OPI Top Coat Review

Oh i am a huge OPI fan, maybe even a little bias as all i have is OPI. I went for ages without worrying about a top coat as i thought just the colour outlasted all other brands i have tried. But there was a farmers special where you got this free with a colour. It does make it lovely and shiny and makes it last sooo long. I havnt looked back and use this every time.

I adore this top coat - I've been using it for years, and it is amazing at making cheap nail polish look super expensive! It has an amazing shine factor to it, and it doesn't suffer from chipping or that 'peeling' feeling you can get from other top coats.

The bottle is the typical OPI bottle shape, designed to easily get to the polish (even when you're starting to hit the bottom of the bottle). The brush is a nice size - I can usually get my nail covered in two dips into the polish. If there was a negative to be found with this polish, I do notice that the top gets a bit crusty after a while - but this is a small thing.

I'm a big fan of OPI as a brand, but if I was told I could only buy one OPI product for the rest of my life, this would definitely be the product. It's very effective at sealing the nail polish and keeping it on.

I scored this during a farmers promotion buy one OPI polish and get the top coat free, only reason why have it lol I usually use cheap top coats but after using this once I will never go back to cheap again. Why, because it truly seals in your polish, it really adds a shine to every colour and your polish stays put longer. I can truly say its worth it, one coat goes a long way and your polish will last longer before it needs touch ups or repainting.

My friend left me this nail polish when she went overseas (I had been using another clear topcoat from another brand for years, convinced that I should use my budget with OPI on their awesome colours) — oh my goodness, I wished I bought this way earlier. Usually my names start chipping my day 3, it's been day 7 and the edges still look clean as! As a top coat it adds a shiny sheen to your colours, and does not take very long to dry. Definitely going to repurchase when this runs out!

OPI is my favourite brand when it comes to nail polish, so naturally I was going to get a top coat from the brand. The top coat is clear and is contained in 15ml glass bottles, which are used for their nail polish as well. I bought this at Farmers as I was lucky to have earned a beauty voucher with my club points.

After two coats of nail polish had dried on my nails, I applied just a thin layer of top coat over it. It gave it a nice shine and helped the nail polish last long. I prefer a thin layer as it dries faster. The quality is great as it makes the nail polish last few days before it starts to chip away.

It’s a bit expensive for a small bottle, but I don’t often wear nail polish, so my bottle is still almost full even though I bought it over a year ago. This is perfect for a nail fanatic as a final touch for the nails.

I like to use a nice polish on my nails but un until I started applying this OPI top coat I found I needed to re apply polish every one to two days which was so annoying.This top coat just seals the deal for me as it not only gives a lovely glossy finish it protects the coloured polish under the top coat and my polisk then looks great for several days.This is so easy to apply and drys quickly and just gives that professional finish. I really love this product.

This is one of my favourite top coats to use. I NEVER wear nail polish without a top coat. Applying this top coat over any nail polish extends the duration of the polish and I find it lasts at least 5 days before chipping. Usually wear this top coat over my Sally Hansen, OPI and only nail polishes as they are the brands that I tend to wear the most. This top coat keeps my nails looking fresh for the full week.

I also love how much shine this top coat adds to my nail polish. The gloss is insane. It adds so much shine that I can see my reflection. It will turn any cheap or dull polish underneath into looking like a high quality salon manicure.

I get compliments from my friends thinking that I got my nails done at a salon or that it's gel polish. Nope, just regular polish which I applied myself! It gives me salon quality nails for less than half the price, bonus! OPI polishes are quite expensive, but in my opinion they are definitely worth it as the bottles are quite big and will last you ages. It is definitely worth taking the extra time to apply a top coat (you do have to set aside time to paint your nails and I do often get impatient especially having to wait for each coat to dry), but the top coat makes your polish last a lot longer.

This polish comes in the typical OPI bottle, a rounded glass v shaped cylinder. I like how the OPI brushes are nice and big as it enables it to pick up a decent amount of polish preventing you from having to dip the brush back in the bottle. The brush is flat which makes it easy to apply the polish in three even strokes (or one for my pinky).

The formula is really nice and smooth to apply, even if the polish underneath is not quite smooth, the top coat always dries as a smooth layer.

This top coat has become a regular I put over any nail polish I wear and I will definitely be repurchasing this when I run out. I would highly recommend investing in this top coat as it makes even the cheapest low quality nail polish look like a salon manicure.
