wont work very well if deodorant is not washed of properly.

The two things I am not happy with is that the wax cools down quickly especially in winter and I have to keep warming it. Also the wax strips never enough. I find that its easier to save the previous boxes strips by washing it in hot soapy water and keeping it for next time. It does clean up nicely but use only for your own personal use. I also cut the strips in half for my underarms.

Its a good product overall and I still have one in my cupboard.

Smooth legs.

I hates shave my legs often so I always prefer wax for long last results. When you do wax hair growth less and its up to 4 or 5 weeks no hair on skin. I bought it from countdown and its cost me 14.99$. Veet warm wax comes in white microwaveable white jar with screw lid. Also some wax stipes and spatula. Only one thing I hate it is less wax strips otherwise perfect companion for me. 375g jar is enough for full hand and legs so it is pretty standard. Read instructions properly before use it

Wax is nice thick dark colour. Warm it up 1 minutes for nice liquidy consistency and make sure you check wax temperature before put on skin. Spatulas has temperature indicators however everybody has different temperatures tolerance level.

I prefer wax in bathroom to prevent stickness everywhere or put the newspaper in kitchen floor. I use butter knife for spread the wax on my skin instead of spatula. Spatula doesn't work for me.

Apply the wax on skin, put the stipe on it, dab dab it properly and pull it of... Ouchh but done....lol. I do it myself but I prefer somebody to pull it of for me because I take to much time to things to pull it of. I use One stripe two or three times. Overall good product for me because I have black thick hair and its work for me. May next purchase will be salon style stripless wax. I like veet product.

Tips: Always check temperature and pull it of stripe against hair growth.

Best Warm Wax!

I have tried many different warm wax products for my bikini line, and this is the only one that works just like a professional! It is easy to heat up, goes on smooth, and gets all the fiddly little hairs out. I have used it on fine hair, coarse hair, shaved hair - always works wonders! For the price (around $15) I use it 2 - 3 times before replacing the tub.

Tips: While you are waxing your legs or bikini - you may aswell do your eyebrows! Use an Orange Stick (those ones for your nails) to carefully apply to your eyebrow area to quickly whip away the little fuzzies!
