I was sent this hand cream for review. Like everyone, my hands have been thrashed by the constant hand washing and sanitising of late. I have pretty dry hands at the best of times and over washing can make the skin near my nails crack.
This product has been a really good, practical one to have on my desk at work. It’s a thick, fragrance-free cream that reminds me of the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula cream I used back in the day. It leaves my hand feeling amazing afterwards and it absorbs fast enough so they don’t feel too greasy. I found that sanitising not long after application didn’t seem to affect the barrier layer much either.
It’s in a sturdy screw-top tube that I feel confident to throw in my bag without fearing a spill. Normally I prefer to use something that smells amazing for a bit of a pick me up, but this is a good and solid option when I need some serious moisture. I’m happy to have both options on the go.
I would definitely buy this again but I feel like it will be a long time before I need to. A little goes a long way and it feels like this tube is going to last for ages.
This could not have come at a better time after excessive hand washing and sanitising! I don’t have particularly dry hands but I have this one random dry patch on a finger - and nothing has worked to sooth it. So I was pretty excited to try this.
This product not only helped my hands feel soft and moisturised, but actually helped the one really dry patch on my finger! It hasn’t gone away, but this definitely has helped it - especially when it flares up. It soaks into the skin quite quick and doesn’t have an overpowering fragrance like many hand creams do. This will definitely be one I keep on hand (*get it, nice pun...*) for winter and for rescuing those moments of dry skin.
Tips: A little goes a long way!
