I find this foundation to be like a loyal, reliable friend: it’s affordable, a decent brand, and it adequately hides imperfections - especially redness and/or mild acne. It is a foundation you can use daily. I now feel naked if I leave the house without it on because I have come to rely on it as part of my daily beauty regime.

Tips: I apply a moisturiser to my skin first, then mascara and then I use an under eye, dark circle concealer before applying this product to my skin.
I have been using this foundation on and off since I was 17. I swear they have changed it however as it seems to be medium coverage now and 10 years ago it used to be a lot thicker. I love this foundation for the price and the coverage is quite good. However, I have combination skin and it doesn’t stop my face from looking oily. You can buy this foundation from many places which I like. The pump bottle is much more convenient also.
Tips: Use a powder overtop.
Loved the colour stay. So easy to apply and it kept my face covered all day especially those spots that you don't want exposed. I was really impressed. Usually make up wears off the nose but not colourstay. It maintained full coverage. It is nice to come home looking great instead of make up half gone. Highly recommended for the working Mum!!
Tips: Make sure your moisturiser has had time to sink in first before applying foundation
love the shades for Cooler skin tones, I’m 150 Buff and it is perfect. Coverage is around medium. I would love if they done this formula in a full coverage! Price point is good. I’m on my second bottle so that says something in itself. Great Day foundation.
After reading all the good reviews thought I would go buy me a bottle. Expensive! Terrible colour choices, I found most we're pink based and I have warm skin so color matching was hard, didn't help when the beauty consultant matched me totally wrong lol my silly fault though. But I did purchase Australis lightening drops which helped a little but now colour looks too grey. Anyway as for staying power on hot days doesn't stay put. So I'm still on the hunt for the perfect foundation.
I have this shade in 110 Ivory.
I was colour matched at the revlon counter at my local farmers to this shade, and its a pretty good colour match. I was quiet impressed with this as I find it really hard to find foundation that matches.
I also appreciate that this comes with a pump, lifes too shirt to be messing around with foundation bottles. I use around a pump to a pump and a half for my face depending on how much coverage I want.
This foundation has a pretty liquidy constancy, which I don't mind, it is easy to blend out and whilst it does dry down, it doesn't do it so quickly it is difficult to blend. Powder products apply quiet nicely over the top and I don't find that I need to set this with a powder. I find it is best blended out with a sponge.
The coverage of this foundation is light medium at best. If you had skin that was relatively free from blemishes You would be able to get him medium coverage. I have a lot of blemishes and redness, this does cover most of my uneven skin tone and minor blemishes but I still need concealer. I wouldn't recommend building this foundation up too much as it can look a bit cakey. This also breaks up and separates on me throughout the day. It doesn't look terrible, but if you look closely you can defiantly see it separating and breaking up, especially on my forehead and chin. I typically notice it starting to break up after 4-5 hours.
Despite it breaking up on my skin it does still look nice if you are standing a bit further away. Someone having a conversation with you probably wouldn't be able to notice it. It does also transfer a little bit, but I haven't noticed this rubbing off or anything. This also does nothing to control my oil. Whilst I don't look oily I can defiantly feel it on my skin.
Overall, I am really impressed with the colour match of this foundation, but its nothing amazing. I use this foundation every day at work so I will continue to use it until the bottle is gone, but I wasn't wowed by it so it is unlikely I will repurchase.
Tips: Blends out best with a damp sponge.
This gives great coverage, the color matches are wonderful the range is large and its the only product i have used for 4 years now!
Tips: Apply with a sponge it goes further! and it can be tricky to wash off your hands.
Revlon is great for being easily accessible from local Farmers, even the smaller branches carry at least Revlon so this foundation is my favourite option when I need something to grab quickly, I first found this when shopping in Ashburton whilst visiting and loved it said it was for combi skin and the shade range was quite good, easily found a shade that matched.
The application is good when used with either a brush or damp sponge, it settles nicely, is long lasting, doesn't sink into the pores and gives a nice soft look to the face without being too dewy or too matte, a nice healthy medium. Doesn't break up around the nose or smile lines until well after the 8 hour mark and by then I am ready to be rid of the makeup anyway.
one of my favourite easily available foundations. they have a pretty small colour range but they do have some good pale shades as i am very pale and they have a shade that is perfect for me. very long lasting and doesnt dry or look oily or anything.
Stay proof? Absolutely! I was impressed that it didn't transfer when I touched my face. Only my oils transferred. They have a nice selection of shades. The glass bottle has a nice pump. The coverage is medium to buildable and this product was nice and long wearing. It sat a little funny on and around my nose so it did look a little cakey.
