Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Nude Review

I was given the opportunity to try the Garnier Self-adjusting BB cream. I have always liked Garnier products and this was no exception. The product packaging is nice however the tube is not sealed by the manufacturer. The BB cream comes out white and once applied onto the skin, transforms into a shade that matches your skintone. That is the part I like the most. The coverage is light but it actually does a good job of evening out the complexion. The product absorbs well. The smell is light and pleasant. It contains SPF15 which is an added plus. I like the fact that it contains Vitamin C with antioxidant properties. I didn't have to reapply at all during the day. I really like this product and will definitely consider repurchasing and recommend to others.

Reasonable product. I have used other brands that do the same and I believe they are better. Smells really nice and very easy to apply. Light on you skin. Quick drying.

I was really excited to try this product because I have seen another on the market before where it is a universal shade! I know BB creams are more on the lighter coverage side, but I have used many BB creams in my time and this one was definitely more on the "natural" side and felt as though it didn't really give much coverage to what I am usually happy with from a BB cream. This would be suitable for someone who prefers a VERY natural coverage with SPF! I was concerned with how it stated "transforms to match skin tone" as I usually fake tan (my body, not my face), and also my face is so much paler than my body normally anyway because I try to protect my face from the sun. So I usually wear a BB cream that is SLIGHTLY a darker shade than my face colour, to match my neck and rest of my body. This surprisingly matched to my neck and body quite well! My face wasn't as pale as I had anticipated it would be with the "self adjusting" shade. I do have a more yellow undertone in my skin, so I am not sure if it would suit all skin tones if this is what happens for everyone? Overall I was unfortunately disappointed with the product for my own personal use as an everyday BB cream, as it didn't give me a "flawless healthy glow". I would probably only use this product in the summer if I was swimming at the beach/lake. Something easy to throw on and give my face a little bit of colour while protecting it with the SPF, and I can throw it on as soon as I dry off from a swim too.

I use this BB cream mixed with moisturiser everyday as a base for my makeup. I find it most useful for evening out my skin tone - not providing flawless coverage like it says. It is nice and lightweight so works really well as a makeup base for me. I love that it has SPF 15 in it and found that the colour matching worked great for my fair skin tone.

I have freckles and sensitive acne prone skin. So I find it hard to pick the right color for my skin, and am prone to breakouts with many products. Seeing this self adjusts to your skin tone and it has products in like vitamin c I thought this would be amazing to try. It was pretty cool putting on a white cream and seeing it turn brown and it looked fantastic with my freckles, looked very natural. As I am currently recovering from a breakout I put on two layers like it suggested and it hid quite a few of the pimples etc. it lasted all day and still looked great. I didn’t need to put a primer on before it either as it went on beautifully. It dried almost instantly it was so easy to apply. I will definitely be buying this in future. It didn’t aggravate my breakout or make them worse, it seemed to actually help heal them. It does have a perfume scent which I found nice. It would be great for people who have trouble finding the right shade of foundation like me. I do like the two layers more than just putting it on once, it seemed to cover my blemishes that way. I got this BB cream in a BBBE (I think) but didn't take any notice of it until I happened to notice the advert on TV and thought, "hmmm, so that's what it does?". So then I dug it out and started using it.

The product comes in a simple plastic tube. It is a thick white cream, which is surprising in itself. Once applied to skin, it changes colour to look like a normal BB cream or foundation. So it does this quite well, except that is looks streaky and needs a close up mirror and a lot of blending to make sure it's even. That's still fine, but I notice it's quite orange which is odd on my very pale skin. It comes off looking a bit like fake tan in the end. My friends did comment that it looks fresh and bright though. I did notice it doesn't cover imperfections, so works better with a CC cream underneath.

I has a nice subtle scent, which doesn't really matter in a BB cream, but better that than a horrid smell!

I don't think I'll purchase it again, mainly because of the streaking and the orange glow.

I was surprised when I went to use the BB Cream that it was white, no pigment at all,but it covers the skin beautifully. It has a light, creamy texture and went on smoothly with no obvious lines of where it had and hadn’t been applied. With skin that is now a little bit older, it covered fine lines and slight imperfections beautifully. I applied two applications of it and it is so light compared to my usual foundation. For summer and weekends this is perfect to use before applying the rest of my make-up.

It has a light scent which is nice and not too strong. It comes in a small, easily transportable bottle and the price point is very cost effective. I will pop the Garnier skin perfector BB cream in my handbag and another on the boat as it will be handy to put on after being in the sun or the water. The SPF15 is an added bonus to help keep my skin protected.

I found after three days that I preferred the cover it provided which looks natural compared to my heavy foundation and will certainly look forward to using it through the summer season.

I would recommend this product to those with both young and aging skin as it has the protection of SPF, is light, provides good cover and is reasonably priced.

This bb cream comes out of the tube white in colour which is a surprise but once you start applying it to your face, colour is released and it turns to a bronze colour. It is incredibly sheer and won’t cover up pigmentation issues etc but it does add a lovely glow to the skin. The scent is nice and fresh.

I used Garnier Skin Perfector BB cream everyday since receiving it. I love the feel of the cream. It matched my skin perfectly, is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I especially like how it doesn’t feel like I am wearing a lot of makeup but it still looks like I am. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be using again.

I bought a tube of Garnier Nude Effect BB Cream, even though I wasn't really a huge fan of the last Garnier BB Cream I used, which was their Anti-Ageing BB Cream, back in July 2016.  I found the Anti-Ageing one to be very greasy on my naturally oily skin, so I was very hesitant to try another Garnier BB Cream.

I'd read so many reviews on this Nude Effect BB Cream before finally purchasing a tube for myself.  Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from it, considering my past two experiences with Garnier's BB Creams, and all the reviews were very conflicting.  Some said it was greasy, others loved it; some said it was orange, others said it blended perfectly with their skin tones; and some said the smell was overpowering, while others didn't even comment on the scent.

I have to admit, after trying it for myself, this is one of the better BB Creams I've tried from Garnier, and I'm actually considering getting another tube, which says a lot!  This Nude Effect BB Cream lives up to all its promises on the box, and it doesn't have the greasy sit-on-the-skin feel that the others have had.

Firstly, a little more about the product.  The info on the box says, "The secret to perfect skin in one simple step.  Discover the secret to naturally perfect skin with new Garnier BB Nude Effect.  Self-adjusting mineral pigments adjust to match your skin tone for an effortless healthy glow.  The lightweight formula provides instant natural coverage, without the feeling of wearing any make-up."

When squeezed out of the tube and rubbed between the fingertips, the white textured cream containing a universal shade of mineral pigments begins to transform to a skin matching tone.  It's great to use on days when I have an early start and don't really have the time to apply separate layers of moisturiser, sunscreen, primer and foundation.  I simply apply the BB Cream and I'm all set to pop the rest of my make-up on.

Yes, the coverage is light, but it does even out skin tone, and I find that with a small pearl sized amount (slightly bigger than a pea), I get the perfect amount of coverage with out being too sheer.  If I use too much product, it can start to look a little orange.  This was the only trial and error during the first few days of use - figuring out exactly how much was perfect for my skin and the coverage I wanted.

It leaves my skin glowing and hydrated, it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation marks, as well as other little imperfections.  The built-in SPF15 protects skin from UV rays, while still being lightweight and allowing skin to breathe.
