I picked this up in a Skinfood beauty bundle to try. The product is packaging beautifully, the product comes in a white and green matte cardboard box, with the cream itself in an elegant white bottle which has a flat pump. The packaging is deceptively large though, the box was quite big and the cream's packaging itself has a lot of extra layers of plastic on it and it's only half filled. I was disappointed with the excessive packaging even though it looked nice and that the product only contains 50mL of product, given this has a high RRP for a Skinfood/supermarket product. The cream itself is a peach colour with the classic lovely citrusy Skinfood fragrance. I found I needed to use quite a bit of cream, but the pump is nice as it prevents wastage. The downside to the pump though was that due to its flat design, when product was pumped out it would go all over the pump, and residue of the cream would stick to the pump, dry out and congeal on there, so you have to wipe the pump off every time you use it otherwise it gets blocked with old product easily. The cream itself was nice and hydrating, it has almost a silicone like texture that reminded me of primer a bit, but this texture made it difficult to wear with make up. On its own, this left my skin feeling really nice and hydrated, but I found if I tried to wear it with foundation the cream would kind of pill a bit and crumble off of my face. I thought this did a nice moisturising job and the cream definitely smelled great and felt luxurious to use, but I didn't notice any amazing effects and didn't feel like the hyaluronic acid was doing anything wonderful for my skin. However, I am in my 20s and might not be in the demographic for the anti-ageing ingredients to show much of an effect possibly. Overall I thought this was nice and it was okay as I got it affordably in the bundle, but this contains so little product and has a high RRP and did nothing amazing for my skin, so I don't think it's that great and I'd only repurchase if it was in a bundle or on sale cheap. I think there are other moisturisers for a lower price that do a lot more for the skin.

A moisture enhancing & antioxidant packed cream, rich in Hyaluronic Acid, CoQ10 & naturally replenishing extracts to plump, deeply hydrate & protect skin throughout the day and night. Featuring a hygienic airless pump jar to keep your product clean and free from contamination.
Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that plumps and hydrates the skin by retaining water up to 1000x its own weight in moisture. Combined with CoQ10 to help energise cell activity along with a powerful blend of antioxidant rich Raspberry, Cranberry, Pohutukawa, Grape and Kiwifruit to help protect from pollution and environmental stressors that cause the visible signs of ageing. This ultra-rich yet fast absorbing moisturiser will help to nourish and smooth, replenishing skin for a youthful, supple look.
HOW TO APPLY:
Push down on the white cap to pump cream. Warm cream between fingers and smooth over skin after cleansing and applying serum.
Vegan friendly, clean & natural, cruelty free.
Tips: Leave to soak in to the skin for a long time before applying make up, as this tends to pill when used with foundation.
I'm a big fan of Skinfood products, and was super excited to see an Ageless range introduced. I had to have this moisturiser. It doesn't stipulate when you use this one, but with all the nourishing/hydrating properties I used it both day and night.
The pump jar is fantastic. I love those dispensers. The cream itself is somewhere between a gel/cream - but when applied it seems quite thick. The moisturiser definitely has a fruity smell to it - and it isn't the traditional white moisturiser - it's a beige colour.
One pump is plenty, but I found I needed to wait a bit for it to totally absorb. Once absorbed my skin felt great. Applying makeup over it was a real problem for me, hence saying this is great for night time. My makeup pilled, and slid around over top of this moisturiser. I couldn't really get it to work - so I gave up, and decided this was the nigh time moisturiser.
For night time, it works really well. You let it absorb and do it's thing. In the morning my skin did feel hydrated, and my skin a little plumper. I feel like with all of those ingredients, letting them work while you sleep is the best use of the product.
I like it, and have nearly finished the container - I'm unsure on repurchasing - it is pricey, and some of their basic range just perform better for the price. I do love that they have a whole range of Ageless products though, so will be trying more.
