Just not for me.

I love Thursday Plantation products, and my experience with the Nurture Oil hasn't put me off. I brought this as it sounded like a good alternative to Rosehip Oil, just to mix up my routine. But the essential oils in it are too strong for me, so I end up with a "burn" if I apply it to the same area two days in a row. I am really disappointed by this, but obviously it's not the products fault!

Tips: Be wary if you have sensitive skin.

Thursday Plantation Nurture Oil

I managed to get a really good deal on this from a friend. First of all, I like the scent, I'm not crazy for it but for a cheap oil it smells pretty nice and has a nice orangey/citrus scent. I like that it is a mix of different oils - main ones being sweet almond, wheat germ, rosehip and grapeseed oil. My skin is a bit dry this time of year and so this absorbs pretty well and keeps my skin hydrated. The pump worked well and I like that the bottle is opaque which is better at preserving the active ingredients than a clear bottle. The reason why I'm giving it fewer smooches is because I've used other facial oils that I felt out performed this one, however those were more pricey so this is a good bargain. I did really like using it on my body though I as a body oil and on my hands at night it was really nice also moisturized my cuticles. The scent went really nicely with my Weleda Skinfood cream since it has a citrusy/orange scent as well. That being said I do think that if you were to use it as a body oil it becomes a bit pricey taking into account the size of the bottle. I would purchase it again for use at night again on my hands and I think it would be a good buy to treat things like anywhere that is extra dry and you would like to treat. For me it would be my hands.

Tips: Good as a cheap treatment oil for areas on your body that need a little TLC. I like to layer this under my hand cream at night.

Nurturing My Scar!

I have been using this oil every day for just over a week and already I am rather impressed with it! Ive used a few different oils in the past and have never really had much luck.

At the beginning of this year I had a suspicious mole removed above the knee and I have been left with a nasty purple scar. After just a week of putting this oil on it I have noticed it has faded and the dryness of the scar has disappeared. Im really excited to continue using this product for a longer period and see the results! I have also been using it on my stretch marks which have faded slightly.

The thing I love about the bottle of this product is that it comes with a pump that actually only spits out a small amount! Which is great because a little goes a long way with this product. It is also fast absorbing so you don't have to worry about getting it all over your clothes when you get dressed shortly after applying.

I personally am not a huge fan of the smell of this oil, but only because it smells the same as the citrus shower cleaner I use! Other people have commented the smell is refreshing and pleasant.

I think I will have to invest in this product permanently to help banish my scar so I won't feel self conscious about it by the time summer rolls around!

My secret new must have!

I brought this natural oil based serum for my partner after his motorbike accident to help reduce the appearance of his scars.

I was drawn to Thursday Plantation Nuture Oil because of the natural ingredients and promise of helping minimise the appearance of scars. I made him use it daily but after three weeks he wanted to give up, the scars hadn't reduced at all. But at least his skin was super soft and looked great.

Thats when I started secretly using this product! I pretty much have used it everywhere now! I use it after my shower as an all over body moisturiser, even on my face! Its great because a little goes a long way. I noticed my skin tone start to even out slightly and I was left with very soft (not greasy) skin.

I use extra product to cure my dry elbows and soften my cuticles before doing my nails. I sometimes mix a drop into my makeup remover to help with stubborn mascara and it really seems to help!. I also have tried this in the tips of my hair to help with split-ends and was left with nice soft hair, but it did feel slightly oily at first.

This product is great, although dosnt seem to reduce appearance of scars which is why I brought it. I like the smell as its not too overpowering and has a nice floral note. My partner on the other hand wasnt fussed over it, not 'manly' enough I guess.

I will continue to use because I really am loving the results.

Great Multitasker

I originally got this to treat my newly formed stretch marks and began using it just after I had my son. Two months down the line and my once dark reddy-purple stretchies are now a pale purple. They're definitely fading, however, stretch marks fade on their own (or so I am told) so I'm unsure how much of that I can put down to the product.

What I will say is it stacks up as a great general purpose oil even if it's not a miracle stretch mark magic wand.

The pump dispenser is great it makes it really easy to get an appropriate amount of product.

The smell is amazing. It's full of just about every type of oil you can think of that would benefit the skin and you can pick up notes of many of these.

I've been using it on my face and it's actually kind of surprised me how good my skin/pores are looking. I'm super run down at the moment my skin is falling apart but in between the pimples and eczema and scaly bits there is an underlying refined look and smoothness that by rights should not be there. I've also been using this on my hands after I've rubbed on my belly and face and my cuticles are looking great (another area that falls apart normally when I'm running on empty) and my nails seem surprisingly strong.

Love it!

Really cool product..yet to see if it makes a difference but it smells nice and blends in after a while. Wouldn't wear it all the time though as I am afraid of my hair getting in it and becoming greasy haha.

Thursday Plantation Nurture Oil

This oil comes in an attractive beige pink and green bottle with a pump dispenser on top. It has a pleasant citrusy fragrance. One pump dispenses quite a large amount. I have been using the oil on my hands and arms and legs, with good results. It sinks into my skin almost immediately and leaves my skin smooth and hydrated. I have sun damaged skin on my forearms, so am hoping it will make a difference to them over time. It is a lovely light oil and not too greasy. I love the natural ingredients, too, like sweet almond oil, wheat germ oil, grape seed oil, hypericum oil, calendula oil, rosehip oil, mandarin oil, and lavender oil.

Tips: The 60 ml bottle should last a while if used for specific areas like face, neck, arms and legs.

Thursday Plantation Nurture Oil.

The Thursday Plantation Nurture Oil is a fast absorbing body oil, that reduces the appearance of scars, nourishes skin and prevents loss of moisture it also helps reduce exposure to harmful every day factors that contribute to the aging of skin and it states that it enhances skin tones and complexion.

Personally I love this product, it smells great and makes my skin feel fantastic. The aroma of this product is quite a herbally smell with undertones of citrus, it comes across quite strong at first but I grew to love it.

The consistency of this product is quite a bit more runny compared to my other bio oil, but that is a good thing, it means you can use less and it goes further and reduces wastage of this product. The longevity of this product I'm unsure about as I put it on my skin before I went to bed, but when I woke up my skin was incredibly smooth, especially my face.

Another reason why I love this product is that on the packaging it states that there are no chemicals, synthetic preservatives along with a lot more other harmful things that your skin doesn't need. Along with all this, the box also states that this product is not tested on animals which is another huge bonus.

The packaging I think is quite attractive, a light brown (sort of tan colour) with pink patterns, which really draws your eyes in. The size of the bottle on the other hand is quite small for the amount that you are paying for this product.

When the product states that it helps improve the appearance of stretch marks, I think you will have to religiously use the product for weeks to see a difference as stretch marks don't just go away overnight.

I will definitely suggest this product to any of my friends that are worrying about dry skin, stretch marks, uneven skin tone or aging skin.

Tips: When applying nurture oil, the packaging says to "gently spray" I personally wouldn't spray because its pretty wasteful and the bottle doesn't 'spray', it more squirts out. I put the product on the palm of my hand then massage into affected areas, I find it works a lot better.

Thursday Plantation Nurture Oil

I think it could be a bit cheaper, or maybe a bit more product in the bottle, 100ml perhaps.

The bottle has a pump design which is great and it squirts out not too much product so you not going to accidentally use too much which is pretty common in oil products.

I was pleasantly surprised at the consistency, I was expecting a thick and heavy oil like bio oil and it was nothing like that, it was soft and light felt like putting textured water on my skin and it absorbed super fast and left my skin nice and soft and I did not feel like I could mine oil off my face which I always feel like when I use oil products-that sold me big time!

Amazing it actually worked, it lightened my acne scarring which I thought wouldn't get any lighter as I have been treating it for quite a while now. The best part....it lightened my dark circles, I am absolutely over the moon about that and very excited to keep using and seeing the difference, and it's only been 9 days, my eyes did not burn at all.

I am not used to the smell yet, I really don't like it all that much. It reminds me of the brown material plasters or the hospital smell but besides that, I love this product and highly recommend it.

Tips: Try it out for dark circles!

Nurture Oil

I LOVE this product, 100% naturally derived and smells so refreshing , it contains many natural oils that work to reduce fine lines, fade scars and stretch marks and also nurture your skin, I use this as an all over body moisturizer a few pumps of the oil along with a natural moisturizer. It is fast absorbing and leaves my skin feeling super smooth. Highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to opt for a more natural, versatile oil.

Tips: A little goes a lonnnnng way, one pump should be enough for the area of concern.
