No Thanks

Used my free sample this morning and I'm glad I didn't purchase the full size. Its been about 7 hours since my shower and my legs are looking a wee bit dry and crackly. I tend to have this problem lately ahhh think its an age thing and I'm on alot of meds. So have applied my Body shop body butter, ahhh refreshed again. I felt the nivea wasnt too heavy and greasy but did make the shower floor a bit more slippery. I still felt I need to air dry a bit ok run around in my knickers and bra while putting the kettle on, then I got dressed. No I won't buy the full size one.

smells so good! <3

I really do love it but I think I need extra moisterization as I find that my skin (especially legs) get dry throughout the day and need to be moisterized twice daily.

It was really easy to use, although could have been more convenient in a pump bottle but neverless, still great. Smells really nice, not too overpowering and does exactly what it says!

You also don't need a lot either. The first time I used it I dolloped a big amount on my palms and by the third time, found that I probably didn't need that much, about a pea sized amount for each part of the body is more than enough!

Not sure how long it will last but with the pea sized amount, pretty sure it will be well worth the $7 I paid for!

(ps Pak N Save sell it cheaper!)

Strange concept, mixed results

I found this product easy to apply and easy to rinse off. The smell wasn't overpowering, and the consistency was a little like hair conditioner. I am super lazy and only take time to moisturise when my skin is super dry and I cannot avoid it.

This process was quick and easy and all in the shower. My skin was silky smooth straight after my shower, but the moisturised feeling didn't last as long as I thought it should.

I am not 100% sold on the concept so I will use up the rest of the bottle and see how I go, at this stage I am unsure if I will buy this product again.

Tips: Quick tip, if you have an excess of hair conditioner you can use that as an in shower moisturising cream and as a replacment shaving cream.......

It's a cheaper alternative to this product and multifunctional.

Nivea In Shower Body Conditioner.. Hmm ??

The moisturiser works well & my skin is soft smooth & hydrated. BUT I am not completely sold on this concept. It was a little too slippery when rinsing & I have concerns about whether it will make a slimy build up on the shower surround. Not much point saving time on the beauty/moisturising routine only to have more time used up cleaning the shower . Probably wouldn't purchase again

Tips: I stand on a face cloth to avoid any slips while rinsing. Always feel I have to clean shower floor afterwards so my unsuspecting family doesn't have any accidents

slippery shower and acne waah!

I used this for a week or two and strated getting massive white heads on my back and around my neck (even though i washed it throughouly) which was unfortunate. i gave it to my boyfriend and he has bad acne on his arms and it seemed to clear it up, so who knows hahahaha downside is that you tend to use a lot of it, luckily the bottles massive!!

it does leave a residue on the floor of the shower that needs to be scrubbed off, such a hazard!

Tips: turn shower off, rub it all over then while waiting shave armpits or whatever because theres not much indication how long to leave it to absorb :P

Never again!

Just tried my sample - I'll never, ever use this again (I threw the second sample away!)

I found it thick, gloopy, and when I rubbed it all over, it left a rubbery film on my skin. Had to use the cheap nasty gym soap in the dispenser on the wall to wash it off. Some got in my hair and now I have greasy patches in my hair. And the smell is not pleasant. Even after washing it off, when I towelled myself dry I felt slippery and moist (not moisturised, but moist, like sweaty...), and my clothes stuck to me.

I'll keep to moisturising after my shower!

An Added Extra

As with any new, unique product, I had to have my hands on this one as soon as it was in stores. I often skip moisterising if I feel that I'm too busy or need to get dressed straight away so I purchased this in the hope that I would get the moisture boost I need in the quickest time and most convenient way possible. The Nivea In Shower Body Skin Conditioner is easy to apply and has a creamy, thick texture that is easy to smooth over the body. It smells like a standard moisteriser which isn't particularly exciting but it isn't a downfall either. It leaves my skin soft and moisterised without the sticky feeling or residue of a standard moisterise however it isn't quite as moisterising as a standard moisteriser or body butter. I find that the Nivea In Shower Body Conditioner is quick and easy on the days when I'm in a rush, but I still need to use a body butter every second day.

Tips: Make sure not to slip on the shower floor after using this product.

Indulging !!!!:)

When i first used nivea in shower body condish it went on easly abit thick , but it really does hydrate my skin as soon as i rub it in especially considering im currently pregnant and my skin is going through abit of dry and patchy days. Although i did notice my bath/shower greasy after using but i clean it everyday , having bubbahs that love having baths so not really much diff just means a little more jif iv gotta use. Over all ! I love it . It leaves my skin baby soft and i can just feel my skin absorbing and indulging and it saves me moisturising after iv dried then waiting for it to dry which i use to hate doing after a hot shower i just want to get out get dress and be done moisturising use to make me hot and sticky so coming out of the shower and drying then getting dressed straight away is excellent wish they could have come up with this along time ago i really love it and so does my skin .

Tips: I usually exfoliate before applying so my skin can really absorb it and i rub it in well on my elbows and knees

Great product worth a try

Kept my skin moisturised all day. No itchy skin for a change. Ive had problems with my arms drying out due to a lot of driving with sun on my arm with work and found they lasted a couple of days moisturised after applying shower cream

Tips: Don't have to turn the shower off just move to side

overcoming very dry skin

I've been using this Nivea for a week now. It was on special at Countdown so I bought two bottles. I wash, turn the shower off, apply this conditioning lotion freely and then rinse. I still use a bit of moisturiser afterwards but not as much as when not using the product.

Tips: Be generous with the amount you put on and turn the shower off briefly when applying. I'm using the blue bottle for very dry skin
