Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB Cream

I was lucky enough to pick this up for a few dollars while holidaying overseas. I wanted to try this after hearing so many great reviews but was somewhat disappointed. This turned out to be the same texture as a tinted moisturiser. After applying, it didn't hide anything. I tried wearing this on the weekend when I wanted a light coverage. After an hour, it seemed like it was developing and turned darker! I tried as a base under my foundation and by the end of the day, my face just looked horrible. I ended up giving this away.

This is the 5th BB cream I have tried and I was pretty impressed with the results. In particular, this BB cream is really amazing as a base if you are after a dewy look.

Sometimes BB creams can be quite greasy and give an oily appearance but this BB cream was very moisturising and made my skin glow.

It doesn't slip throughout the day or in the heat which is something I really enjoyed and which I'm loving this summer. I do however, prefer a more matte look in the winter time so am unsure if I will continue to use it then.

I have used a couple of different BB creams and this would have to be my favourite so far. My partner is not a fan of my wearing a lot of make up but I want at least a 'natural' amount so this has been a good compromise. He says that he loves that I don't look like I have a ton of makeup on. I use it when I want just that natural look and have used it under foundation and it seems to make that foundation (Maybelline FitMe) last longer. Will always be a regular in my makeup bag.

It's not my first choice of BB Cream, I have tried a couple of others and liked them more than this one, if only because the smell is off-putting and you have to be very careful with the amount you use. If you use too much it makes your skin look very pale and if you use too little it doesn't cover anything.

To combat this problem I found dabbing a little on my face and rubbing it in as I go helps to get the coverage needed, that way if its too little you can always add a bit more.

The annoying part I found was that sometimes when squeezing the tube it would just ooze out and not seem to want to stop..

I have used a couple of different types of BB cream and although this is the cheapest so far,I find that it definitely doesn't give me the coverage that the others did. It does make an okay primer though however I do find depending on the foundation I am wearing, it can make my skin extra greasy. Probably won't buy again but will finish off my tube.

I'm quite low maintenance when it comes to every day make-up, preferring to do the whole lot when I go out. I thought I would try this product as an easy coverage for the day. It is fantastic! It is easy to apply, keeps my face fresh looking while covering the redness and imperfections. The colour looks natural and not cakey. Perfect for a low maintenance girl like me!

I love this bb cream. I use it on a day to day basis under my foundation as a base and it is amazing. if I don't feel like wearing to much make up I will just wear this and powder. so light on the face and it makes your face all one complexion. I make sure I buy 2 bottles at once so I never run out. love love love

I bought the blue one because it had been suggested many times to me to try as i have sensitive skin but slightly oily skin & usually use something rather expensive..

well it was more like a tinted moisturiser, it did glide on easily but i wouldnt wear it on its own sadly...

it also caused an allergic reaction so i guess ill stick to more expensive brands.

I had the pink one, i really do not like this product. I need more coverage as this is more like a tinted moisturizer. Also it might just be my sensitive nose but i feel like these have a slight baby powder scent? which reminds me of the $2 makeup or childrens makeup. They last well with a setting powder but without, you might as well not wear any as the product budges so easily. Not completely bad, but in my personal oppinion, its not worth the money. unless you already have flawless skin and just need a base to work on.

This is the best BB cream I have used so far. It looks very natural while still evening out the skin tone and hiding those blemishes. It wears well, keeping me covered all day. The only downside would have to be the smell which is akin to a changing room at a public pool but this is only noticeable during application, not once blended.
