Linden Leaves Vetiver & Violet Nourishing Hand Cream Reviews
Nurture beautiful hands. Intensely nourishing hand cream enriched with shea and coco butters. Beautifully fragranced with bright top notes of bergamot accented with a spicy floral, violet heart, layered over a warmly aromatic base of vetiver, amber & sandalwood. Vegan friendly. Made wih love in New Zealand.

This comes in a matte, navy blue and rose gold squeezable tube. I like the understated, cool look of it, and although I prefer a flip-top lid for quick access, the screw-top lid does make it much better for transporting.
The cream is thick but smooth and easily spreadable, quickly absorbing into the skin, with no greasy after-feel at all. It's a robust cream though, so it doesn't just melt away into nothing - which for me is a good thing. It leaves my very dry hands feeling immediately comfortable, soothed and moisturised. But the scent. Oh my. I was using LL's Aqua Lily body cream for a while, and the fragrance just wasn't my fav. Pleasant but too floral-ocean-scenty for my taste. This vetiver and violet scent is dreamy; it's got real complexity to it. There are some sweet floral notes, but underneath it's all warm spiced vanilla and fragrant wood, with a hint of bergamot for lightness. Just divine, imho. And it lingers beautifully on the skin.
So, my hands feel soft and they smell like heaven. I love it. I believe it's quite expensive as far as hand creams go (I got it as a gift), but the 100 ml tube will last me a long time, I think. Because it's a rich cream, I don't need to pile it on to feel the benefits. And I'm happy to pay a bit more for something that I love :)
Tips: The scent smells quite citrusy in the tube, but once it's on your skin, the warmer, deeper layers of the fragrance come out, so don't rely on a quick sniff of the tube in the shop to decide whether or not to purchase. Try it on your skin first.
