I have combination skin, but it gets dry during the cold weather, so I used it at night this winter prior to my night cream. About a month after I started using it, I met a friend who I didn't see for a while. She asked me what I have been using on my skin because my skin was clearer and my acne scar/ freckles had faded.

Tips: Apply to slightly damp skin and then apply the moisturizer.
I bought this hoping it would help lessen the look of acne scars on my face.
I used it every night before going to bed and finished the whole bottle, but to be honest I can't say I noticed any difference in my scars - and I wasn't that fond of the way the oil felt on my skin. However it did make my skin feel nice and soft, but that wasn't enough for me to continue using it. (I think I'm in need of a miracle cream!)
This is a beautiful product. I didnt think an oil would be so amazing. I have normal to oily skin, but it soaks in an disappears. All that is left is soft skin. I use morning and night. Works well under makeup.
Have been using a month now and I am 100% positive it has made a difference. My skin feels like it is in better condition and the overall skin tone looks more youthful - like the glow you get when you are pregnant.
Tips: Bottle says 2-3 drops. I use 4 drops. It goes on best when skin is damp - apply straight after washing face with flannel - don't dry with towel. It wont go on smoothly on completely dry skin.
I adore this oil! It's my holy grail facial moisturizer & serum. It has a lovely light scent & feels beautiful on the skin.
I wash my face with skin food cleanser using my olay pro-x brush, followed with a homemade toner & then a few drops of the rosehip oil & then complete my regimen with a light skin food moisturizer.
I suffer from breakouts once a month & I'm notorious for picking at spots which often results in scarring. The rose hip oil fades these scars within a week, it really is a god send!
It is light & absorbs into the skin very easily & you only need to use a few drops. I will often apply more at night time so I can wake up to my skin feeling extra plump & smooth .
It's fantastic under make up as it's not greasy.
Tips: Start of with two or three drops, it's quite easy to use to much at first & you'll end up looking like a greasy mess!
I use this Rosehip Oil every other day in conjunction with another of Trilogy's product (which I have also placed a review on). This oil is extremely hydrating especially over the summer period when of course the suns rays are at their harshest on the skin. It has no scent to it. It comes with an eyedropper which makes for no over-use. The bottle says 2-3 drops, however, I have always had to use 4-5 drops per application. I purchased my bottle in September of last year, and still have half the bottle remaining. So as part of my nighttime routine, and as previously mentioned above, in conjunction with another of Trilogy's products, this Rosehip Oil is amazing, and I find it certainly serves it purpose. If you are prone to dry/sensitive skin, this is definitely worth trying.
Tips: RE: Eyebrows. If you are going to use this product as part of your morning routine, and you 'fill in' or 'draw' on your eyebrows (sorry if these words are too harsh), avoid applying this oil to the whole of that area, as you will find it difficult to apply, or run-age my occur later during the day.
I've been using this on my fiances back (he had a mole removed recently and what is left is an ugly red scar). We've been using this for about the past 3 weeks and I've noticed a huge difference in colour. The scar isn't as angry and red as a 5 week post surgery scar should look like. The skin around the scar is nice and pink, and the scar is a lot softer than it was previously. My fiance has noticed that the scar doesn't feel as tight. Would recommend as a cheaper alternative to Bio-Oil for scars and stretch marks!
My mum told me to use this after waking up with super puffy eyes. Did the trick to bring swelling down and soothe the redness and itch
Tips: Mix three drops in a bowl of boiling water. Grab a towel and hover your head over the bowl. Your face will feel hot and youll start to sweat all the dirty toxins in your face out. Sucha grest home fscial before applying a mud mask. Weekly applying is what i do
I have oily skin so I was a bit worried about putting an oil on it but WOW. Using this not only gives my skin an amazing glow and evens out the texture but it rebalances my skin and it is now less oily! I've even used this on burns and on scratches from gardening and notice improvements very quickly. A must try!
Tips: If you have oily skin and want to use this during the day take a few drops in the palm of your hand and mix with some aloe vera gel for an amazing light day moisturiser.
I received my ten free samples of the Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip oil after reading about it on one of the forums. I was really excited to try this as I had learnt about coconut oil from the forums and have had success with that but I am always looking for new things to try.
I have quite sensitive and dry skin – prone to eczema and other skin type problems (hives) and prone to the hormonal breakouts !.
Trilogy Rosehip oil is a very light oil (not as thick and heavy as something like coconut oil) and very easy to apply. I used this as a makeup remover using 2 drops onto a cotton ball and it took my makeup off hassle free – even eye makeup just glided off (mascara included). It’s much better than anything I have ever used to remove makeup. I put another drop in my hands and rubbed this into my face and neck and hands before bed. I did the same thing in the morning just a couple of drops in my hands to coat my face and hands and neck. My skin felt soft and supple and smooth and it absorbs very quickly into the skin which was a real plus. It was a great start to my makeup routine.
I also was dying to try this in my hair as I found other oils to be too heavy for my fine fly away hair. I put some in my hands and massaged into my scalp and put a tiny put through the rest of my hair. I left this on for 1 – 2 hours and then washed and conditioned my hair. It made my hair really soft and shiny. It looked really healthy. The only downfall was it made it a little bit staticy so next time I think I would just use a little bit less. I have also used one drop on the ends of my hair when its dry to tame flyaways and frizzys and this worked really well ( I haven’t been able to use any other oil in my dry hair).
It has a very light fragrance ( I don’t have the best sense of smell ) but it was definitely nothing noticeable (nothing like coconut oil). A little bit goes a long way with this oil so you only need to use one or two drops.
Trilogy rosehip oil is a little on the pricey side but I definitely think that it is worth the money.
I had great results with this my skin looks brighter and clearer and it tamed the wild frizzy flyaways and gave me a really healthy shine back. I would recommend this to all of my friends.
Tips: A little goes a long way :)
I used this product for quite a while & really liked it. I would use it morning & night with quite good results, the only disappointing thing is that I was hoping that it would fade some small acne scars which it failed to do. When Trilogy bought out their new rosehip antioxidant + I got a bottle of that & was totally converted! Been using it ever since.
